  You can call getMessages() on the FacesContext, to browse and delete (s) you want

  I have not tried, but Google should find you some examples.

  The very purpose of ADFPage has a method

  clearMessages
  
  public Object clearMessages(String componentId)
  
      Clears a messages for a particular component id. If component Id is null then the Global messages are cleared.

  What happens if you start a new conversation with Franny & Dad from the IOW computer do not try to "catch" the conversation

• How to search for a particular word by selecting multiple text files

  I have hundreads of text files and I need to search a particular word in these bunch of txt files.

  How do so by selecting all files and search for the word. I do not want to open each file and search for the word.

  I use Windows 7 here.

  I don't think that we are able to select the files to search, but what you can do, is have all files in a folder that is searched for.  Open a window for the folder that contains the files and use the Windows search box in the upper right of this window.  If you are looking for 'bread', enter:

  content: bread

  At the same time, if you want to restrict the search to the txt files, then enter

  content: bread ext:txt

  Check the examples 6-10 and 6-11 in the vCloud API Programming Guide ("' an Administrative organization network overview").

  Although the 6-11 is abbreviated, 6-10 seems to suggest that the AllocatedIpAddresses element may contain what you are looking for.

• Call hub and display a filtered list of messages in BB10

  I have a requirement for a webworks app I'm building for BB10 display all emails within a certain range of dates for a particular user.  The date range and the user are determined from my application.  Ideally, there would be a way to summon the hub (perhaps in the form of card) and have it display only messages that correspond to the range of e-mail and date of sender I provided.  If the hub cannot be used as a card I would need at least the possibility to request for e-mail messages that meet the criteria and my app to display these messages in a list.  I did a search of the literature and found no indications on how this might be accomplished.

  Something of this nature is possible?  Is there a sample code to show how this could be done?

  However, I am not too familiar with these APIs. People on the native side of the forums may be able to give more information about how to use these, but still require a native extension to enable the feature in WebWorks.

  The priority of implementation of WebWorks is currently the Cordova tools / API. Once the transition is complete, we will see more new API implementation that runs through again.

• Is it possible to get the expression of quick filter above the list of messages in the vertical view?

  I have a fairly big screen so I prefer to use the vertical display (with message pane appears to the right of the message list pane).

  I use quick filters / lot of research in the search for old messages. In doing so, my attention is focused on the message list pane, but to type an expression that I have to drag my focus on the far right of the screen, above the message pane. Logically, this area of the screen should be associated with the message, not the list of messages.

  If a simplistic solution can be available if I ask you if there is a way to customize the location of the elements in the quick filter bar, as I illustrated on the screenshot?

  But I think that the fundamental solution is to make the bar area of quick filter in the list pane message, instead of the current arrangement where it is part of the largest component that contains the message list pane and message pane.

  I welcome any advice on how to solve this problem, for me, or get it repaired for others to share.

  Ah, found the bugzilla database - was looking for link to support the site, but as I couldn't find one, I assumed that this channel has been used on the screen of the excessive defects in bugzilla.

  In any case, a quick search found me https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=592248 - where someone complained the quick filter bar was too short in vertical view and this has been resolved by extending the bar on the top of the message pane.

  I guess that preference will depend on the size of the screen. I will take the question through bugzilla and can provide a patch to satisfy both sides, if I have time one of these days.

• Change of Look/Structure of the list of messages

  So I started just literally using Mozilla Thunderbird to manage several emails. But there's something bothering me since my switch from my previous E-mail: the structure of the list of messages.

  I use Outlook Hotmail for my emails. In Outlook, Hotmail: The messages appear like the image below.
  Whereas, in Thunderbird, it is a horizontal line that looks very cringy and is not as instructive.

  Is there a way to make it look like the approach of Outlook/Hotmail?

  Nope, that was the last attempt of whoever does make it possible on the list for years, was rejected by Mozilla. So it will be years before we get it probably are a replacement for Mozilla XUL should be found.

• Bug: The list of messages is not refresh SOLVED caused by HWA (material assistance)

  I'm using the latest Thunderbird beta chain, v38. I saw it in the stable version string as well, so I thought I would try the beta channel to see if it was fixed, but it wasn't.

  The problem is that the list of messages is not refresh all the time during the passage of the records. If I have one in my Inbox folder, for example, and then select my junk e-mail folder, the message list will not be updated and discount, until I drag my mouse on the list of messages. Then, it will refresh by line that the mouse is in each row.

  I'm on Windows 7 64-bit, with a processor i5 and 8 GB of RAM. Nothing else on my system is slow. This will happen when Thunderbird is the only application running. I also have a skin applied to my user interface. I tried a few different skins, and this problem happens with all of them.

  A second question, I noticed this morning, is that when I got a new email, the entire application seemed to momentarily freeze while for this new email notification was generated. As soon as the notification became visible, the app because sensitive again. Maybe a thread to post here.

  When the Inbox shows a list of messages, I used to have a sign at the bottom of the pane which had a button 'delete', then I could scroll the screen quickly and remove those that I didn't need to read in its entirety, or does not wish to read in its entirety.   F8 activates / deactivates the preview at the bottom panel. When turned on, there is a button "Delete" for the message.

  Click with the right button on a message and convert it into an event or task allows you to lightning. Events have reminders. Tasks are obviously a list of tasks.

  Check if Norton has quarantined to your Inbox.

  It is not a good idea to let your antivirus s/w scan your profile for exactly this reason folder. If Norton has messed with your Inbox your missing messages may have been lost. You have a backup?
