  I use Windows 7 64-bit Service Pack 1 and who have had this problem awhile.

  I tried to disable all startup items and then turned off all non-microsoft services, so only microsoft services were running.

  The Welcome screen flashes always on twice.

  Thank you sdgardne... That was fast.  . I tried several times to reduce security at most down and finally removed all software blackberry from my main computer and installed from blackberry website.  I got a new set screen but it didn't lose any of its data.  I don't have to enter a password.

  The mSATA drive is used as a cache for the hard drive dynamic - these are essentially implemented in a RAID 0 array.  See the link below (it is for Alienware, but applies to your system as well).

  If you want to keep the disk cache, you need to configure the array as shown.
