  Hello. Anyone know the size and type of the screws from the bottom of the HP Envy 15 t-j000 Quad Edition ? These are the small screws that hold the bottom cover of the laptop basically. Somehow mine fell and it is causing many problems. The tilt is extremely limited to a specific position. Disturb the position of the laptop while it is will cause a weird vibration because of the fan on the left side.

  If someone could let me know what is size and the type of screws used to lower cover , and where I could find them, I would really appreciate it.

  I'm selling my Portege R830-10 q If I want to restore it to the settings to factory (out-of-box state) AND THEN TURN IT OFF.

  I brought the laptop to factory settings successfully using the _TOSHIBA recovery Wizard_ and choosing * factory default software recovery (Recover State out-of-box) *. However, at the end of the process of recovery and after everything is back in place I was not able to TURN off the POWER to the laptop. It only gave me the option to restart. After rephrasing it, the Windows installation process starts.

  I don't want to install Windows, i.e. language, keyboard, user account, etc. I want to leave the Windows installation for the person buying the laptop to me. How can I turn off the laptop after the recovery of the system without having to install Windows?

  When the recovery process is complete and you are prompted for a reboot just press start button / stop and turn it off. I think it's only thing you can do.

  Anyway, why not start Windows and go through the configuration option. New owner can modify this basic anyway parameters. As username Admin and language and the keyboard can be set as default.

  For example, if you have a picture of German recovery set to German. New owner can change in any case.

  My laptop is flaky for some time but now it will not off without using the physical switch. I tried to reinstall Vista, but as you know, during installation Vista must be turn off and on several times to install.

  The first time Vista try to turn off, it crashes until I have to cut the physical switch so can never go beyond this stage.

  -Microsoft disk or Toshiba recovery DVD

  In your case, I would try the recovery disk.

  Maybe you can try another CD/DVD, for example Linux boot disk if you have the same problem.

• East fell off my bike yesterday evening and damaged left hand, angle of body load. How much is it?

  I have a Satellite A200. I foolishly dropped a few weeks ago and a thin strip of metal with L-shaped fins fell out. About 6cm long and 2cm high.

  I asked 2 portable people, but they are not really sure where it comes, they suggested that maybe "that resembles a part of cold air order (check the laptop isn't overheating as it may be part of the sink), or plate earthing of the basic coverage, used to help avoid damage to components in case of short-circuit.

  The laptop works fine, no cracks in the carcass, etc. and does not seem to be overheating, fan works fine. 100%...

  I have a picture of the part (what I could send an email) if anyone needs to see it, help me. I don't understand how he fell!
