Screw access to private data class: concave or not?

I just created (my German translation) in a class of the screws for the access to private data. I refer to these screws, allowing you to connect your class object to a node property to read or write data from the private class. These screws are by default non-reentrant. My question is: what happens if I try to access the two objects of the same class with these property nodes? Must the second object wait the first be read? If Yes, can I work around this by making these screws reentrant?

Kind regards

Marc

Yes the theory. In practice this depends on what you do behind closed doors, the method and the methods that it calls.

  • How to get the name of a class private data controls?

How can I get the names of the controls within a class private data?

I use the framework of the actor and try to create a tha method will be executed when run the actor. This method should an o list all names of control inside the data class to find the initial value within a configuration file (config.ini file), the key to the configuration file will be the name of the control.

    Thank you.

You already do the substitution method just because you write for the bundle by name.  And then how are you going to respond to all types of data might be the key.  You do more difficult things that it takes to really very few benefits.

  • Best way to store instances of class (or at least their private data) in a file for later use?

I've been messing around with this concept for a few hours and have not yet found anything conclusive. I have a system where I want to store instances of a particular class (private data have a 2D array, a 1 d table, some Boolean values, numbers, and a set of strings.) for later use. The goal is to store a table of these classes for customization purposes. I've experimented with palette OpenG configuration file, especially the "read/write formatted article cluster", but I get some strange errors when I change around the private data and try to save the same instance. I thought using flatten XML vi and the wiring of the array of instances followed by reading in a table, but I anticipate similar problems. What other options are there? TDMS? A SQLite database? Should I do a few other split in the very basic types and combine them with the execution having read in? All suggestions/stories welcome.

LV classes are compatible with the Flatten to Unflatten from XML and XML functions. Have you ever tried this approach?

  • Private data LVOOP Parent returned when the child instance created from constant

I created a parent class and child class.  For each of these classes, I created a member who is a builder, whose purpose is to initialize constants for each class and return the instance of the class VI.  I also have an accessor Member VI for each class that returns private data of the class (in this case, a single string for each class).

Private class data Parent 'String' is set to "text Parent" as default.

Private data of the class of the child 'Child String' are set to 'Child text' as a default.

The Parent class constructor works very well.  For testing purposes, I'll be back the text of unbundling of directly the manufacturer VI, as a return of the VI accessor. The Parent constructor starts from a class constant.

However, in the case the constructor of class as a child, if I start from a class constant, unbundling directly private data (using a feature of unbundling by name and choosing "Child String" as the element), I get the private parent data!

If I use the Member of the class of the child VI to retrieve the text, I get the private data of the child.

If I change the constructor from a class of control instead of a constant class, I get the private data of the child.

This occurs only until the child class has existed as a control flag. that is, if I ungroup private data, after the class is returned by any Member VI, I get the private good child data.  Then, of course, something changes once the class 'data' has been a control at a given time.

I'm using Labview 8.6.1, Windows XP

I have attached a small project that demonstrates the problem that I encounter, without actually doing initialization, just read.

Is this expected behavior?  Why does it matter if I start with a constant of class instead of a control of the class?  When you slide the block diagram in the project window, you will always have a constant.

Although I was able to reproduce your problem in LabVIEW 8.6.1, it seems to work fine in 2009.  I could not find a CAR ID, but at this point I can only assume that the behavior was not intended but it is set in 2009.

Let me know if you need me to find more details.

  • User semi-private data

Lets say that you had 100 + sales representatives who do not want their files visible to the other. Then you had 20 + administrators who also have their own private data but can also access some records of sales as well. How would you accomplish this? Do you need to have a separate account for each representative of each Director and sales and if yes, what is the maximum number of accounts that can be of the AAU?

I know that you can create a custom form the query: dDocAuthor < match > "< $UserName$ $>.
However, it is not secure and does not really prevent VRP to access each of the other files.

You could certainly do with the accounts. Other options would be ACL but this is likely to be more difficult.

For example, if administrators we separated by industry or vertical night you have an account as structure

    / END/JSMITH
    / END/FBLOGGS

    / OIL/WKERR

    / TELCO/BJOBS
    / TELCO/PFREELY

    / ADMIN/SJACKSON

    etc.

