• HP Photosmart Plus B209a-m wireless disconnects once the system is shut down

  I use the HP Photosmart Plus B209a-m on a Dell XPS 16 with Windows 7 64 bit. I have set the printer to connect to the wireless router Belkin isn't on the network. I have setup the printer several times and had it work wireless several times. Once the PC is shut down, the printer goes offline. I have to restart the installation time and time again to bring wireless online. I added the MAC address of the Belkin router and I have the camera had confidence in my Norton Firewall. I keep seeing "HP Network Support Automatic (delayed start)" in services, but by changing it seems to make a difference, I still need to run the installation once after the system is shut down. I see also two printer icons in devices and printers. We're just the Photosmart printer with a generic printer icon; and the second is Photosmart printer, Scanner, copier with a picture of the Photosmart which I believe it should be. I ran the installation at least 10 times and I get a good wireless system work then after that the machine is stopped for the day the printer is offline and do not print. How can I stop the printer goes offline in wireless mode?

  I solved the problem.

  I put the IP address to the MAC address of printers in the router.

  I put the printer to TRUST in the network settings on Norton Security Suite.

  The printer works wirelessly all the time now.

  We redownloaded the drivers for OS X 10.6 on HP website and tried to go through the HP setup assistant.  When we arrive at step 'Select printer' and he takes us into the preferences system to add a printer - our printer shows up, but when selected, we get the following error message: some of the software of the printer is missing.  You may not be able to print to "HP Photosmart Plus B209a-m" Please reinstall the printer. software - and of course, we are not able to print.

  We uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers several times without any effect.  The only way that we were able to print off the computer is if printer sharing is enabled on the other Macbook (with OS X 10.8.2).)  Then, it presents itself as a separate printer and can be used by the old Macbook only if the other is on.  This isn't how it was put in place when we had the two work before.

  What router are you using?  I guess that the 10.8 machine can print correctly?

  Let's start with that on the 10.6 machine: download and install this: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL907

  Restart your Mac.

  Reset the printing system:

  -Go to System Preferences > print & Scan
  -Right (or control) click in the rectangle listing your printers and select Reset Printing System.
  WARNING - This will remove ALL your printers!
  -Select the sign more to add a printer. Select the default tab on the top of the window. Search for the printer, select it, and then beside the dropdown 'Use', select the model of the printer (not AirPrint). Wait for the 'Add' button becomes available. Until it clicks.

  Thank you for your response.  It seems the best answer I got, here or through conversations, HP Solution Center, original install disc, etc.  I saved it in case I have problems in the future.

  My printer seems to work fine now, even wireless scan.  I looked in the start menu and click the HP folder, inside was my printer.  I clicked on that and chose the option to change to wireless USB.  I went into the menu and in the end I pulled out the USB cable and everything seemed to work.  The screens were all as the orig. install screens and he acted as if it was a new printer with options to save my new product HP and the HP etc shop offers.

  After hours I spent on it, the solution was still within my reach.  Not sure I should give congratulations, because I'm not going to try your solution.

  I can't install a driver of hp photosmart plus b209a-metres. The cd and the downloaded version does not reach

  in the middle of the installation in the "application of updates. No error message it simply disappears.

  Stop anti viruses, nothing helps.

  Tried on a 2150us Pavilion dv6 and dv7 1260us windows 7 64 with the same results.

  He settled in "windows 7" (?) compatibility mode, but only a wired connection can be established.

  Installed on a new Mac, no wireless connection either.

  1. Type %temp% term or search programs and files of field

  6. right click on the folder and select copy

  7. close this window and all open windows, and then in the Middle the desktop right click your mouse and select Paste. This will move the 7z folder on your desktop.

  8 open the 7z, that you just copied on your desktop

  9 open the Util folder

  10 open the CCC folder

  11 start the uninstall_L4

  12. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer

  13. run disk cleanup from the tools Accessories\ system under all programs folder

  14. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

  15 open the 7z folder and then double-click the Setup.exe file that will be towards the bottom of the open window. Follow the instructions on the screen to reinstall your printer.

