  • Seeing supply is always lighting even if Satellite L645 is off

    Sorry, but my question:
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=65758&TSTART=0
    has not responded.

This problem appears regularly. And after you disable it is two ways to solve it.
    (1) forced disable buy pushing disable button for 1 min.
    (2) remove the battery and the AC adapter / CC.

But when I turn off my laptop next time, this problem will appear again periodically.

What can be the cause of my problem?

I ve never faced this problem and, unfortunately, I can't give you an appropriate response. By browsing this forum I also didn t find a similar problem so my advice to you is to contact Toshiba service and ask for help. There must be some problem with electronic control gear.

I can't imagine that something else can be responsible for this.

  • L50-A-10 q satellite: Win8.1 Pro Wi - Fi status LED does not

    Hello

I have a laptop Toshiba L50-10-to-10 q running BIOS Version 1.30 and THIS Version 1.10.
I've recently updated to Windows 8 for Windows Pro 8.1.

I followed the update instructions found on the driver download page.
All modules (Wifi, Bluetooth, etc.) and the function keys work just fine.

However, the status LED does not work correctly.
For Wifi, the status light is always off, even when the Wifi is turned on and connected.

The State LED to the touchpad is also always off, even when it is disabled.
SEEING supply and load indicator work fine.
All the State LED worked correctly before the 8.1 update WIN.
Is there a solution for this problem?

    Kind regards

    Niko

Why you n t trying to update or reinstall the driver Intel WLan and driver of Toshiba system yet?
Since this procedure has allowed to solve the problem of touchpad and I guess that that would solve the problem with the WLan light too.

  • Chromebook 14-q010dx HP: HP Chromebook 14 does not illuminate

My HP Chromebook 14-q010dx (Chrome OS) is no longer powers on reliable after being arrested. Fresh thin battery, but Chromebook that occasionally feed after that be closed. I see the same behavior on a fully charged battery or connected via adapter/charger to power outlet. Seeing supply on the left side of the laptop comes on briefly when the Start button / stop is depressed, but usually immediately turns off and the system does not turn on. Occasionally, the light stays on and start system as it should, but it seems to take more supply tent to hit the power button (20-50 attempts, perhaps, over a period of a few hours) to get a reaction. I no longer dare it turned off, fearing too big a bet that he can never turn again. The laptop is 11 months old.

The battery is not removable on this model.

I have no external device connected to this Chromebook. None of the troubleshooting steps posted solve my particular problem. I tried the remedy suggested reset (holding down the buttons refresh and power), but which have resulted in no change in behavior. I saw all the other suggested fixes suitable for this model.

Can I fix it myself, or should I ask for warranty repair?

    Hey @Kmarg ,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand you are having problems starting your Chromebook 14.

There is not much you can try about these types of problems, since they are usually hardware related. If you get no response from the power button, the only thing I can suggest is to contact support phone for service options.

What is this with one offers advanced service? If so, have you set a resource custom (in the tab "Advanced Services")? As far as I know, you need to set your virtual machine as your workflow provisioning of vCO output. Once you have done this, go to your Service plan in vCAC (in the tab "Advanced Services") and set the resource "provided" your Service plan your new custom resource. Once I did, the virtual machines began to appear in the tab 'Éléments', but under an option to separate menu on the left under 'Machines' in your p2.png image.

I'm not aware of any other solution. You can contact your e-mail provider and ask for help on configuring IMAP. They sometimes step by step manuals (or Web site) that will guide you in the process. I think this should be your best option. Check on your email provider's website if they have a help Web site or simply type in Google the names of suppliers and IMAP.

  • Compaq Mini 110: Polarity of power supply jack

    Hello

I have a HP/Compaq Mini 110 that was given to me because both the battery and the AC adapter was lost. I have a power supply of the correct voltage (19 VDC) and can get an outlet of the right size. I need to know what the polarity of the plug must be, for example, is the center of the end positive or negative? I also need to know if the computer will be also powered if one battery (even dead) is not installed. If it will power-up with the polarity a/c adapter, I'm going to buy a battery, otherwise I don't lose money. Shame on HP/Compaq to not show a pictorial of polarity on the camera body. If I can get going, have enough moxie upgrade to Windows 10? Thank you.

