Send to mail recipient absent from Windows 7

Upgrade Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit for Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.  The option to send to the recipient of the message is missing the locations on the desktop.  I move and click with the right button to review the entire list.  I use Windows Live Mail.  I can send the document by attaching it in Windows Live Mail.  The option to right click and send to mail recipient was present for a few days after the upgrade.

Thank you for your response.  I used the SHIFT key and right-click on the element I want to e-mail.  There are 20 places but no envelope.  I don't reinstall Windows Mail still no envelope.  Mircosoft Support created a shortcut on the desktop and added the envelope icon.

Here are the steps on how to create the message recipient in the list sent to.

> Click Start

> Type in the search bar %appdata%\microsoft\windows\sendto

> Right click on the space in the middle of the window

> Click New

> Click on text Document

> Open the txt file in Notepad, then type "Mail" and save the file as "Mail Recipient.MAPIMail.

  • Importer e-mail and addresses from Windows Mail in windows.old to Outlook 2007 in the new Windows 7

Installed Windows 7 on a laptop last night.
Old system: Vista & Windows Mail
    New system: Windows 7 Ultimate (64) & Outlook 2007

Prior to installation, we have saved copies of records of e-mail and address books for the two users on a disk partition.  These same files are also still available in windows.old.

Import in Outlook 2007 feature, I cannot select a directory where the old files/email address. He just made a kind of research and can't find anything.
I wish that prospects to find them and convert a PST file but can't seem to make it work. I tied each combination in the functionality of Outlook 'import' and even tried to drag the old emails in the outlook Inbox (just create a new email with the .eml attachment file)

What should I install Windows mail, that he could recognize the old addresses / and then inport to Outlook?  Maybe then Outlook will look for them in their actual location?

    A little frustrated...

How did your question related to Windows Update, Al?

You cannot import data from Windows Mail directly in Outlook. See...

How TO migrate [Windows mail] Outlook (when you have only the message store files)
       http://www.HOWTO-Outlook.com/HOWTO/migratefromoewlm.htm#FILES_ONLY

In your case, you must first download/install Windows LIVE Mail and then import data from Windows Mail in this e-mail client. After that, you can EXPORT data from Windows LIVE Mail to Outlook (compared to import the data into Outlook).

Yes, this is all very confusing. Adding to the confusion:

    1. you must set Windows LIVE Mail as your default for mail in CUSTOM (<>) item Set Program Access and computer by default in Win7 before any function send to or MailTo will become available.

    2. you will find general support for all e-mail Win7 Clients in this forum: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7network/threads

    3. you will find support for Windows Live Mail in this public newsgroup:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/list/en-us/default.aspx?DG=Microsoft.public.Windows.live.mail.desktop

    4. you will find support for Outlook in these forums as well as in this public newsgroup:

    1. e-mail will NOT get SENT except if you click SEND.
2 address is not displayed automatically, because the desired address is not among 29 last addresses that you had used. Semi-automatic retains only the last 29 used addresses. In addition, we have to click Open the list of contacts (the button at the front).

It sounds like the issue might be with the domain network. You may need to check with the network administrator for more information about the issue.

  • Have multiple e-mail accounts. How to make an account by default when you use send to mail recipient?

We have several email accounts. How to make one of the accounts the default sender address when we send a document to the recipient of the message? Or how can I change the order of the Thunderbird email accounts that they appear?

There is an extension that allows you to rearrange the order of the accounts in the easy folderpane. It is manually sort folders.

To do a particular server out by default, go to account settings > mail outgoing (SMTP), select the one to be the default and click set as default.

  • Unable to send e-mail to groups in Windows Live Mail

    * Original title: send 1 e-mail to the list of contacts (Group)

I have Windows Live Mail and have made a group list of 159 names (on more than 1000 in my Contact list).  At least this is what I think that I did.

I would like to send a bcc these 159 people without clicking each name individually.  I guess that there is a way to click on this group of 159 easily

in the Bcc box, but I don't know how.

    Help!  Thank you!

    Hello Polly,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft Communities. I apologize for the delay
response and thank you for your time and patience.

According to the description, I understand that you have created a group of 159 contacts and all by sending an e-mail with attachments, it is located in the folder Outbox for hours. Manipulate later you settings in the e-mail message.

E-mail contacts can be saved as a group and sent both without selecting each contact individually. You can give a name to the Group and when you send an e-mail, you just type the name of the group in the field that you created. It's what we call a group name.

To resolve this issue I suggest you uninstall and reinstall Windows Live
    Essentials.

    6. once the uninstall
    full restart the computer.
7 re - install Windows live essentials of the
    link http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-live/essentials
    8. After installing windows live essentials, go to press Windows + C to open

    and press ENTER.

  • Receive the error message that dciman32.dll is absent from Windows 7

Hello. I've restored my PC to a point of different starting about a month ago and there was an error when I rebooted it lacked dciman32.dll. I downloaded it on the internet (it has been dated to 2004) and put in windows/system32 and it is more showed the error when I rebooted it. I was wondering if it had anything to do with a DVD program that I can have installed. I've also cancelled it until the point of origin at a time given and which did not help either.

So I've not had a problem since, and now I want to install H & R Block to do my taxes. I get the following error message:

The program cannot start because DCIMAN32. DLL is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix the problem.

I have searched here and doing a scannow from the command prompt and rebooted but it didn't help.

What should I do to reinstall this file?

    Thank you.

Finally solved. I need to copy the file into SysWOW64 not System32.
