  • Air screensavers do not graduate

  • ICloud Photos, Shared folder using for the screensavers on Apple TV

On my new Apple TV, I want to use Photos in iCloud to provide pictures randomly a shared folder as screensavers. When I put in place (following the instructions of the manual) the program apparently caught a selection random, relatively small images of the record (20-30?) and just cycled through these photos as screensavers. The product does not seem to choose from all of the shared folder and does not seem to offer a way to even go back and get another small selection of the folder to provide variety. I can apparently use home sharing and get the new selections in the period and re - select the folder (I could do with my old generation of Apple TV), but it is not apparently possible with the iCloud Photos, shared folder option. It also takes me to have my computer and open iTunes. I had hoped to get around this with the new Apple TV.

    Apple support had no answers.

Is there something that I am missing?

Need not do anything. You can suggest improvements here https://www.apple.com/feedback/appletv.html.

You can uninstall the screensavers directly from system preferences > desktop and screensaver. Click the screen saver tab, then right-click on the file you want to delete, and then select move to trash.

  • New "Air" screensavers?

When Apple announced 4 ATV, they were very proud of the screensavers air and, in my view, said that the new addition. I love them, but I don't remember one being added since the initial batch.

I have defined automatic download, but wonder if it is possible to check if I got them all.

Apple has a list of antennas released?

Is there a setting on ATV 4 where I can see which ones were uploaded?

I do not think, Apple released a list, but you can check this http://benjaminmayo.co.uk/watch-all-the-apple-tv-aerial-video-screensavers

It will not be a way to see what is loaded on your ATV

  • Storage issue on Apple TV (4th Gen) new screensavers download

    Hey guys,.

I couldn't really find an answer out there on a question about storage on the new ATV4.

New screensavers Ariel are impressive. As most of you know there is a new option to download new videos daily, weekly, ect...

Just below it warn you that downloads can take up 600 MB of storage. Considering that I have the 32 GB model, I was curious to see exactly how it works. There is no place in the general settings that show all of the files real screensaver downloaded in order to manually delete to free up storage.

Are replaced by the new, old screen saver because they are downloaded? Or am I earning the 600 MB each day as a new screensaver downloads? If anyone has any info or advice, I would really appreciate it. Thank you guys!

    Happy new year to everyone

Yes, each screensaver is about ~ 200 MB. So if you choose all day every day about 3 new vids are added and 3 yesterday are replaced.  Every month means that you get the same videos every month. There is no 'user management' for storage on the ATV.  It's some people have limits of data and do not want to use their allowance for a change of daily screensaver...

  • Screensavers - cannot save

    original title: screensavers

I downloaded a screensaver from rogerdean.com.  First I ran (by mistake), and then I saved it.  He is now in a compressed (zipped) folder in the documents.  It won't allow me to save as screen saver.  I'm totally lost!  What should I do?

    Hello Lady of the forest,

You should just be able to right click on the compressed folder and select "extract".  The file will then be extracted to the location of your choice.

    I hope this helps.