See p. 54 on the hard drive. She straight plug the motherboard, but it shows a cart or make sledding which does not move there and the SSD is welded to a SATA connector. For some time I took one of these apart.

He's a regular SATA and the size limit, it's what is on the market, not the hardware, so you could theoretically install a 2 TB or a 2.5 inch SATA SSD. You could probably get one inch 80 gig SATA SSD 2.5 for a pittance and it would run as well as he is capable of running.

The memory you have is DDR2-800, but the system he clocks up to speed DDR2-533.

The power Jack is soldered to the motherboard and there is no way I know to stretch upward. A lot of youtube videos on the welding on a new jack and you can find the plug for a few dollars. It is not a work that I do, but I saw several times and I think you can probably manage it if you have the soldering equipment.

  • Z640: Upgraded the video card to 1070 GTX. I have to upgrade power supply?

It requires care supply 2 x 8 pins and adapter I installed is not always able to provide enough power. HP chat support wasn't any help. Do I need to install a new power supply that provides power sheets 8 pin pci-e?

    @MacTheSteve, welcome to the forum.

This is Service and Maintenance Guide for the workstation.

I contacted StarTech to see if they would have an adapter 'Y' which had two 8-pin power connectors.  However, those that they should be the following on your motherboard or the power supply:

StarTech Brandon: basically, there are 4 SATA power or LP4 molex.

I believe that your diet is enough power, but simply do not have the required connectors.  At least, I don't the seen on the diagram of the motherboard.  It seems that you need to upgrade the PSU.

    > Do you have an idea on how to fix this?
If the battery and the mains adapter are ok, while a single problem can cause this: faulty motherboard.
Maybe there is something wrong with the electronic power supply on the motherboard.

Of course this is only my personal opinion, but I put t see any other reason for that

  • Seeing orange blinking after that stop with the charger connected.

    Hello

I'm new here and I have the following problem.

Four months after buying the PC (Satellite-Z930-103) I had a battery problem. Suddenly the orange led blinking and the laptop could not be launched. Toshiba service replaced the battery and everything worked fine for about two months. Then the same thing happened again. Because I was working in China, I opened the laptop and disconnected the battery and can be used with the charger connected.

The PC was sent to a point of service when I arrived at home, where they still indicated a battery problem and offered to change the battery. Because the warranty was expired, I had to pay for it. I refused, because the price they were charging was 300 euros.

To the surprise... when I received it from the point of service, they have reconnected the battery and the service report said "computer does work well, no fault found '...

Since I started my fight with Toshiba support and tried to find me a solution. However, the problem was not resolved until today and I have to disconnect the battery and plug it in again after waiting a day every time I forgot to unplug the charger when the shutdown or when he goes into sleepmode) I became an expert at opening and closing of the laptop...

In any case, maybe someone has the same problem and found a solution, I suppose that it may be a software problem, but Toshiba has not solved until today.

To describe the problem even once:

Orange (power) led starts flashing as soon as the computer is powered down (or "standby mode") with the charger connected.
If this happens, I opened the laptop and disconnect the battery (so I can work with feeder pugged in)
Then the next day I open the laptop again and re-connect the battery. It works fine until I still forget to unpug the charger, turn off or restart the laptop.

I'm guessing it's a problem of software and a few simple arrangements or a re-installation of something, it can be solved.

Because I travel a lot, I love the little thing but I got frustrated at the moment.

It would be great if I'm right, and someone already had this thing resolved!
    THX advance for any help!

    Peter

Satellite Z930 is very nice machine designed for mobile use and I am really sorry to hear that you have such problems. I imagine that you can't find some identical threads on this forum so I hope this isn't a "general problem" with this machine.

I am not a technician but I can't imagine this problem described has something to do with the settings of the software. In the BIOS, you cannot change a large part and in windows, there is a standard Windows power settings and several Toshiba avancΘs.
Electronic power placed in the motherboard has a few 'standard' functions and switch automatically between battery and power running.

