sending photos by email win 8

HI I have upgraded to a full version of win 8 of the preview version. In the old version I click with the right button on a photo and send to mail recipient and outside, he would go. With the new version when I do this it tells me to go to default programs and fix it there. I went there and cannot get anything that works (I dunno really what I'm looking for) to send photos. Someone has an answer and if you could you me detailed instructions please

The only way to send photos by e-mail on Windows 8 is with Oulook and it must be the default e-mail program.  I downloaded Outlook but still refuses to send because Outlook is not my default e-mail program.  I have to go to the trouble of taking the picture to a computer with Windows 7.  Why should I do this Microsoft?

  • How to configure mail to send photos to email wothout using attachment option?

How can I configure windows live to send photos by mail without an attachment?

You can't send a photo with a message without being an attachment. If you want the photo to be incorporated into the body of the message, you have two choices:

    1. When you compose the message, use the unique photo tab Insert button (or press Ctrl-J). Despite the name of the button, you can select multiple photos to insert.
    2. Upload your photo to a SkyDrivefile hosting site. Make public (everyone can see), and then use original view to open the photo in its own window. You can then use right click to copy and paste into your e-mail message.

Were you able to send and receive at all?
Your ISP (internet service provider) is Verizon, but what do you use as mail client? i.e. Windows Live Mail?
    Your server names are:
    Incoming server: incoming.verizon.net
    Outgoing server: outgoing.verizon.net
How to change the names of servers. The method applies to both Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail...
Open your e-mail program, > menu bar, tools > Options > accounts > clicking on the verizon account > properties > tab servers make your changes here > click OK when finished.

Note: you may have problem with port #25 send, if this is the case, change it to 587.
Sorry to be honest, I have the feeling that you never have the Setup program before your e-mail account. If so, please call Verizon for the technical help section, ask them to lead you through setting up an e-mail account. They might have a website for this purpose.

    Hey Martina 1982,
To attach files to your email, simply click on the play icon attached once you have the message at the top (the icon is generally that of a paper clip).
This will open a window that allows you to browse (look around) for the file that you want to send.
Find this location of file on your computer and click it to add it to the window and select OK.
Depending on the size of the file, it loads a few seconds and then you will see the file attached to your email.
Finish the email as usual and send.
    Here's a quick link:
    http://www.ehow.com/how_6356960_attach-audio-video-files-email.html

You can also do a search on 'How to attach files to send' for more information.
Now regarding the display options or absence of Cam you, I would say communicating with the dell printer.
It should be on their website troubleshooting steps:

Click here to load the images down. "I noticed that when I click on the warning bar, I can hear the hardrive whirring away and then OE hangs.

An error report is then sent to MS. I could stick the report here, but it would be premature.
I don't see that with any other shipper.
    Any idea what could happen?

It won't hurt to report them, but I doubt they would care or they they have been set.

Attempts to send photos as attachments in the emails.  Set up pictures for mail in PMB launcher then click ok.  Can't get no e-mail form.  The photos go to "never never land".  I talked to support PMB launcher.  They said activate/install MAPI (messaging API) in windows mail.  Is it?  Where can I find the MAPI, how can I install it, etc.  I looked everywhere in windows mail, and can't find any hint of MAPI. To my limited knowledge...
Windows Mail is a Mapi Simple client.
MS Outlook is a full Mapi client.
In short, WM cannot do the job. You need Outlook. That's the extent of my 'know-how '.
Talk to your "so-called" PMB support people. Ask a higher level tech to talk to you.

PS just a question: I don't know anything about PMB. What is in PMB Launcher that Vista cannot match?
