Select sysdate time

Hi Experts,

I concatenate a date (not sysdate) with the time system and save it in a column with the data type Date...

So, I tried like this...

SELECT

TO_CHAR (C_DATE, 'DD-MON-YYYY')

|| ' '

|| TO_CHAR (SYSDATE, ' HH: MI: SS PM "")

FROM DUAL;

But while you insert the result of the query above in my table, it throws error like this...

ORA-01830: date format picture ends before converting all of the input string

Is it possible to achieve...

Thanks in advance.

Hello

The | operator produces a string. Do not use a string as a date; Use a DATE. For example

INSERT INTO new_table (c_date)

SELECT TRUNC (SYSDATE) + (c_date - TRUNC (c_date))

Of ancienne_table;

Try using the name of the table.

SELECT SYSDATE,dual.* FROM dual;

Or you can use a table alias.

SELECT SYSDATE,d.* FROM dual d;

• How to make a list of dynamic selection with time interval of 15 minutes

Hi all

I have a question. I need a selection list containing the time with 15 minute intervals from 08:00 until 16:00.
example 08:00
08:15
08:30
08:45
09:00
09:15
and so on until 16:00
Or values stored in a column of varchar type.
Can someone help me with this one please?

Best regards
Caroline

You can generate the entries in a dynamic way, as:

select  to_char(trunc(sysdate)+8/24+(level-1)*1/96,'HH24:MI') period
from    dual
connect by level <= 33

or if you want/need to use your stored values:

select display_column, return_value from table where
display_column in (
select  to_char(trunc(sysdate)+8/24+(level-1)*1/96,'HH24:MI') period
from    dual
connect by level <= 33 )

• LAST_UPDATE_DATE audit column (sysdate times)

Hello

I have an interactive report + page of form on a table (with the attribute called LAST_UPDATE_DATE). I am populating this column by using the element in the form of
TO_DATE(SYSDATE, 'DD-MON-RRRR HH24:MI:SS')
But this action fills the release date: 23 / SEP / 09 12.00.00.000000 AM, the time being still, 12.00.00.000000 AM

Tried workaround solutions:

1. Instead of TO_DATE(SYSDATE, 'DD-MON-RRRR HH24:MI:SS'), I used the expression
TO_DATE(TO_CHAR(SYSDATE, 'DD-MON-RRRR HH24:MI:SS'), 'DD-MON-RRRR HH24:MI:SS')
which works fine when executing directly in DB.
2. Altering the session by : alter session set nls_date_format = 'DD-MON-YYYY HH24:MI:SS';
I'm still facing the same problem. Help, please.

Thank you
Mary

Good then build something hidden with the default value being generated by:

• I have an attached external hard drive, I selected through Time Machine. But Time Machine also save the hard driver separately?

I have an external hard drive attached I selected through a Time Machine, I found in the system preferences. Is - this time Machine even save the documents that I have on the hard drive? In other words, I want to be sure I have two back ups until I upgrade of the OS,

• Network drive cannot be selected in Time Machine, but works in the Finder

Hello

I have a NetGear wndr4500v2 router in which I now have my 1 TB HD plugged (HFS formatted). I've always used this drive for backups TM via the USB in my MBP, but decided it would be good to have all it wireless. Unfortunately I was not able to select the player in Time Machine.

-I cannot connect / to connect/change player/server and all of its files in the Finder, no problem

-Already played a bit with SMB and AFP sharing settings

-Tried with router via an ethernet cable connection

-NetGear Vaucluse to Time Machine support

-Of course restarted devices

-I run El Capitan on a 13 "MacBook Pro 2012

All this with no result. I have not yet tried to do the old-fashioned way (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VwHGSHSnDk) as I was hoping for an easy solution and beside that, I'm not sure that this guide still works on OSX 11 all thoughts about it, guys? Let me know!

A device third-party network attached storage (NAS) or a router is unsuitable for use with Time Machine, especially if it's your only backup. I know that's not what you want to hear. I know that the manufacturer declares that the unit will work with Time Machine.

Apple has published a specification for network devices that works with Time Machine. No third party provider, AFAIK, does meet this specification. They all use the application of Netatalk incomplete, obsolete Apple Filing Protocol.

Apple does not endorse any device third-party network for use with Time Machine. See this support article.

Network backup, use as destination an Apple Time Capsule or an external storage device connected to another Mac or a 802.11ac AirPort base station. Only 802.11ac base stations support time Machine, not older model.

Otherwise, use Time Machine at all. There are other ways to save, although none of them are nowhere near as effective or as well integrated with OS X. I don't have a specific recommendation.

If you are determined to continue to use the device with Time Machine, your only remedy for any resulting problem is the manufacturer (who will blame Apple, neither you nor anyone else but herself.)

• I would like to add a drop down menu allows me to select a time.

I am new to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC so forgive my ignorance. I use this program in Windows. I would just add a dropdown menu to my form to fill out so that I can choose a time in military format. I know it must have a simple solution then I thank you in advance for any help you can give.

What exactly is the problem? Create a drop-down list field and add all items

you want to have... If you want to than every minute to be selected I

recommend you use two fields, one for the hour and the other for minutes.

• A neighbor's wireless network is more powerful than mine, so my MacBookPro selects every time. How can I eliminate the network of neighbour from the airport to the research?

