When I try to look for someone in the application of people, nothing comes up. For example, if I search for my wife "Mary", it doesn't show any results, even if there are several people by the name of "Marie" in my list of people.

I can't reproduce this. I have my account and LinkedIn contacts Microsoft, and if I search by name I can find matches of two lists of contacts.
This happens for all contacts or only your Microsoft account? If you do a search for a do you still see no results for "a" in the search results page?

Refomatted my computer laptop and reinstalled windows, something does not work now help please
so, I recently wiped my drive hard clean for a fresh start, installed windows 7 but now some of the features that use to work no longer work. For instances when I press F1 and F2 buttons my brightness will not upwards or downwards, I can't lock the touchpad more then now the cursour jumps around. KyleYou must be at Service Pack 3 level before you can use Windows updates.
To determine which service pack is currently installed on your computer, follow these steps:
- Click Startand then click run.
- Copy and paste, or type the following command, and then click OK:
winver
A dialog box displays the version of Windows and the service pack that is currently installed on your computer.
If you haven't already done so, you will need to install the SP2 and SP3 (SP1 note no longer exists).

Installation of Windows service does not work after Explorer 9 uninstallation and reinstallation of 8. I followed several suggestions on this forum, but still no luck. I ran the SFC system twice, who told me he had corrupted files. "Some have been repaired and some might not be." I have Windows Vista Home Premium running on Lenovo laptop. Recently, I cann't open the browser IE, the same panel. I don't have a Vista CD. But I have the product key provided with the laptop. Please, help me to make it fully operational as before.
Assuming that you can always connect to your computer in normal mode:
Run a check of the filesystem to find corrupted files and repair them if possible.
Start button > Search box type cmd > look up, do a RIGHT click on cmd.exe > click run as
Administrator > in this window type cmd black and white, on the
flashing fast sfc/scannow > press the ENTER key.
Note: there is a space between
'sfc' and ' / '.
To sit and wait. It will take time.
When finished, exit the cmd window.
Reboot (restart your computer)After that, check if you can run the computer as well as to access the IE.