  Whenever I start my Lenovo Win7 PC, the HP Photosmart Plus b209a-m trying to install automatically (even if not connected by USB on my computer).

  This unwanted installation works ever ("fatal error during installation") with the message "-error" "wStub" "66814.

  When I click 'OK', hold the popup "remove software" then 'analysis of installation error logs' begins and clicking on 'Cancel' doesn't help not (results in 'continue' or 'Retry').

  I don't want to use HP Photosmart Plus b209a-m, so how can I prevent automatic installation does not happen?

  Thanks for posting on the HP Forums.

  I want to help! I see that your computer keeps trying to install the printer software.  I recommend you to go to "Add or remove programs" and making sure that all the printer software are uninstalled. When it is finished, run the "Disk Cleanup" and mark all the boxes to remove the folder temp and other junk. Restart the computer and let me know if the message stops.

  I can't uninstall my printers software. I double click on the software of printer dirver. Then, I select "uninstall." Then, I select "uninstall all HP products associated with this device. The software then comes back and tells me that "what will be removed" HP Photosmart Plus B209a-m ". I then "select continue ' and he comes back and tells me that"you must restart your computer to complete the uninstall,

  "Please save all your work and then click on finish, uninstall will end after restarting your computer.

  I then click on 'next' and it restarts my laptop BUT after restarting, nothing happens. If I go through the process again the same thing happens. According to me, there is a file or which prevents the process happening. Any help would be great.

  I read your post about the problems you are having with your Photosmart Plus B209a uninstalling model. May deepest uninstall, try the following steps.

  1. Click Start, type %temp% , enforcement, and click OK.
  2. Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356) (if there is more than one 7z folder, try the newest one).
  3. open the util folder.
  4 open the CCC folder.
  5. run the Uninstall_L3.bat for a HP PC.
  6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer.

  The software should be removed now.

• Photosmart Plus B209a-m installation CD is not compatible with Windows 8.1?

  For the ninth time now, after that some updates from HP that I'm no longer able to use the scan function on the HP Photosmart Plus B209a-m all-in-One printer I've owned for more than two years now.  I tried all the things suggested the HP Support Assistant, including the feature troubleshooting and restarting.  So I took the next step in uninstalling the printer and put it back, eventually.  Or try to reinstall, it is.

  I had a Windows 7 HP laptop when I bought the printer, but now I have a newer HP laptop who initially missed out on Windows 8, but has recently been upgraded (?) to 8.1 Windows.  I was able to install the printer, after that I'm the new laptop under Windows 8.  But when I put the CD is no longer allows me now to proceed with the installation.  Of initial pop-up box tells me to click on 'Install', but the only available choice is "quit".  In addition, it has a red square with a white 'X' in the upper right corner of the popup box.  I have never seen that in any of the previous eight times I had to re - install the printer.

  So now what should I do?

  The original CD was manufactured before Windows 8 or 8.1 have been released, I would suggest downloading the recommended full 8.1 HP here windows driver.

  I have a printer HP PHotosmart Plus B209a-m who do not print... He goes through the motions and makes all the right sounds and then when the book comes out it is empty... It also not directly print from the PC no longer... say a bank starment just for an example... it gives me an erroe message or anything... I checked the acrtridges of ink and even replaced all and always note... someone can help me please... it's printing and passes through requests for printing including all sounds good and I'm not receive error messages and yes I checked the cartridgies of ink and even replaced all the and still not feel like someone could help me please... I unplugged and turned him away and still not printing...

  I'm sorry that you are having problems with the printing of blank pages. It may be a problem with the print head. It needs to be cleaned or goes wrong.

  I see that you can not connect your HP Photosmart Plus B209 computer Mac OS X 10.10. I'm sorry to hear that, but I'm happy to help you!

