  • Cannot send mail with Windows Live Mail on Windows 7

All of a sudden, my phone can't send email on Windows Live Mail 2012 in Windows 7.  The Office of the home network has the same WLM 2012 with same port settings, etc.  There is no problem in creating and sending with the office.  I tried the repair program, but it did not help, even if he said that the repair was successful.  When I try to open the window to create an email, a window opens but then greys out with the message popping up saying that Windows Live Mail has suddenly stopped working.  Then it crashes.  I have no problem receiving mail.

Incoming Port 995 with require a verified secure connection.

Outgoing Port 465 with require a verified secure connection.  (identical to the office that has no problem)

I just used a restore point and that seemed to fix the problem.

  • Send/receive in Windows Mail box is off the screen to the right

Outbox send/receive in Windows Mail (Vista) used to appear at the top left of the screen.  Now, she is partially visible and on the top right of the screen.  I would like to return it where it was.  It comes to the Outbox Send/REC/WAV with the Green shows the 'streaming' line in messages and not the send/REC/WAV in a box in the toolbar.

Right-click on the toolbar and slick on customize and control the order of the displayed icons.  Adjust them to send/receive is not the end, but where you want.  If the order is good but it still hurt shows, press the Reset button and that should restore icons in their right place (although if you have no customization, you will need to do it again).

After further review, I know that I have responded to the toolbar tells you not what you were referring too.  I've been looking for each menu option and toolbar option I could find and you can't find any reference to any other send/receive button available in Windows Mail so that I have all the answers for you since the feature that you are discussing seems to not exist in my copy.  My only suggestion is to try to grab it with the mouse (left-click on it and hold down the left button) and see if you can move whenever you prefer it to be.  Otherwise, I have no suggestions to offer.  Do you know how to activate this box on or off (do appear or disappear) - if so, please explain how it's done.  If we can get this dialog to appear in our versions, then maybe we can find a way to solve the problem.  Have you ever installed some software enhancements 3rd party Windows Mail which could include this as a feature?

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Lost just send/receive on my live mail account.

    Original title: Microsoft Live E-mail

Me, too, just lost send/receive on my Live Mail account.  I get a request a password, but I don't remember ever having one for that account, though I am not sure that I must have had a.  Now, I want to create a new password.  No idea how I'm going about it, as the message I get does not provide for it?    I'd appreciate any input on these two problems.

In the login page, click "I can't access my account."  The next page will allow you to choose to reset your password, and it will help you along. Basically, it will need to prove who you are, by calling your phone number on record (when it exists) or to send you to a different address on file, so that they can prove it is you. Then they'll let set a new password.

Here is the page: I can not access my account