Wireless network from a neighbor is always "found" by my Airport first, then my MacBook links to it. But I want to find my own network, of course. Question: How can I remove this neighbor of the network function research network? Is it still possible? In other words, I want my laptop to ignore this network around when I wake up from my laptop.

On your Mac laptop...

Open the preferences system (gear on the dock icon)

Open network

Click WiFi on the left panel to select

Click Advanced in the bottom right of the window

Here you can see the list of networks that 'remembers' your laptop and connect to the network at the top of the list first. If you want the laptop to connect to a specific network, click the network name to highlight, and then drag it to the top of the list.

Now, click to highlight a network that you do not want your laptop to 'remember', then click on the - (less) button at the bottom of the list to remove the network. Do the same for other networks that you no longer need.

Click OK at the bottom right of the window

Click on apply in the next window that appears

Close the windows and then restart your Mac.

• Impossible to select the time range in dropdown menu-foglight PASS UI.

Hello

I'm new to foglight and is having a little problem with the user interface. I doubt if I'm in the right place to ask this question.

I use Foglight for SQL Server 7.0 v. Under UI, there is a drop down for the time interval, which, in my view, does not work as expected.

Please see the snapshot. Here, when I click on "last hour", next to the slot, a drop down menu arrow rises but it disappears very quickly and I can't change. I think that this menu has options like "last 15 minutes, last 6 h etc.

Please notify.

Thank you

I found the solution. It was because of two monitors. Once I went to the main screen, I could see menu items drop down.

DBA dear friends,

DB version 11.1.0.7. I have a SELECT query that is running long and wedging on. Query joins the 2 tables. It is partitioned hash (16 sheets) and others are not partitioned, each table is with the same volume of data - 230 million lines.

SELECT only 1 row (as indicated in the PLAN of EXPLAIN) should be fast.

• Delete empty item in, select one time choice

Hello
I use JDeveloper 11.1.1.4.
I have a jspx page that has a select statement after choice as below.

"< af:selectOneChoice label ="guru of the ADF"value =" #{testMB.selcOneValue} "required ="true">
< f: selectItem itemLabel = "Option1" Valeurelement = "1" / >
< f: selectItem itemLabel = "Option2" Valeurelement = "2" / >
< f: selectItem itemLabel = 'Option3' Valeurelement = "3" / >
< / af:selectOneChoice >

But an empty value is always displayed in selection once.

How to remove a value empty in the choice of selectone.

Kind regards
Praveen

Hello

I suppose you have no default value defined for the attribute (which is linked to the value property of your SOC) in your beans. In your testMB, set the value of the attribute to a default value selectOneValue and see if it solves your problem.

private  selectOneValue=1;
....
....
public  getSelectOneValue(){
return this.selectOneValue;
}

public setSelectOneValue( value){
this.selectOneValue=value;
}

• change the selection date & time in PSE 8 Mac/bridge

OK, maybe it's the Jet lag. I downloaded all my vacation photos and realized that I had forgotten to adjust the camera date/time zone time. I remember that earlier versions of Windows PES had the ability to adjust the tour time batch, but I can't find it in CS4 Bridge or PSE 8 Mac. I really want to do it manually for a couple hundred pictures. Is the ability to hide in there somewhere? THX

There are dozens of free utilities that will do, and I think you may even be able to do with automator. Here is an example of a free utility (have not used it myself, caught the first of dozens that came when I googled). I think that Graphic Converter can also do (it can batch change all kinds of EXIF, so I guess that the timestamps are included)

• Selection of the records of several dates but specific time

Hello:
I have to select records of several dates, but time should be 00:00:00 to 06:00:00 (i.e. 12 AM - 06:00)

For the part of date, this can be done:

WHERE
START_TIME BETWEEN TO_DATE (APRIL 1, 2012 ',' DD-MM-YYYY ') AND TO_DATE (5 APRIL 2012 ',' DD-MM-YYYY ')

But how can I fix the time above mentioed.

Please let me know.

Thank you/Tequila

you mean something like this?
If you are using timestamp you can use extract (time deposit)

with t1 as
(select sysdate - 3 / level as dt from dual connect by level < 101)
select dt, to_char(dt, 'HH24') from t1 where to_number(to_char(dt, 'HH24')) < 7

• 10g of form, can not get time with sysdate

I have a component on a form, start_time, that has the date data type. The format mask is set to mm/dd/yyyy hh24.
I'm trying to get the default time and date in the field with a trigger a times-news-record-instance.
Here is the code:
start_time: = sysdate;

But what is happening in the field when running is simply the date with midnight as time, it looks like this:
05/10/2009 00:00

When I go to sqlplus and type: select sysdate double; I only get the date: 05/10/2009
If I type select to_char (sysdate, "mm/dd/yyyy hh24 '") twice; I get: 05/10/2009-15:30.
If in my form, I put start_time: = to_char (sysdate, "mm/dd/yyyy hh24 '"). I get an error of invalid date.

How can I get the default time and date in the form field?

I met the same problem in one of my forms. I solved the problem by changing the data type of Date to "Datetime". I also double checked to make sure that the format mask has been defined correctly as you did and I made sure the maximum length property has been set to 25.

I hope this helps.
