• Adobe Muse 2015 self hosted fonts do not display on the page

  I am new to Muse 2015 but not web design, started with UltraDev and DW CC. So, here's my problem, I have a web font that appears and makes it very well locally but when uploaded to the server and displays the web fonts shows not default to the friendly web police.

  I see on your screenshot above that the WOFF is transferred to the intended location, so the hypothesis on a wrong configuration of web server seems the most plausible.

  I bought a family of fonts @ Fontspring for use in my Web site.

  Followed the instructions to add: Fonts folder > selected > pop up window shows all files. License agreement.

  The next window is MANAGE which shows that all versions of the. WOFF file of my fonts are missing. I select DIFFICULTY icon.

  Next window I'm supposed to match the system font Web police, but the police are not in the list.

  What I am doing wrong? I added more fonts self-hosted without problem...

  Before you add a font to the Muse, you must install a font in the system. In the system should be installed only ttf. Did you do it?

• Problems with self-hosted web fonts

  Then I applied a web font self-hosted on my site and it worked.   Hi, I am trying to add a web font self-hosted. Therefore, I bought the police Bureau (FTT) as well as web fonts (SVG, WOFF, EOT). Unfortunately the police Office does not appear in the list of fonts from muse. This is why it is not possible to add web fonts.   I don't know why that would happen. But here are a few things to try:

  1. Uninstall and reinstall the police
  2. If this does not help, close Muse, rename the file fonts.db (see below) to something else and restart Muse.

  To find the fonts.db file:

  • On Mac: In the Finder, click go > go to folder (CMD + SHIFT + G), type ~/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.AdobeMuseCC.2014.1/Local store
  • On Windows: Explorer, type %appdata%\com.adobe.AdobeMuseCC.2014.1\Local Store in the path to the top bar

  If you rename the file font.db can help, please both versions of the file (original and newly created) to [email protected] with a link to this post on the forum.

  I'm not a clever web developer.

  I use CC MUSE to create a Web site for our Service launched recently, which are both in the Korean language.

  TYPEKIT and Google font being devoid of any Korean font, I decided to use the feature self-host implemented in Muse.

  The problem is that some browsers tend to use a backup first, until the police is responsible, then past in the right police (which is in this case the police "NanumBarunGothic").

  I think that this symptomatic event is called HELL.

  Could someone help me please to solve this problem?

  As mentioned, I'm not a clever coder. All I can give is my greater attention and recognition!

• Self-hosted times not made on some browsers/computers

  I use once self-hosted, that I purchased from myfonts-

  It makes very well on some computers (I'm guessing that maybe those w / are already in the cache)- but when I try other - more precisely, others with the latest version of chrome - loading of the police is not rendered correctly.

  I tried a few sites 'browser test' to see how it looks — looks like both self-hosted seems perfect to all previous versions of Chrome but not later.

  It seems that you are using a third-party widget to allow the use of Typekit fonts (which, for "Lato", should not be necessary, since it is part of the Web Edge fonts) and this widget is substituting the behavior of any text with a tag to use h3 Virgin ' "as the name of the font family, which is why you see time in the browser. Apparently Chrome interprets "" as a non-existent police and falls at the time where other browsers do not change family of police prior located higher up in the CSS cascade and so you always get ITC Clearface even if the current setting of the CSS is in fact «»

• Problems adding self-hosted webfonts

  Is there a size limit to the eot, svg, woff files that I can download on the "self-hosted times adding"?

  I installed the file FTT police and then converted into 'eot, svg, woff', but I can't select them even on the self-hosted times adding browser.

  I thought this might be a question of the size of the file (I'm adding Korean fonts that the file size is much larger than the English fonts.)

  Or maybe only English fonts can be downloaded as self-hosted webfonts?

• Someone knows how to solve problems using webfonts self-hosted in Muse for iMac?

  I try to use once downloaded and self-hosted in Muse that I purchased from MyFonts.com as a kit times. I have all necessary formats required for use with Muse.

  Unable to install the .ttf files by double-clicking top (by following the instructions in the Muse tutorials) I put manually the .ttf files in the user > library > fonts folder on my hard drive.

  But when I add the webfonts in Muse, most fonts can not find system fonts match and therefore does not work properly. Can't understand why some files work and some don't because they are part of the same font and all located in the system folder.

  Is there a reason why this is happening?

  Hi Chris,

  As mentioned in the tutorial that akshay linked above, you need the version of the system font (i.e., police office) of the police as well. The .ttf that comes with the kit of web fonts is often (but not always) protected and not installable as a system font.

  Unplug your backup disk, restart, and try again.

• Form does not work on self-hosted server

  I can't get a form of Muse to work on my self-hosted web Ubuntu Server.  I don't have that basic software Apache installed to my knowledge - maybe I'm missing other necessary software to make it work, or maybe something just is not configured correctly.  I'm not super convenient with Linux, but I know enough to move to a certain extent.  Help Adobe told only to tell your hosting provider the problem, that doesn't make me a bunch of good.  Any thoughts on what I could do to make this work?  Thank you!

  Apache is a web server which can help in the loading of your web pages on browsers, I recommend a search on how to configure the mail server on ubuntu.

  01 I bought a desktop and web fonts Myfonts.com (light Campton and "BOLD").

  02 I installed on my computer the .otf (system font)

  03 on the Myfonts site, you can make a webfontkit of witch of web fonts that you can download.

  04 Opened MUSE > menu > file > Add / Remove of webfonts

  05 to Hosted Web Fonts > locate folder > webfontkit > OK

  06 muse will see the light of times (light Campton) version, the "BOLD" version is not recognized!

  07 muse ask me if I can sync my web fonts at my (office computer) system fonts that are already installed. (it does not), Muse will only see the light version, but it is not enabled for the font.

  08 what can I do to correctly install the InDesign?

  Hi Radomir,

  I've confirmed that the italic faces of the police that you sent do not set the bits in the metadata to indicate that they are italic or oblique. Muse uses these bits to distinguish the faces of Roman/standing.

  If this issue is a variant of some weight/styles of several fonts do not work after you have added as local. As you may have noticed in this other post on the forum, there is no solution at this time. When the feature was implemented, I made the assumption that metadata invalid fonts of this kind will be rare. But in light of a number of these reports, I will consider a more robust implementation for a future version.

  In the meantime, the only less-than-ideal solution is to manually match the italic faces some other fonts (see specify a corresponding Fund police https://helpx.adobe.com/muse/using/typography.html#Working%20with%20Self-hosted%20web%20fo nts). Muse will use the corresponding fonts in design mode (so look for something that has similar dimensions) but the correct fonts in the browser.

• Windows 7 fonts removed

  Whenever I restart my system all the fonts in the ' / windows/fonts / "folder keep deleted, all that's left are bold.ttf and symbol regular.ttf system. until I have remove and reinstall all the fonts in windows 7 install cd in the main .wim file, I can't read anything like its all text symbol... someone has a idea why keep deleted all my fonts?

  I keep everything I searched through reference system restore, system restore disabled so I do not eat disk space, but honestly nothing I found specifically on my problem.

  No errors are created, no system events are recorded, it just happens. The last major event on the system was that the latest windows auto update.

  Looks like there could be a problem with some of the system files on your computer. Have you tried running this http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833 to check all the files on your system?

• Add only self hosted webfonts

  That s my problem: I tried to import a family free fonts hosted (iI have the license). First time Muse and I could use the full range. But all of a sudden only a font family is available (the others are deleted in the list) and it is not possibel to use others. If I want to use a different font family, I delete the one and import the next. What my error?
