  For me, it looks like a bad connection somewhere between the screen and the motherboard.
  This could be possible reason for failure to display while sliding in and out.

  I guess this can be resolved easily and I think that it is a job for a technician (authorized service provider). I recommend you contact the service technician in your country to get the laptop fixed. I hope that the warranty is still valid in order to repair for free.

  I have a hp laptop pavilion g6 with two cards, the AMD M880G with ATI mobility Radeon HD 4250 and AMD Radeon HD 6470 M. The screen goes black when you enter the desktop screen (only visible pointer) after you have reinstalled windows 7 64-bit with HP recovery, checks resetting factory and the reduced image.

  I do not see the Task Manager either because it does not appear on the screen when I press ctrl-alt-delete. When I try to update the driver in safe mode, downloaded from HP site, windows tells me that the installed controller is already updated and when running the catalist also downloaded HP gives me an error "Error loading controller detection." Any help?

  I've simplified a more complicated model to try to understand what is happening, but I can't for the life of understand me. My camera starts to zoom in to a way of 3d layer in the distance.   My iPhone 6 screen goes black randomly (usually during sleep) and when it happens, the fact response to touch or no sound. I know that the phone is on because I can always call another phone and it sounds on the line, but as I said the iPhone does not ring. Hard reboot (press home + power button for a while) will not solve the problem immediately after the restart, but after some time (hours or days), it goes black again and I have to do the same thing.

  No idea why this is happening? Is it a software or a hardware problem?  I'm really curious to know how to restart the phone resolves the problem.

  I am not able to take it to the bar of the kind of these days because of my busy schedule. I wonder what they need to replace when I take it to the store.

  Sounds like a problem of software for me, especially because it forces is a troubleshooting step software, and you say that solved the problem (of least temporarily).

  However, I still think that the Genius Bar would be a good idea. They have access to diagnoses that are not accessible by the user, who can easily identify which applications or processes are causing the problem. I think that they can also do this by phone, but I rarely call support so I am not sure.
