• Cannot use the search feature on the App Store

  Hello

  I have a problem with the search feature in the App Store. This problem only occurs when connected with my Apple ID, everything in the App Store itself works very well. Only when it comes to the search I get an error "the App Store is temporarily unavailable. Try again later. I tried all methods I found online and on Apple's site, including: restarting the unit, check the time and date, iOS is updated, various wireless as well as the 4 G network, signing in and out of the account and App Store refresh method. Unfortunately, nothing has worked so far.

  But if I register the App Store, the search works very well.

  There is clearly something wrong with the App Store.

• iTunes search does

  This is news to me (been a user since 2009 iOS); but the App Store works fine - except the 'search' tab. I did the usual questions - reboot reboot hard, signed on iTunes and common and even delete some applications. The problem still occurs.

  I use the latest iOS on my iPhone more 6 and iPad 2 air; It is not a total locking of the App Store just a mild annoyance of the search for the app.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks.

  If I understand correctly, it seems that there is something doesn't work is not quite right with the search of the iTunes Store app tab. You did a great set of troubleshooting already, and then I would leave the iTunes app:
  

  Force a nearby application on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

  Then restart the phone once more and try again.

  Restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

  If the problem persists, we would then back up your phone to iTunes:

  The backup of your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

  Then use the following article to restore default iPhone. Once, that is, test the app Store iTunes again to ensure that it works as expected.

• Search iPhone settings for "Auto-Lock" does not work

  Does anyone know why the Auto-Lock setting is not to be found when you use the search at the top of the main settings page.

  From time to time, when I'm on a conference call, I like to set the auto-lock on 'Never', so I can leave the visible main phone screen to mute/one-mute the call without having to unlock the phone. I have the memory of a goldfish, so I do not remember that it is in the section "Viewing and brightness" and that is why I use the search at the top of the main settings page field. I would normally enter 'Auto', and it would be "Auto-Lock" for me.

  Since the release of iOS10, the la recherche search can't find this definition more although it still is in the section "viewing and brightness.

  The search for other settings seems to work, but it seems that it is just this one, but I have not actually tried too.

  Any ideas on what is happening and how I could get to find the Auto-Lock in the future?

• Search App Store not available?

  Everything seems to work in the App Store, except the search option.  When I try to look for an app, I get the "App Store not available" message.  It happens on my iPhone and iPad.  Any suggestions on how to fix the error?  I tried the option hard/soft reset already.

I know how it is important to be able to connect to the App Store to make purchases on your devices. Reset is a great place to start. • How can I search in a note?

  Without projector, is it possible to search in a note?  Notes is one of my most commonly used apps, but I'll have to find something else if I can't look inside the Note. Projector only concludes the. It's that contains the text string. I know that every note and the note I want to search for are long and contains often multiple instances of my search string. Same email supports the ability of research and the following search. (The irony, is that the text editor used to create the application has this feature).

• Default search engine & homepage

  I think I have a bug.

  I have my default homepage set to MSN and Google search engine.  Since yesterday, whenever I open Safari, it opens on the Yahoo search engine.  Even when I do a search.  I checked the preferences of Safari and it still says MSN for the Home Page and of Google for my default search engine.

  Unfortunately I don't have time capsule implemented so I don't think I can go back in time and reset for a first date... or can I?

• Search mail does not find messages of before installing the OS 10.12

  Last week, I installed Sierra on my iMac 2011.  Most of the features seem to work well.  There is no: the search for any record in the results of Mail app only in messages based on the date of the software installed.  In other words, none of my archived emails (sent, received, trash, etc...) from before last week can be successfully found by the search.  The same limitations seem to apply to the projectors (or whatever the OS search main application is called) search for e-mail messages.

  This problem has been resolved by the reconstruction of each box mailbox (mailbox > REBUILD) individually.

• 9.0 schedule search in macOS Sierra

  I ve made just the switch to macOS Sierra on my 2014 27 "iMac and not only love him but they were"lucky"so far: everything (apart from a few little niggles in Photoshop CS6) works well. But in the calendar, I have several entries and events dating back to the 1990s that I still sometimes have to find. But rummaging through the won´t calendar show anything more than 1 year away, which is very frustrating! Someone knows how to help me, or is this a limitation of the I´ll calendar just to live with? I like using Mac calendar for its simplicity, clean up the GUI and the perfectly in-sync with my iPhone and Don t want to use a third-party program such as Fantastical or BusyCal.   You need to re-index your Spotlight cache files. Some users have had to re-index the calendar items. However, before you start trying to bugs, if your calendars are synchronized, you can try to remove the addition. System Preferences > iCloud, clear the calendar check box, and then add it again. Give it time to delete files.

  Check first under the Privacy tab in Spotlight. If the boot volume, or any volume where your data resides is listed, remove the. Spotlight will begin immediately the amount of indexing. Check back later and you should be able to find the items in Spotlight.

  HOW DO I RE-INDEX YOUR SPOTLIGHT CACHE FILES

  In the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.

  * Click on the projector.

  Make this mail and Messages is enabled on the results tab of research.

  * Click on the Privacy tab.

  * Drag your player to the list. Wait a few minutes.

  * Remove the item you added.

  * Projector will be re - index the content of the element that you initially dragged to the list.

  Probably not necessary, but I would immediately leave the Terminal and restart your Mac.

  SUMMARY:

  Since the IOS 10 update, I can't find the content of the text message or contact for anything before the day of the update. Is there any solution for this?

  What do you mean when you say 'glad message text search?  Do you mean that since you upgraded to iOS 10 you do not see your previous posts?

• Missing bookmarks in the smart search field in Safari

  Since the release of El Capitan 10.11.6, favorites are missing from the smart search field in Safari to new Windows.  If a Safari any page web (so far), clicking in the search box if poster is Favorites to view icons, as is expected.

  Is this a bug, or can I make some adjustments to bring them new windows?

  Hello Dick Huitema.

  If I understand your message to the right, when you open a new window in Safari, you do not see your favorite icons in the smart search field.  When I use Safari, I always like to have my favorites available and ready to use, so I can understand why you would be tender for assistance with this.

  You probably feel that if Safari is set to open new windows in an empty page. If yours is configured in this way, there is a very easy way to get these favorites icons to show without actually changing any settings. When you open a Web page, you should see a blank webpage with your top search bar and a cursor blinking in the search bar. Instead click inside the search bar right away, click anywhere on the empty Web page and then click on in the empty search bar. You should then see your Favorites icons appear.

  Another option is to set your homepage to your Favorites. You can do it in Safari > Preferences. On the general tab in Safari preferences, select the drop-down menu next to "new windows open with", and then choose favorite. This should ensure that when you open new web pages, all your Favorites icons show immediately. Favorites icons always appear in the smart search field when additional tabs are open as well.

• Search iCal now seems limited to return only 2 years?

  Now the search in the calendar displays irritating results. I can't find more than 2 years of events.

  I hope that's a bug and not as in IOS strategy.

  I have had exactly the same problem since I upgraded to Mac OS Sierra.

  As it happens with my two different Macs, it doesn't seem to be a simple system of a particular Mac problem. I also found a thread in the communities of Japanese support reports exactly the same problem as yours, and so the problem seems to be universal.

  I have already consulted a specialist of the AppleCare support to the Japan and asked for clarification, particularly on whether it's just a bug or a deliberate change specification. I expect to hear from him, perhaps next week.
