sent said full box all the time - but it is empty - impossible to refer to any emails sent

When I write an email and send it says sent box is full - I have compacted repeatedly but no joy.
any suggestions welcome

I have 299 messages sent now that deleted much nadb it say 4GB? more than 6000 and only 1.25 GB inbox.

So say your settings:
Email IMAP account:
selected: "Place a copy in.
selected: 'Other' and 'envoy on local issues.

This means that even if you use an imap account you are not recording the sent items on the server with all your other emails. Instead you save the in local folders on your computer.

Try this.

  • Right-click on the folder sent to local folders.
  • Select "Properties".
  • Tab 'General information' - click 'repair file '.
  • Click OK
  • Click on the small black arrow to the left of "Local folders" to the collapse of the local folder hierarchy.
  • Then click New to open the Local folder tree so that you can review all the files.
  • Select / highlight all emails. (Ctrl + A); they appear as the 'conversations' in the messages pane.
  • Archive your emails - click the "Archive". Emails must appear in the file Archive of local folders. Your "sent" folder should now appear empty.
  • Then right click on the "sent" in the local files folder and select "compact".

    It is up to the recipient how their e-mail is displayed. For example, if you include html or an image in your email the recipient may set up their customer e-mail to not display html or images. You have no control over the way a recipient chooses configure their e-mail client.

    I cleaned the inside of the computer and all the fans. It was very dusty.

    Then I pressed my finger on all the cards on the motherboard to make sure they don't lose. As for the fans, I took out and put them back in.

    Now it's working. The fans are back to normal.

Now not only the tabs above are missing after this reset, but the drop down menu does not open in any submenus. This is why the Navigator is not functional in its current state.
    Does anyone have a fix for this problem that will not delete my favorites and other content stored on Firefox? Please save me to return to Internet Explorer.

    Open Windows Explorer, navigate to c:\users\username\saved games\microsoft games\solitare.  You see a game called Solitare.SolitareSave - ms? If so, this is the game that retains the proofreading.  Try to delete this file and rerun Solitare.  If this is the Spider Solitaire, you play, change the link above for Spider Solitaire.

    You could also try to delete and re-add the game.  To do this, click the Start button, type programs and features, or turn off Windows features turn on, uncheck the games box and click OK.  Then click on or turn off Windows features turn on once again and double-check the games folder and click OK. This will reinstall the games.

    Once a computer is turned off, it's... Well well, off the coast.  But not just asleep, off.  By the definition of 'off' it does nothing.  Microsoft Security Essentials is a program and only works when the computer is turned on, as all of your other programs.  You cannot run a program when the computer is turned off.  The good news is that a computer is turned off is completely protected against malware are malicious software programs and does not work either.  There is absolutely no need to have anything by protecting your computer when it is turned off.  That said, I think that your concern doesn't really MSE all the time, but that's automatically done already when you turn on your laptop.  Not to worry.

    You see the pop-up warning that MSE has not yet started Microsoft.  If you click on the Start button in the pop - up notification MSE should start (but not immediately).  It may take a minute or two.  If you wait just MSE must start with itself and the notice will go away without having to do anything.

    I see the same thing when I run one of my virtual machines that you see when you start your laptop.  I'm very familiar with it.  It goes away in a few minutes and only means that from MSE wasn't the first thing the computer did when I turned on.  Windows moves to finally start MSE, but you can the long hurry up if you want.

    To manually start Microsoft Security Essentials, find its icon on the lower right side of your taskbar (called the "notification area").  The icon looks like a Red House with an X on it.  Right-click on the icon and choose open on the pop up list.  The MSE window opens on the desktop.  Click on "Start it now" button in the window that appears.  The window fades.  It may take a little time to start the MSE.  When everything is OK, home in the notification area icon will turn green with a check mark.

    When I see the Red House, I usually just give the computer a few minutes to complete marketing and the problem goes away on its own.  On rare occasions I start MSE myself.

    In the Task Manager, you can check the process that locks the CPU and use the whole performance of the CPU.
    You can google for this .exe to know what software or application uses this process.

    5 - completely new OS + software resets the laptop when using some applications from a live disk.

    Theoretically the laptop turn off itself due to a higher internal temperature to protect the equipment against damage.

    Hello captna, here is a link for the specifications of your system. It shows that the system was delivered with a 300 Watt power supply.

    There is not much better performing video cards that work with a 300 Watt power supply. Most require at least a 400 Watt power supply or greater power.

    You could improve the feed and the video card, then possibly 4 new memory modules, but the cost would start to add up. On a system to make a few years about it, I don't know if this would be the way to go, or consider getting a new system.

    You could simply acquire a new video of the same type card and get the system back, because there was, or even try and find a graphics card fan to replace the failed fan. It would be the least expensive option.

    Your system was shipped with the memory 3 X 1 GB modules. It only supports 4 X 1 memory modules, so upgrading the memory would not help all that much. You'd probably remove the existing memory and install 4 new memory modules in order to be compatible with your system memory. It is not recommended to mix memory strips.

    Just some thoughts.
