  Here are answers to your questions.

  (a) create a web analytics database connection and using a data source for the database connection, you can retrieve data from essbase. You can represent data in charts or spreadsheets, or Favorites.

  (b) you can even create a database for your RDBMS connection. You must have the JDBC drivers on your machine for the same thing. The best report of RDBMS tool is interactive reports (IR).

  I need to create a waterfall chart in the report of WA of Hyperion.
  The waterfall graph must be created for different countries. Each country has 5-7 under him business units.
  Only the Budget values for each business unit needs to be included in the table and the sum of all the business units is the value for the country.

  Although there is no option to select a chart of cascade type, you can manually create a base with a bit of trickery:

  For example in showing the costs and benefits:
  Use accounts as the axis of X, and then on the Y: income - expenses, income, expenses

  Then create a stacked bar chart, using colours as: Rev = green, Exp = red, Rev - Exp = white * it is so to hide it on the chart, you must make sure you have a white background of the graph.

• Oracle Hyperion Reporting & Analysis import question

  We have exported for Reporting and analysis of Oracle Hyperion 11.1.2.0 objects and imported into Hyperion 11.1.2.4 using LCM... Once imported, we checked the balance of migration, and it showed completed. But when we checked under explore, we are able to see the folders of report on the left side, and when we double click on it only opens... Help, please

  Instead of LCM, you can try to export space of > explores

  File > export and select file / report you want to export (make sure you select "All financial Reporting objects")

  try to import them into the right click on the folder where you want to import

• How to publish a report created by the Oracle Report Builder

  My colleague and I have tried to use the Oracle Report Builder to replace our existing report builder of our ERP system. We have already created the report in Report Builder from the suite of development.
  
  What we are looking for is a similar solution such as Microsoft reporting services;
  (1) create models of corporate report
  (2) and then download the template files to a location (for example, the folder on the server)
  (3) then all users in the company can access it through a web browser with a few fields which they can enter certain critiria (e.g. order number).
  (4) then send it to the printer and print out must stand exactly as the model.
  
  
  Unfortunately, we had very hard time trying to find out what it takes and how to publish this report in Oracle we have created. We spent 15 hours on it, but no results.
  
  15 hours we tried to install the 'Oracle' service, but finally, my colleague said that it was not what we are looking for you, "report Oracle service" is used to the error of the hosted application on the server, not to publish the report of company created by the "Oracle report bulider.
  
  
  We use Oracle Database 10 g for the LES quite a long time already. We had setup the Oracle Developer and the installed Application Server.
  
  Could someone tell us please what kind of service Oracle we are looking actually. Other guides any suggestion and installation are also the most welcoming.

  I have a request to set up an ACE30 for Oracle Hyperion using the SSL termination to the (ACE30) SSL offloader.  Does anyone have an example of configuration or a model which could guide me through what should be configured.  We have a lot of applications on the ACE #) but this is the first time we will try SSL termination.

  You posted this in the forum so essbase I'll just down the same, as I did it.

  I'll come back down the road to windows 2003 because it is a supported operating system, XP is not supported even if it may be possible to install it on it.
  In view of that experience have been trying to install 11.1.1 is certainly worth a try to choose an operating system that is supported as a starting point.
