See passwords in the credentials manager

How can I see the real credentials of my password in windows 7 manager and not the 8 points (encrypted)?

You can not.  The Manager of credentials aims to facilitate your connections to different web sites, etc., requiring credentials, while at the same time, protect information identification of the prying eyes and eyes.  It was never intended to help remember you the password.

  • Seagate drive in the BIOS but can't see it in the file manager

Earlier this week, I installed a Solid State Drive as my boot drive. It works very well. I want to use 2 TB Seagate that came with my Inspiron 3847 as backup devices (slave) and I also want to take 10 Windows out of it. I can see the drive in device (drive 1) Manager and in the BIOS (SATA 2), but I can't see it in the file manager so I can reformat the drive. This particular model (ST2000DM001-1ER64) has no jumpers to set it as a slave drive. Seagate said it is automatic. I am stuck as to how I solve this problem. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

    Hi ssd user,.

    Happy new year!

There is no such thing as master or slave with SATA drives. Try to go to disk management, search your drive and check if a drive letter has been attributed to it. I suspect that you must select a drive letter, then it should appear in the file Explorer.

  • How update you the Web/API/CLI password in the NSX Manager?

I looked at several places and not seen how change the password to directly access the NSX (and not through vCenter) Manager:

    • NSX 6 Installation and Upgrade Guide.pdf
    • nsx_61_api.PDF
    • The NSX Manager CLI itself (in mode privileged or not)
    • configuration of the NSX in 'Networking and Security' Manager vcenter (a long shot)
    • The NSX Manager web UI

Is there a way to change this?

    It should work with:

    Hi people

I just installed the version of 'LiveCycle ES' trial available as VMWare ESX-Server image (which uses JBoss) and tried to import the ReaderExtensions credentials.

The instructions to http://help.adobe.com/en_US/livecycle/9.0/samples/ServiceUsageSampleReaderExtensionsDynami callyApplyRights.html say that the password of the pfx file downloaded inside the zip http://www.adobe.com/go/reader_ext_cert is written to the text file - I can't find any password in the zipped txt file.

When you use "password" as the password import fails indicating

Uh, the password is in the zip file.

I opened the zip file that you linked and there two files it contains.  A 0007421_Exp_03312011.pfx and 0007421_Exp_03312011.txt.  Open the txt file.  The only thing that it is the password.

  • Second Hard Drive not recognized / climb (but it IS listed in the Device Manager)

I have a HP Compaq DC7800 convertible mini tower running than Win 7 Pro 64-bit

I installed a second hard drive, and while I can see listed in the Device Manager, it is not mounted.

That is to say, it is not in the computer > field at all.

The second hard drive is a Hitachi HDT721032SLA360 ATA Device

Under the hardware ID, it is said: IDE\DiskHitachi_HDT721032SLA360___ST2OA38E

I thought it was a driver problem. Device Manager indicates that it uses the Microsoft 6.1.7600.16385 driver.

I can't find a Hitachi driver for this player. My understanding was that this drive would NOT need drivers.

I have it in the plug of P5 (I think it is P5, it's at the end of the cable with the primary hard drive) and I have a data cable sata from the sata port on the rear of the disc in the slot sata on the motherboard next to the slot in the place where the main in drive is plugged.

The only sites that list the drivers for this drive are all spam (thanks, google) sites.

What I have to change something in my Bios?

    Thanks in advance.

If the drive is listed in the device but not 'computer' Manager, it must be mounted or a new volume must be created. Please see HP - partitioning and names of hard drives (Windows 7) for more information on using the Windows Disk Management Console.

When I reinstalled Vista and applied SP2, I got called the Credential Manager.  I don't like this feature, and I don't want to use it.  How can I disable it for good.

    Hi kay50,

The credentials manager is integrated and cannot be removed from the computer. If you don't want to use it, you can just leave the program as it is without making any changes to the program.

    I hope this helps.

Vista - Windows 7 network connection. username and password is unknown.

    Hello

I just got a laptop with windows 7 on it and I want to connect to my other PC for it, they are on the same network through a router. the PC can see and access the laptop without asking for a user name and password but the laptop cannot access the PC because it asks me a username and password that I don't know.

If someone could answer this question, it would be great.

    Hello
    Maybe this can help.

Win7 when configured on the peer-to-peer network has three types of configurations of sharing.

Group residential network = only works between Win 7 computers. This type of configuration, it is very easy to entry level users to start sharing network.

Working network = fundamentally similar to previous methods of sharing that allow you to control what, how and to whom the records would be shared with.

    Public share
= network Public (as Internet Café) in order to reduce security risks.

For the best newspaper of the results of each computer screen system and together all computers on a network of the same name, while each computer has its own unique name.

Make sure that the software firewall on each computer allows free local traffic. If you use 3rd party Firewall on, Vista/XP Firewall Native should be disabled, and the active firewall has adjusted to your network numbers IP on what is sometimes called the Zone of confidence (see part 3 firewall instructions

    General example, http://www.ezlan.net/faq.html#trusted
Please note that some 3rd party software firewall continue to block the same aspects it traffic Local, they are turned Off (disabled). If possible, configure the firewall correctly or completely uninstall to allow a clean flow of local network traffic. If the 3rd party software is uninstalled, or disables, make sure Windows native firewall is active .

If you have authorization and security problems, check the following settings.

Point to a folder that wants to share do right click and choose Properties.

    In the properties

Click on the Security tab shown in the bellows of the photo on the right) and verify that users and their permissions (see photo below Centre and left) are configured correctly. Then do the same for the authorization tab.

This screen shot is to Win 7, Vista menus are similar.

The Security Panel and the authorization Panel, you need to highlight each user/group and consider that the authorization controls are verified correctly.

When everything is OK, restart the network (router and computer).

    * Note . The groups and users listed in the screen-shoot are just an example. Your list will focus on how your system is configured.

    * Note . There must be specific users. All means all users who already have an account now as users. This does not mean everyone who feel they would like to connect.
