    Hi @Mamusworld,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I noticed that you want to scan multiple photos on your HP Photosmart c309 as individual files, but the box is grayed out. I'm happy to help you!

It sounds as if there is a problem of driver/software with your printer software. I recommend the following:

    1. Uninstall the software. Uninstalling the printer software.
    2. Clean boot the computer. How to perform a boot in Windows.
    3. Re-install using the HP print and Scan Doctor.

Hope this helps and have a great day!

  • Scanning multiple photos and save them in dependent files

Have a new printer, a large Format HP Officejet 7500 a.

    ProductName; C9309A - SSN {removed privacy}.

Installed on Windows 7 Pro and Mac OS X

Question; Scanning multiple photos and save them in dependent files, as it used to be with the series HP4500. Possible or not? No msg error but boring...

This is possible, plaurier, but you will need to select it in the printer for scanning software. When you are scanning from your computer, there should be a window that appears with information about the type of file you want to save as only as well as the details of the analysis.

Here there should also be a button or a link for the "Advanced" options You can choose if you used to save the scans as a single file or multiple.

Let me know if it helps!

  • Scanning multiple photos

Hello, I'm scanning several photos and they are saved as a single page.  My old hp split in separate files as long as they were not paid.  I can't understand how to do this with this new all in one photosmart hp 6515.  I have the vista operating system.  I just support hp cat and he said to uninstall and reinstall the printer.   Someone, help me.

    Thank you, Shirley

    Hi grammy2012,

Printers with lower and 14 driver versions have this feature.  With 20 versions or older printers are not pilots. If you have a new model, no doubt he has the version of the driver above 20 and the function is simply not in the software.

This means the automatic cropping several photos.

With 20 and older driver versions, it is possible to do this, but not automatically.

    1. place your multiple photos on the glass.

    2. scan in JPG

    3. Select the harvest in one of the photos.

    4. click on to add a page.

5 harvest in the second photo.

    6. If you have more than two photos on the glass, perform steps 3 and 4 until all the photos are on a 'page '.

    7. click on save button and assign a name, the photos will be all saved in separate files.

I'm doing something wrong? I missed to HO in the manual somehwere? Or is the prehistoric 8610 as compared to the old all-in-one?

  • I can not scan several photos at once

I have a hp deskjet 3052 has windows vista.   My old printer was able to scan several photos at once and save the pictures to separate files.  It does not seem to do that.  I intend on scanning multiple photos and plan on using this printer and get something else, if it is not possible to the software to make or load.  Anyone know where I can find a list of printers that will do this?

After 4 years, I was sent the software. It seems to work fine if I put the pictures away from the edge of the scanner.  My scanner still works, so I'll use this program. I'm very happy with it.

I'm linking you to a document we have on the home page of the product for this printer.  It is said that it is for Mac OS x v 10.10, but I think that it also works in Maverick.

Scan multiple pages into one file

Click on the + sign next to scan to a single file

It will allow you to scan multiple photos, but on the documents.

    See if that helps.

Scan from in the editor, rather than the organiser. Then, after scanning multiple photos, select Image > divide scanned Photos.

    See you soon,.

  • DeskJet 2540 all in a Digital Photo

I have photos on 4 X 6 photo paper difficulty printing on my Deskjet 2540.  I am running 10.9.1.  print options iPhoto doesn't give me not all sizes in addition to the standard paper sizes and 8 X 10 photo.  I had to use the dialogue print another program to create a custom 4 X 6 size, but when I print, it only gives me half an inch of the image and leave the rest of the white photo paper.  All the solutions out there?

Call technical support to obtain the solution to my problem.  After the upgrade to the Mavericks, I intalled the latest drivers and software HP, but I didn't reset my printers through the system preferences, so I wasn't getting all the bang of my new driver.  If you encounter the same problem, here's what you do.

    1. go to System Preferences

    2. Select Printers and Scanners

    3. right click on one of the printers listed in the white box on the left, and select "Reset Printing System" at the bottom of the list

    4. once the system is reset, click the "+" button at the bottom left and select "add printer or Scanner.

    5. Select your HP printer in the list, and then select 'Printer name' in the menu 'Use' menu (mine was listed as "HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2540 all-in-One").

    6. click on 'Add' and you're ready to go!

A beautiful print media options palette now appears in your printer dialogs.

  • scanning multiple pages

I just bought a series of all-in-one HP Deskjet 2540 mainly for scanning.  I can digitize unique pages, but can't figure out out to scan multiple pages into a single set.  All I see is 'search of multipage documents as single or multiple files come back and go to the file tab in the advanced settings'.  What do I do from there?

Thank you very much.  In fact, I think that I just thought of it.  When you hover over the more it says check «back»  However, in another place, he says 'return' is just for when you are not satisfied with the scan and must be clicked after xing on.
