  Hello Papastew10, I don't think it's something that makes Windows Vista.  Sounds like that, it's something controlled by Mumble, so there should be some options for that somewhere.  If not but you might be able to substitute by right click on the speaker icon in the system tray and choose Open Volume Mixer, try to adjust the volume of World of Warcraft from there.   First of all, most of the people who respond on this forum is not related to Microsoft.  Unless the machine is identified as a "Support Engineer" or "Microsoft moderator system" or similar, he or she is not employed by Microsoft.  Thus, one who you "connected direct to" was not one of our "associates".

  MRT.exe is the Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool.  A new version of this tool is included in the critical updates each month on "Patch Tuesday" (the first Tuesday of the month).  It must run once - at the time download you - where and then be dormant for the rest of the month, except if you manually start upward.

  Apparently, the nameless person with which you handled has not well understand this.

  MRT.exe does not run continuously.  If so, something is wrong.

  MRT.exe should be located in c: Windows\System32.  If she is not there, look for your entire drive, making sure to check the search options "Search system folders", "search the hidden files and folders" and "Search subfolders".  If you find MRT.exe somewhere other than C:\Windows\system32, it is probably malware masquerading as the real Malicious Software Removal Tool.

  Everywhere where you find it, delete it.  You can download the latest version of the MRT here.

  I also suggest you analyzing your system with free MalwareBytes Antimalware and SUPERAntiSpyware.  Be sure to update both scanners before their execution.

  If, after you remove MRT.exe, you get an error at startup complain that MRT could not be found, download and run Autoruns.  Click the 'Connection' tab and look in the column 'Image path' the MRT.exe.  If it is not displayed in the connection tab, click the "all" tab and use the file > search tool.  A characteristic of the search of Autoruns tool is that you must move the selection under the element line "found" before you "Find Next."  Once you find the entrance with MRT.exe, delete it.

  I had an event going on with my pc for the last month and really at a loss to understand.  My system is built auto, a motherboard Asus P5b Deluxe with an Intel E5700 3.0 ghz Dual core cpu, disk SATA 1 250 gig than C: and a 250 gig disk storage media, a DVDRW SATA and IDE DVD/CD-RW IDE, 2 x 2 GB 667 Kingston memory dual channel and a PNY GeForce 210 video card. About a month back, the PC would crash to reboot and then go into a loop of reboot of power, showing the version of Geforce and a POST beep, then restart again the same thing over and over again. Sometimes I also hear alarm overheating of the CPU, but it was never overclocked. I replaced the power supply, inmates of each party, including the central unit (with a 2.4) and tested all the ram and the disk on another system. I deleted the c drive and installed Windows 7 Profession, service pack 1 64-bit (I had been running Win7 pro 32-bit since August of the year without problem) and I got about 1 week of trouble-free operation, but now it's happening again. Sometimes I get an operating day, today is only an hour or two, even if it seems now stable without all running applications. The PC is returned in the loop of reboot a few times, but after about 6 loops seems to recover. I have updated the drivers for the video card and that you have flashed the BIOS to the latest version a few times now. Ive looked in the case of newspapers to try to see what it could be, but really happened my level of knowledge. Can anyone give me any direction, what to look for, I could run or test reports I could try to understand this please? I feel that I discarded all hardware problems I can so I'm really only now start to see things like a software problem. Accidents seem to be more frequent in 3D applications, however, 3dsMax and Second Life, well it still restarts just out of nowhere also.

  I have Windows Vista Business, sp1 on my new Acer Veriton 1000 computer at work.  A very annoying problem has occurred: programs automatically exchanging places on the taskbar.

  When I started working, I always open the programs in a spesific order.  This makes my job go quickly and efficiently.  But now, after working for a while, programs suddenly going command on the taskbar.  Once this is done I opened programs hurt all the time, it's funny how blocked one get into old habits by moving the slider to the place on the taskbar where you know that your program is supposed to be...

  It's very boring, and nobody knows what is happening.  I asked a lot of people with data skills, but none can give me the solution to get rid of the automatic order changes.

  We will ask you to check whether this situation is linked to a corruption in your profile user or something else. We can remove the test account once we have completed the troubleshooting steps. Here they are again for you to try:

  Open user accounts by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking user accounts and family safety, then clicking on user accounts.

  Click on manage another account. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  Click on create a new account.

  Log out and log in to the new account.
