What should I do? There is a small green light on the computer indicating that it recognizes that there is a card in there, but not on the monitor. Help?

  Are you sure that the memory card is the correct format for the reader?  It is the most common problem, we see.  In addition, the reader has read the card in the past?

  I'm having a problem with my t2i, where it won't let me install a memory card. I had been using a card Eye - Fi 8 GB Mobi for years without problem.   Looks like the Eye - Fi card left small small pieces inside the camara, causing other cards do not work.

  I used a needle and a can or air to remove. Other cards work fine now, but it seems that this Eye - Fi card is dead. :-(

  I think you should consult your user manual because this type of card is not supported:
  + Memory Stick Duo/PRO Duo and Memory Stick adapter are not compatible with the multiple digital media card slot. Do not insert the Memory Stick Duo/PRO Duo into the slot. Data lost or damaged if you use one card other than those supported. +

  According to the title, my M1 will not read any type of SD card. I'm running the SP2 of XP reloaded from original floppies, and it is fully up-to-date with Windows Update.

  Usually, books are not all sizes of SD card and so you should be sure that the used SD card is supported and compatible with the Tecra M1 card reader.

  But if you are using a compatible SD card the laptop should be able to read/write on the SD card.
  I try to remove the SD card in the Device Manager controller and remove the driver software malfunction. Restart the computer and install the latest drivers again.

  PS: A registry cleaning would be desirable. CCleaner is a great registry cleaning applications

  Thank you, a new memory card sets, I was worried cause I couldn't get to the menu screen. If other people have this happen, say that you can't in front of screens to reformat, a new sd card should do the trick