I can't say for sure, but I guess there must be some problem with electronic power supply. It is not easy to say what the problem is here, and I really wonder that Toshiba service provider was not able to identify the reason why all this is happening.

Let's see what the other members of the forum think problem described.

  • cannot fine internal power supply form new sound card

Just installed the asus xonar dx card in my slimline s5670t office. The problem I have is that I can't find the power supply 4 pin I need on the mobo. Can someone help me?

Here are thespecifications of the motherboardof your PC.

You probably need to look for a connector 4-pin molex or floppy disk which cuts off the power supply.  If your don't see a spare connector, then you will need an adapter for the splitting of a molex connector or even disable a sata power connector.  Look carefully at the power cable goes on the hard drive.  That's where you could try a power cable Y splitter.  www.Newegg.com has probably want you need.

Maybe thisadapterwould work.  I can't tell if the connector is good to type the disk sata for power or if the cable lengths are long enough.

  • Market with power supply is not possible on the Satellite M60-167

    Hello

I'm sorry for my English saw. I have a problem with my Satellite M60-167. When I have connected the laptop with power supply and press the 'Power', then does'nt start Notepad.
When I use only the battery and push a lot of times the "Power Button", that the laptop will be started.
Question: It is a problem of material or not. This laptop that I bought it in January 2006.

    Can you help me?
Thank you very much for your theory.

    AX.

    Hi Axel

My theory is that there may be some problem with button / stop himself (white metal under the button), or perhaps with several Planar cable wire.

Also, for me it is definitely hardware problem. If you want, you can contact the partner of service allowed in your country and see what they have to say about it.

  • I3 4130 map graphics and Power supply

Hey guys, I have an i3 4130 with 8 GB of ram,

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c04119419

Of course, this processor and ram are good for the game, as I have seen online videos of people playing bf4 and crysis 3. I also want to play these games and cs: GB and dirty bomb and dragon age.  I don't really like playing high heat, the middle is fine for me.  I really want to get a r9 x 270 BC, they are in a large part to the best buy right now.  I will also buy a 650W power supply to go with it. My boyfriend is a geek and can install it for me. I took action, and I can fit such a graphics card or the gtx 660, in my case. [cards that are 10 x 4]

However, I saw in another post that my motherboard has a connector 4-pin. Is this bad? The website says that my motherboard can support up to an i7 uprade!... So why not other new powerful pieces such as a GPU or a power supply.  I get that HP does not have computers for games. Why would they do a motherboard that can run an i7, but not an equally powerful GPU. I get that HP does not have the gaming PC, but those of office. However, it is the PC in my family study, so I'll try to make it work.

Another way is for ma to get the GTX 750, because this card has a minimum required 300w power supply.

    http://www.Newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16814487024

However, a person in another forum said that HP uses cheap power supplies and will not have enough tension on the 12v rail. is this true?  If this way works, I definitely don't go this way as it is easy... also no need external with this map of power cord. However, if my power supply does not have enough Volts on the 12v rail, so I'll just take the graphics card I want and needed food.

It's really frustrating me because I played some very old games [rtcw, and] with friends on teamspeak at night and my integrated graphics card could handle, but now they are turning on modern games that I can't play and I reallly want to understand this before you go and spend a lot of money. Thanks for any response.

    Andrew, welcome to the forum.

A: I definitely recommend that you try the EVGA GTX 750 Ti.  I read a lot of good things about it.  It does not all the connectors extra power on the power supply.  Regarding the PSU in HP computers is lousy, the fact is that they install the power supply that is compatible with the OEM components.  Even if their computer can be upgraded, they design that enable out of the box.  You can try with the current 300W PSU, but if it does not work, I suggest you buy a power supply at least 500W; 600W would be even better for futute upgrades.

However, a person in another forum said that HP uses cheap power supplies and will not have enough tension on the 12v rail. is this true?  If this way works, I definitely don't go this way as it is easy... also no need external with this map of power cord.
