Screen of blackBerry on Q5 Q5 lock

My Blackberry now screen is locked even if I use it, I can be on the phone, hang up and my screen is locked.

It allows to lock 5 minutes after I was using it now it crashes 5 minutes after being last unlocked.

How can I fix it in 5 minutes after the last use.

Thank you

Try to fly out of this case and see if it works properly.

And do a reset and restart as well:
Restart: With the BlackBerry powereddevice, press and hold the power button on top about 20-30 seconds, ignore the 3-2-1 timer and hold the button until the screen goes black and you see the red LED.
or
Restart: With the phone smart BlackBerry turned on, using the keys of volume of the edge side, press on and hold the keys of volume for about 20 seconds and both of the Up, ignoring the initial message of screenshot... the screen go black, reboot.

Would amp, you reboot and see if it works correctly?

Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. • BlackBerry Q5 display on lock screen wallpaper will not change (with aprental controls off-road and without)

The following took place in my quest to solve the meanless screen too high.  That's why I serched for several Blackberry World and internet screen savers.

At some point, I downloaded a wallpaper of the internet where I have the image itself has been doenloaded in images and from there I clicked it and got options to use as paper screen wallpaper and wall of a lock.

Later, I found the other wallpaers and succeeded him.  However, it has not changed the lock screen wallpaper.

I did it with the parental control is turned off.  Later, when I changed the wallpaper that's not going away from the lock screen, the icons were changed and new wallpaper was left out leaving a black background.

But this process has not changed the lock screen.

I deleted the uploaded image independent of photos and the lock screen still shows the wallpaper I'm changing.

    Any suggestions?

Thanks, I've thought about it.  It's the fact that the original file was set as wallpaper screen and lock of bot.  I changed just walpapers thanks walpaper software added to the Q5.

  • BlackBerry Z10 display on lock screen wallpaper

A week ago, I noticed that my Z10 display the BB_Blue.jpgp wallpaper on the lock screen. I saw him a few days and then he stopped.

I thought it was odd because I had not chosen a background of screen on the device at this point, so I thought it could be related to the OS update to 10.1.0.273 (although this has happened a few weeks after the update).

But I liked the look!  He relieved the monotony of the dark background.

Then I put the wallpaper at BB_Blue.jpgp and it works on all screens except when the device is locked.

Anyone know how to set the background image to display on the lock screen?

The solution came to me after I realized what was different about my setup.

I had activated the Parental control as a means of screening telemarketer calls. With only active PC calls from numbers in my contacts would cause the phone to ring, all other calls would go directly to the answer.

What I realized, is that certain settings applied while Parental control is activated, applies only to this mode. My idea was the fact that I had arranged my icons go, and when I disabled it briefly Parental control they were back to the standard display.

I tested this by assigning the wallpaper for the purple standard view, then activated Parental control set the wallpaper in blue. When you navigate in Parental control mode, the wallpaper is blue, but when the screen freezes the purple wallpaper is displayed.

If the bug (or feature not documented), it's that the wallpaper you choose with active Parental control is not used for the lock screen. The locked screen uses the wallpaper to the standard display. In my original problem, because I didn't put a wallpaper for the standard display, the locked screen showed that the dark background.

    Hi clearebragy1

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums

If you talk about the device password then simply change SIM card will not disable the device password a user defined here device. But if we enter too bad password (default is 10) then our device will begin a wipe removing all user data of this unit and must start all over again.

But if it's BlackBerry ID password, then it will be different! If we go in too bad password for our BlackBerry ID then it locks us, first for 15 minutes and so on. In this situation, must reset the BlackBerry ID password, but it will never be allowed to wipe our BlackBerry, refer to this Article:

KB24157 : BlackBerry ID locking behavior

  • Push the pop-up screen at the top of the lock screen

Hi, is it possible to grow a popup with some editfields screen, while the device is locked?

    I am currently using:

    Ui.getUiEngine().pushGlobalScreen(customPopUpScreen, 100, UiEngine.GLOBAL_QUEUE);
    UiApplication.getApplication().requestBackground();

but it is not display the dialog box when the screen is locked. It seems possible, considering that the native app alarm shows the dialog box while the device is locked.