  Printer was working fine, but recently had a few power outages in 48 hours.  After the second blackout, we noticed that if we tried to copy and print something, what we would have would be a picture or a diagram of a post, for example I tried to print a tax document of our mortgage company.  The pre-printed outline was shaped did print, but the data that have been added by the mortgage company (name, address, etc.) do not have.

  If someone can guide me in the right direction to rectify this situation I would really appreciate it.

  Welcome to the HP Support forum.

  I understand that your printer HP Photosmart Plus all-in-one worked very well until you've had a few power outages. Since the outages, the printer has been printing a ' photo or diagram of a post "where to send print jobs to the printer on your computer Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan. I would like to help with that.

  The first thing we want to do is to test the functionality of the printer without a computer. Try to print a report to ensure that the functions of the printer printer ok on its own.

  

  If the report of the State of the printer print, then we need to look at the software & drivers used by the computer.

  Then I would reset the printing on Mac system. Here is a document of support from Apple that you can use if you need help with that - reset the printing on your Mac system.

  Once the system has been reset you will need to add the printer back in.   My HP photosmart Plus 209 a, m stopped printing black ink. I've had less than a year, and it worked perfectly until last night, when all of a sudden it stopped printing black ink... All other colors work very well. I took all the actions proposed by the HP support site, I have cleaned the print heads, ran the alignments, cartridges has changed twice again (never used anything else than new HP cartridges) and still no black ink. So I searched for an answer outside the HP site and tried all the suggestions, I came across but always without success. I found, however, that there are many people with the same problem but I have yet to find a person who has solved. Please someone help me!

• All-in-one HP Photosmart Plus B209a wireless - printer problems

  I plug just this printer 2 weeks ago and there are already problems! A few days ago, I went to print something a TI never printed, so I checkd the queue and it says the printer is offline. I checked and the 'use printer offline' option has NOT been verified. I googled looking for help offline wireless printer and came across some tips to restart the spool.and then unplug and plug back into the printer, so I did and he went online and I was able to print 1 document of 4 pages. But after this document, I tried to print another document, and it said "error-printing" in the queue. So today, after that I restarted my computer, it worked well again - for a document. Then he returned to offline mode. So I watched fo more help online. I tried making sure the correct port with my printers IP address has been verified and he was, and I tried to uninstall and reintalling the drivers that did not help. I basically tried everyting on the HP support on the topic page and nothings worked. But it peprfectly worked well for a week so I don't see why it would be to have these problems now?

  Also, I tried to print a document 2 faces a few days (before the issuance of all offline). I went to the printing preferences, click on 'manual' under duplex print, then ok, and it printed all the odd pages, as it was supposed to. Then the screen came from promting me to take the paper in the output tray and the tray and click on continue so I did. I waited and waited and waited for a good 10 minutes and never even printed pages. In the queue it sad it was printing, but it wasn't. I cancelled the document and just tried to print a document face a regular to see if this works-it printed fine. So I tried printing 2 - against new and it's the same as before.

  The laptop I am I am trying to print from is a Sony Vaio CR320 running on Windows Vista. I have not instaled anything new in the last week, so I know there are no new program interfering. Also, I have not removed any programs.

  Any ideas? I am a student and I am a little lost without a printer lol :/

  OK, time to bring in power tools.  Download, install and run this tool.  He should tell us what is happening.  Run it when the printer shows offline.

  This printer has had me very confused for a long time now.  When I got to the printer, I have had no problem in his wireless installation and be able to print things wireless.  But after that I had to restore my laptop I had a few problems.  I reinstalled and everything seems to work properly.  When I go in the settings of the printer and look at the wireless connection, he tells me that it is connected to my router, also when I look in my networks on my laptop, I see the printer.  But then when I want to print something wireless it tells me in the HP Solution Center that the printer is offline.  This makes absolutely no sense to me at all...
