• Portege M200: Rotation utility does not work with the new driver

  Hello

  I have a Portege M200 with the Gforce 5200Go. Since the last officially available graphics driver is the 46,44 I changed the 93.71 and installed. But the Rotation Utility does not work with this driver.

  When I use the driver nv for the rotation of the screen the tabletpen's is more synchronized: move the tabletpen left results in movement of the mouse to the top etc.

  Anyone any ideas?

  This ESC/Rotation button works in the same way as the ESC key when struck or changes the orientation of the screen when pressed for more then second. That s right!

  When Toshiba Rotation utility and Toshiba accelerometer utilities are run, the changes in the orientation of the top and bottom of the screen is automatically recognized by pressing ESC/Rotation for more than a second.

  So remember that the two utilities are run correctly!

  There is a bug in OS 6.0 on the 9700 until 6.0.0.358. The question * SHOULD * be resolved in versions after 6.0.0.359 but I can't guarantee it.

• Portege M400 - screen rotation utility does not

  A week ago, I turned the screen to put in tablet mode and noticed that the screen does not rotate 90 degrees automatically as it normally does.

  I then pressed the button of the screen rotation so that it would automatically adjust to the direction that the laptop was in. This had no effect.

  I was able to rotate the screen manually by going to the graphic properties and you can set up hotkeys to rotate manually onscreen, but is no longer automatically adjusts. I ran the utility of toshiba manually rotation, but it doesn't have an effect either.

  Does anyone have any suggestions?

• My rotation tool does not work? (FreeHand MX, Mac OS 10.6.3)

  Recently, I loaded FreeHand MX on a Macbook Pro.  It seems to work pretty good, except that I can't get the "rotation" tool to select. I added this tool to the default toolbar (using ' tools/customize bar' but when I try the select, the cursor returns almost immediately to an arrow or magnifying glass (whatever earlier).) So to rotate objects I had to activate/view transform handles, or use the transformation dialog box and type in my values. The first solution works pretty well, but I would really like the tool rotation basis to work!

  I read last month in the forum of people have problems with FH and OS 10.6.2. someone said 10.6.3 solved their problem, so I upgraded to 10.6.3 before FH MX is loaded. But I wonder if it is a 10.6.3 compatibility issue, or if there is something I can do for menus, preferences or restart, which would make this work tool. I need a solution that does not reload the software of my disks on the fly.

  If you can help solve this problem, much appreciated! Then, I would have just my usual get-used-to-MX learning curve (I normally work 10 Freehand on an old G5 and Mac OS 10.4.11).

  Make sure that you have added the button of "Rotation" of the tools/commands group.

  There is another icon "run...". "in her edit > Group of transformations. This button opens the transformation for the rotation options panel.

• Satellite U920T - duplex cam + touch screen + win button does not work

  I have the problem as the touch screen + frontal camera + camera rear windows on the screen button do not work.

  I tried to install the drivers to display/graphics but that has not helped.

  I bought this laptop from Saudi Arabia and it is still under warranty but I am out of country, so I can't ask the warranty as well.

  Since you mentioned different problems with your laptop, I think that in this case its recommended to get the laptop back to factory settings just to check if all these problems are related to the problem of system.

  Regarding the webcam: Windows 8/8.1 already contains the webcam drivers and therefore additional webcam driver installation isn t possible. Extra webcam driver is not simply.

  From my point of few smells of any description as a bit of a problem of material, the upper part of the slide where the touch screen is part of.
  The key win as well that the two cams are located and there are probably some lose the connection between the two parties (touchscreen and keyboard)

  Anyway, as I said more top, its recommended to recover the laptop to factory settings just to make sure that the system isn t the troublemaker.
  In case of hardware problems, you must get in touch service available in your country.

  Its been 10 days since I brought my Satellite C660 - series laptop.

  Fn + F6 or Fn + F7 keys for brightness control do not work. I see no change in brightness. There is no information or indication of the setting shown on the display.

  Can anyone suggest an alternative to set the brightness of the screen?

  Other keys FN + Fx work correctly?
  You can change the display brightness by using the power management option?

• Windows XP hangs at the splash screen, safe mode does not work either

  I've updated my laptop with a windows update and when I went to restart, it crashes just in the start screen.  I tried in safe mode hanging at MUP. SYS and I tried the last known configuration.  So far these options do not work.  I tried Memtest, HDAT2, Ultimate Boot CD tests, chkdsk/p and chkdsk/r, Windows XP, CD recovery and rebuild, tried to start up with each opening of USB port and even tried formatting and installing Windows XP Pro SP2 and Windows XP Home Edition SP1.  So far I have always in step 1, where nothing has solved nothing.

  I noticed that there is a thread here where a person has had the same problem and he said that it has updated its BIOS.  For hours, now I did research on how update my BIOS by creating a bootable disc...  I'm thumbs on a mile it looks.   Well I tried to Win 7 on a bootable disc.  I followed a bunch of instructions I found on youtube.com, but for some reason that I could not burn to disc.  Kept getting an error even if I followed every perfect step.

  In any case, I watched my CMOS on compensation, but the battery is soldered on.  I just messed with it a little bit to see if it was lost or anything thing but I didn't rip out and one other solder on because I have never done this before.  So I put everything back together, turned on my laptop and it finally starts up the Windows installation screen.  FINALLY!  Thanks for everyone's help and patience.  I guess the battery has lost... but not quite sure.  I left the laptop off for about 4-5 days before I tried to play with the CMOS this morning.

• Screen saver program does not work after reinstallation of Win7 (missing Direct 3d devices)

  I had a problem with a screen saver program that has run before on this machine.
  I had to reinstall windows 7 recently and he has not worked since.
  I am running Windows 7 64-bit, the monitor is a Dell 2310 ST s/n is CN-OU217R-72872-O2B-OUJS.

  I did a scan for #3 and it updated to a Webcam Pro 9000, which is a device that I have attached.
  The other 2 drivers are the latest from the scan.

  It seems that is missing a driver, or I need to change some settings, but I don't know who. Wonder if you could help me.

  The other person you meet may have the same problem but not the original poster.  I ordered the recovery disk to an authorized dealer for half of what charges of Lenovo.  I still have 239 days left on my warranty but I'm not sure what it covers.  Hope I don't have to use it.  Thanks for your reply.

  It seems that there is a change in Firefox 4, where the width of the drop-down list is now determined by the length of the longest bookmark name in the displayed folder. Versions previous of Firefox would be to shorten a long name like this and add an ellipsis to indicate the name has been truncated.

  Sorry, I don't know how to change it otherwise that you advise to change the name of this long bookmark name and make it less wordy. Just scroll to the bottom of the list of bookmarks in this vast folder until see you the culprit, then right click on that bookmark and open properties and change the line of name at the top of this dialog box.
