Search index in a table 2D in a range
Hello.
I have two tables 2D (9 x 9) and I would like to find clues of an element that is within a specific range. For example, ±15% of the value I'm looking for. I found and implemented research Array.vi 2D, it works well, but it is possible to configure only one number to search, not a range. So, I'm stuck at this point.
Any help is very appreciated!
Thank you.

Hello
I have a loop 'for' which can take different number of iterations according to the number of measures that the user wants to do.
Inside this loop, I'm auto-indexation four different 1 d arrays. This means that the size of the tables will be different in the different phases of the execution of the program (the size will equal the number of measures).
My question is: the auto-indexation of the tables with different sizes will affect the performance of the program? I think it slows down my Vi...
Thank you very much.
My first thought is that the compiler to the LabVIEW actually removes the Matlab node because the outputs are not used. Once you son upward, LabVIEW must then call Matlab and wait for it to run. I know from experience, the call of Matlab to run the script is SLOW. I also recommend to do the math in native LabVIEW.

What is "windows search indexing" and what good, it is for me? I have 336 files 'indexed '... I don't know where or what they are, or why they have been listed in the first place.
Hi prattdl,
The "Windows Search Indexing" is used by Windows search function, the indexing service makes 'faster' research by creating an index (or list) of all the existing files on the computer to be able to run faster search file, however, in my opinion, the indexing service is not very useful or necessary if you aren't looking for Windows-dependent I suggest to disable if you do not use Windows search.
See you soon ~!

get the index of a table display
Hello!
I have a question. Is it possible to get the index of a current table in the front panel?
I have 2 tables which need to scrool simultaneously to the user, so my idea was to read the index of a table and 'write' on the second.
Can someone give me an idea how to do that?
Thank you
Dear Thiago Bach,
recently, I did (for a similar question) an example on the control to the index of the two tables and bar a scroll, please find the attached VI.
Good luck!

Windows search index how to disable Internet Explorer history & MSOcache
Win XP SP3
I would like to deselect Internet explore history & MSOcache in the search indexer in Control Panel > Indexing Options.
On the selection of control panel > Indexing Options the Indexing Options dialog shows Internet Explorer history as an included location but I can't find a way to deselect.
This place does not appear in the change in the locations dialog. I tried left and do a right click, push all the buttons and so on without result.
I also note that under C: MSOcache selected but grayed out there. If I try to disable the ToolTip message appears "can't deselect because you must first select the parameter" Index this folder for making faster "in the files properties Advanced attributes. For me this counter intuitive: surely the point should not even in the search indexer if this parameter is not defined, and it takes everything first to allow a quick search...? !
See the 'day' above for the answers.

How can I keep Windows Search indexing Internet Explorer feeds and history?
I'm using XPSP3. I tried to disable all the indexing in Windows search and even that doesn't stop Internet Explorer indexing feeds and history. All I want the index is My Documents. How can I keep Windows Search indexing Internet Explorer feeds and history?
Hi Bbran,
You can follow the steps below and check if it helps to delete the browsing history and feeds on indexing.
from Internet Explorer, click Tools and then click Internet Options. On the content tab, in the AutoComplete section, click settings.
b. in the AutoComplete Settings dialog box, uncheck the historic boxes of navigation and feed the completion options, you want to use.
c. to clear web address history or AutoComplete, click the general tab. Under browsing history, click on delete. In the delete browsing history dialog, click the buttons clear forms and clear passwords.
Restart the computer and check if its indexed.
I hope this helps. Let us know the results.

How to program the search indexer to run when it is convenient for ME rather than on the computer
Is it possible to put the search indexer to run only at certain times of the day when I'm NOT at the computer and the constant grinding of my HDD does not bother me? It also tends to cause a lot of heat and make my computer fans to kick in "high speed" which is really noisy.
He plunges me nuts, because it seems to kick when I'm in the middle of an intense operation of the drive, and that slows things down.I can't find it in the scheduled tasks, and only function in time of inactivity is obviously broken. If I can't plan sound at times, can I set it so I have to manually trigger?
Otherwise, just benefits are not worth the aggravation. I always check the Task Manager and resource monitor to see why my hard drive is grinding suddenly like crazy and my disk performance or my system just slowed down, just to see that runnning svchosts or searchprotocolhost.exe or searchindexer.
Yes, you can. I find also quite annoying as well as I use my PC as a media extender, and the impacts of the playback quality when it is used.
Create two files of orders (startindexer.bat and stopindexer.bat)
In stopindexer, type the line
net stop wsearch
In the startindexer enter the line
net start wsearch
Now create 2 scheduled tasks to run the first batch file that stops the service every day at some point. The other for the throw upward at a time you do not use the computer. Point to note. You can run tasks scheduled under the system account otherwise you probably will not have rights to stop and start the service.
It works very well.
