Select calculation fields

It won't let me choose the fields for the calculation

Use the space bar or click a little out of the center of the box to select or

deselect a specific item in the list.

This is a known bug in Acrobat that Adobe has not yet resolved

  • 'Select calculation fields', uncheck the boxes.

    The only way I can get them to check is with the 'select all', which is obviously not useful... and I can't uncheck either. Thus, they are frozen. I tried a second time after the deactivation of the touch screen, but no luck. Software problem...

    You can use the space bar to toggle checkboxes and the tab key to access each. On some systems, this happens for some reason any. Some people have success by clicking near the boxes.

  • I cannot select the names of the fields calculated field options. When I try to use the simplified field Notation: change, there is no "OK" button after typing my calculation. Why I don't see these features. I have Adobe Acrobat XI - v11.0.13

    I have Acrobat XI and I'm not able to create calculated fields. When I use the value matches the section, then click on choose to select the fields, it does not select unique fields. I can click Select all or deselect all the... but that's all. So I tried using the simplified field notation and click on modify... the Java script box opens. I can type the script... but there is no options down to say OK or cancel. I don't see any of these options. Why I use this feature?

    To select a single item from list click on it and then press the SPACEBAR.

    The other question is very strange... Try to run a repair installation.

  • Impossible to select the fields in Acrobat Pro XI tools/editor of formulas to calculate

    First of all, in the form Acrobat Pro XI during an attempted editor calculate fields, I don't and then select the fields (click), to calculate.  I can only just select or deselect all.

    Also, if my simple spreadsheet formula is:

    =IF(Value01> 0,SUM(Value01* (Value02-Value03)),"")

    Is there a simple way to translate this formula in a calculation script in the form Pro Adobe Acrobat XI (or FormsCentral) tools?

    Thanks for any input.

  • Irregular behavior with calculated fields

    A new program,

    I am working on a form with a great many digital fields.

    These fields are used in a series of calculations

    A point - the first subtotal calculated field to a column of numbers

    Point two - the second calculated field subtracts a column of numbers of this total part-time

    .....................

    Item 3 - the third field calculated is titled the four columns of totals like that above.

    Article 4 - the last calculation is the total above, divided by four.

    A simple calculation is used to enter this total at the beginning of the next page and so on throughout the form.

    The problem is that sometimes I added figures to the agenda one, the number does not always update to the point four right now. I have to kind of jimmy with the entries a bit. ITIS as the totals column is late by a single entry.

    I also have a number of questions when returning back and remove entries.

    Any thoughts on what I am doing wrong?

    Steve

    You must set the order of computation of field for what makes sense for your form. In Acrobat 9, go into editing mode and select the forms: forms > edit fields > set field calculation order

    It's something else under Tools > forms in Acrobat 10

  • calculation fields do not work on the web

    I created a pdf to a word doc form.  I tested it and all fields of computing work very well, but then I'm going to post on our Web site and all calculation fields do not work.  The formatting in the field appears as well, which means that when I created the form to fill out that I made the fields of theses to represent a monetary unit (e.g. $5.00) and when I post on the web it appears simply as a number (5) and nothing in this column adds up.

    Any suggestions?

    No, you can't get them to work on any browser. Chrome has the most support for PDF and JavaScript forms, but it is not as comprehensive as Acrobat/Reader. Consider educate users to directly open the form in Adobe Reader.

  • Calculations on calculated fields BAM 11 g

    Hello

    We have the following problem. We have created the following data object to follow our process:

    ProcessID StepName Duration

    1. validate 10

    1 process 50

    1 SaveInDB 100

    2 validate 20

    2 process 30

    2 SaveInDB 110

    3. validate 15

    3 process 45

    3 SaveInDB 85

    We are able to create dashboards that show how to take each process by adding the duration (AMOUNT (DURATION) Group BY ProcessID. But we cannot create dashboards that show the average length of a process, the fastest or the slowest process. Something like AVG (SUM (DURATION) Group BY ProcessID). Is it possible to create calculated fields that summarize other calculated fields?

    Best regards, Nicolas

    After you open an SR with Oracle it is not possible to do what we expected. We have defined a new data object that stores the length of the entire process as a solution, and then we can use it to get the AVG, MAX, and Min the process duration and not only its not.

  • Delete zero balances in calculated fields and zero decimal points

    Hello

    I found the right java script to remove the balances of zero in calculated fields, but also, so I have to remove the two decimal points.  Can I work on what I need to add and where in java script so that it works?

    Thank you

    Nicole

    If you don't want to show any decimal places, this means generally that you want to round down to an integer. To round to the nearest integer, you could modify a single line of script in the Format:

    AFNumber_Format (0, 0, 0, 0, "$", true);

    and the same for the script of the hit. Note that this does not change the actual value of the field, it doesn't change what is displayed in the field. This is important if the value of the field is used in a calculation or exported, since it won't be the same as what is displayed. To change the value of actual field to round to an integer, it is usually best to use a custom validation script.

  • How can I create a PDF form that contains data fields and calculated fields?

    Hello, I need to create PDF forms that has

    -Fields that are read from a MS SQL Server database, once the user enters a field other fields must be read from an underlying database

    -Calculated fields

    what PDF forms product supports this? Once this file created is also filling end-user which form has any kind of special licenses, otherwise he will be able to fill this with Adobe Reader?

    You need to expand the PDF form using Adobe LiveCycle Designer if you want to be able to connect to a database.

    And Yes, it should be possible to use the file in Adobe Reader after that.

    For more questions on LCD forms are trying this forum: LiveCycle Designer

  • Have calculated fields appear white instead of zero

    So I have a calculated field 'Price Total 1', which is the product of the "number 1" and "price unit 1".»» Unit price and Total are the currency and quantity is a number. I put in a script validation as follows:

    if(event.value == 0) event.value = '';

    He strives to remove zeros when the pdf file is loading, but I have another question later. As I begin to fill in the values, updated with zeros, I didn't want to appear. An example is provided:

    test.png

    I want prices Total remains empty until the quantity and unit price are filled. And of course, I don't want Total price 2, 3, 4, etc. to have zeros happen when they are not met.

    There's your problem... Chrome uses its own internal PDF Viewer that has

    problems with it comes to scripts and form fields. Do not open the

    in Explorer but save and open in the local application

    instead.

  • Trigger a calculated field to display the different fields

    I have a calculated field (rate) that is used to calculate a total value if the quantity field is exceeding a certain amount would then display one of the 2 hidden fields, but I don't know how to trigger the amount field code

    Here are a few examples. They would go in the event your amount field calculate

    Say there is a threshold of $5,000 for the field to be visible.

    if (this.rawValue > 5000) field1.presence = "visible";
    else field1.presence = "hidden"; //to rehide if the amount drops below your threshold.

    If there is a second threshold for the another hidden field like $2,000 for Field1 and 5,000 for the Field2.

    if (this.rawValue > 5000) field1.presence = field2.presence = "visible";
    else if (this.rawValue > 2000) {
      field1.presence = "visible";
      field2.presence = "hidden";
    }
    else field1.presence = field2.presence = "hidden";

    Hello Hawker,

    This is an example, how you can filter based on the formula column. I don't know exactly where you would use. And other related issues.

    Give the idea and example how you can start.

  • You will have to jump the calculated fields in a form rather than to stop them.

    I created a nice shape with the calculations of totals and subtotals.  However, when you complete the form, Adobe stops to calculated fields as if I had to do an entry in each. I want to jump over the calculated fields.  Is this possible?

    Set them read-only.