    Help please!

I am sure that you are referring to http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Java-Development/pushGlobalScreen-restrictions/m-p/19550/high...

In this discussion, they came to the conclusion that nothing can get pushed on top of the screen to unlock except the native alarm alert dialog box. I guess I can push the alert dialog but I need user interaction while the device is locked, so I guess that answered my question

    Thanks Peter!

  • Buttons and screen of blackBerry Smartphones has stopped working.

    Hi all

My Blackberry works today - strange as usually very reliable. Problems: I can used is no longer the screen - it high lights up the apps but they won't open when I push on, buttons work. And he starts to turn his car.  He gets calls, but you can pick up.

Odd - until this morning it was working fine but now nothing works at all.

What is really strange it is the sensitive touchscreen, but does not when you click. The screen lock has also stopped working. Basically, everything is bolloxed

    Any suggestions?

    Probably tired...?

    Thank you

    Tim

    Yep, it's pretty common,

Do this now. Remove the battery for at LEAST 3 days and put the device in a bag of uncooked dry rice. He's going to soak up moisture.

An alternative to rice, is leave the unit with the battery removed, sitting at 3 days on top heat emitting an electronic device, such as a cable box, stereo amplifier, something with dry heat.

The recovery key is the several days without putting the battery to check it out.

Remember, electricity plus water is not good.

Are you annoyed by the touchscreen BlackBerry Storm (tm) remains active during a call? Frustrated with accidental screen presses activating programs while you talk?
CellAvant has the answer... TalkLock. This free utility snaps automatically a few seconds after a call is connected and intercept the actions of touchscreen. This prevents presses to launch programs or functions call screen while you talk.
When the call ends for any reason, TalkLock releases control of the screen until your next call. You can also disable the lock and back to your normal phone at any time behavior by sliding your finger across the screen from left to right.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Heellpp! Locking my Blackberry

Hello, I'm new to BlackBerry, and I want to know how to password lock my Blackberry Torch. I put a password, but I assumed that it did not close the phone when I pressed the lock button on the top of the BlackBerry. But, I have to select "Password lock" in the menu and then it is locked.

Is there anyway that I can make sure it locks when I press the botton of locking on top, instead of having to select it from the menu. Pleassee... I love this phone and I want everything to be perfect!

    Helpp!

Hello and welcome to the community!

Nope - are you witnesses is WAD - working as designed. There should be a "Password Lock" screen icon who may be more quick than using the menu (depending on where you have this icon, of course).

    Good luck!

  • Black screen for 10 seconds and then lock screen after ios 10

I am facing a problem where my iphone 6 randomly shows a black screen with a loading circle in the Center for about 10 seconds and then wakes up to the password lock screen.

Called in support and they mentioned to install ios 10 via itunes instead and a new device settings and do not restore the backup to diagnose the problem.

Is anyone else having the same problem? Any suggestions that might be faster than the one mentioned by the Apple Support

Colleague and I have this specific question. Getting really boring. The app I was on lost its place, its similar accidents are happening

  • Black finger across the screen to the bottom only in locked mode - retina 2014

Mine is a MacBook Pro (retina, 15 inches, mi 2014) 2.2 GHz with integrated display. When I opened the laptop this morning, I was welcomed by a screen locked and noticed a black spot on the lower part of the screen. My heart sank for a moment, but when I logged in, I did not notice the finger any longer.

I see the black spot that looks like an ink spot (see photo) when I get back to screen locked again. What is an LCD failure or is there something else going on? If it's an LCD has failed, why not see the problem when it is unlocked? How to fix? Thanks for any help.

Notice the black spot. The white point at the bottom left of the screen above is just the cursor hidden.

No stain when unlocked can be exceeded.

Could be a hardware failure.  If you bought AppleCare, you have 3 years warranty on the material and can diagnose the Genius Bar it repair free of charge - it is reproducible, so you can show them.