VRP can be give to 'their' account of the permissions directly, while the admins could be given permission at the level high for example /TELCO

Admins can be allowed their areas/admin

With some information that you have provided I don't know if it's a good way of doing things, but it would work for sure.

I think the big headache's interview with these strctures of certainty. There is no question of having 1000 accounts. The performance hit is only important if users have many authorizations of directly assigned account (which is not the case here).

Do not forget accounts do not have to be predefined and can be somewhat ephemeral - they can just be created checkin time as long as your user permissions allow it. You can use a component of security automatically filter customization grant permissions to an account as /TELCO/ that this would remove at least the need to create loads of built-in accounts and assign user permissions. Otherwise, you can do some clever tricks with cards of credentials to assign account permissions based on groups of users etc.

    Food for thought

  • Access point: access to personal data?

Hello everyone. I have a question: if I share my hotspot iphone with someone, that person has access to my data?

They should not. They are simply connected to your phone as a wifi "router/modem", that is unless they share your Apple (a bad idea) ID or have access to your account.

Firefox search history, cannot be erased when you use the 'Clear privΘes' option in Firefox.
My Firefox app is configured to delete all private data by hitting exit on the main menu, this also has no effect on Firefox's search data.

    Hi jonnassd

This problem has been fixed in firefox 39 for android:

https://Bugzilla.Mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1124884#c15 (a big thank you to jayelbe for filing the bug!)

If you can't wait for ff39 came out in June:

    https://wiki.Mozilla.org/RapidRelease/calendar

You can start testing the fix in PRE-RELEASE (which means that it can have bugs) NIGHTLY build in the next few days (it takes a few days for having trouble making its way into nightly builds, so wait until Friday, February 27):

Data gradually increase when I use firefox, and a response of "suppression of private data" extremely worsens.

By "delete private data", is the removal of really made history?

Deletion of data? What data are you talking?

  • Almost every action triggers alert of error: "BadNPObject in form of private data!"

I just installed version 9.0.1 yesterday. Now, whenever I open a new page or edit an existing one, I get a popup alert that reads:

        [Javascript Application]
Exc in ev handl: BadNPObjecr as private data!

(I guess that means Exception in the event handler, right?)

There is an incompatibility between Firefox and Java, but I don't know what it takes difficulty. I have not recently installed any new plugins or extensions, or other recent changes should have an impact on me. This error only occurs in Firefox and not IE, Chrome or Safari, which are loaded on my computer, an HP Pavilion dv7-3162nr with 4 GB of RAM.

Anyway, what I need to know is: what should I do now to stop this? I hate having to stop using Firefox, but until it's resolved, I have no alternative.

This problem may be caused by an extension (McAfee Site Advisor) that is not working properly.

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

  • Error Msg received on the tab open: Exc in ev handl: error: Bad NPObject as private data!

Very simple - the following error message appears when I open a new tab with a web page or empty:

Please see the solution in http://kb.mozillazine.org/Problematic_extensions

(Windows): for best results, you need to uninstall McAfee Site Advisor from Control Panel > add/edit programs (programs and features). Restart the system. Then http://www.siteadvisor.com/ reinstalling and reboot the system. Installation of other waste (crapware) suggested applications.

Please mark "resolved" a response that will better help others with a similar problem - hope it was her.

  • I get the context menu after using firfox as my browser: Exc in ev handl: error: Bad NPObject as private data!

In the last few days I've been doing the following popup when I use firefox as my browser: Exc in ev handl: error: Bad NPObject as private data!

I guess it comes from your last update. I have windows vista with a 64-bit processor, and I use the latest version of firefox. I checked to see if I was getting the same error message with explore and I'm not. It seems to be some sort of conflict with java script. This can be corrected?

You have to remove and re - install anything. I had the same problem and simply disabled the McAfee Siteadvisor module without deleting. I then restarted Firefox and the problem was solved.

But here's the important part: I reactivated the add-on and then restarted Firefox twice. The problem is not returned!

Just so disable, reboot, re-enable and restart. It worked for me!

  • Microsoft Office Access Runtime and Data Connectivity 2007 Service Pak 2 will not update

The update could not update with no error code, just says 'update failed." However after that restart and check the view of the update the update again must have occurred because it is no longer returns in search of updates.  Thanks for responding to my problem
