Separate Exchange emails to email gmail blackBerry Smartphones

I have a user who wants his e-mails Exchange and Gmail separate messages. Currently they are both coming in the Messages. Gmail goes into the gmail app and messages. Curve 8900 with the most up-to-date software available for this device.

How can I put it to separate the two? I checked the options and set the SMS and email to separate, but which does not affect these two e-mail inboxes.

Thank you.

The 8900 has a 5.0 upgrade, maybe it just not your service provider. You can switch to the release of any other company, with no problems, and if you want to do this, just say and I'll put the instructions and the link here, it is up to you.

Otherwise, the change in BES settings would probably be the easiest way, if you are the admin of BES.

Otherwise, you have the opportunity to Empower.

    I'm unable to access e-mail.

After entering my user and password, it indicates there is a problem and suggest you contact gmail.com.

    How to remedy?

OK... and what was your result of the search of the public data base KB? I found this... may or may not apply to your situation, but give it a quick glance:

    • Article ID: KB12288 Impossible to integrate or validate a Google Mail with BlackBerry Internet Service account

Otherwise, with a strong support network signal (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    2) Remove and return Service books

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    3) restart

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your configurations for the relevant accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

    Good luck!

  • Problem with email notification blackBerry Smartphones

HIII everybody... I use bb9320curve with os 7.1, until a few days back everything worked well, in my opinion if it was my friends or community mailer. Then due to several reasons, I disabled my internet connection for a week, now, even once, I enabled the internet, I received a message that in 20 minutes I start receiving my notifications by e-mail, but nothing happened. I have not received all messages on my phone (but a lot through my Inbox in regular line).  I tried to reboot, perform a hard reboot by removing the battery while on and so far nothing has worked. Then I get notifications only when I receive by email from the community forum of bb not other e-mails that are my friends, I know it sounds crazy, but that's what happens. Can anyone suggest me the solution.

    Hello!!

I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. • Email to blackBerry Smartphones has stopped working! The problem is NOT solved!

My BB 9780 was working fine a few weeks ago and then stopped my emails.

I have not added any application or change anything

I tried this service book record thing, out of battery, removal of e-mails and trying to set them up again (which doesn't work now) and nothing

    So no idea?

I'm tired of these bugs... I would really like to have a phone that can receive emails, otherwise it will become a big paperweight

Hello and welcome to the community!

Therefore, I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) • Email configure blackBerry Smartphones and delete forever business account

    Hello

    I have 12 blackberry 9720.

They have been somehow configured to work as a business smartphone.

Now the company wants to reject the old Blackberry Service Administrator.

I can't set up any kind of e-mail on these phones.

After several resets factory they continue to ask for a business email account.

Is it possible to set up a simple gmail account on them?

Better yet, is it possible to manually set the old account? (I can do this on a samsung or on an iphone).

Whenever I try to configure one of them that I make you to configuration-> email account-> and I can only activate a company account.

I want to just configure emails.

    Hello

    Assuming that you have:

    • The devices removed from BES/DOWN
    • Passed under the carrier on each device BES to BIS account

Then the devices should have ' Personal/Internet' showing on the screen. Note that the company will always show up on this screen, no matter what. But it is only useful for devices in a BES environment. For non - BES, you need a plan BIS of data by the carrier in order to activate the exclusive services of BB (which includes the e-mail handling on these devices inherited from BBOS). And, if the data carrier account does not exist OR if it does not BIS, then the screen will show exactly as you describe, and email does not work on the device.

    Good luck!

  • Incoming emails for blackBerry Smartphones

My Bold 9930 received incoming emails faster they go on my PC (Outlook).  Now, they take almost an hour appears on my smart phone or don't show up at all.  Is a Blackberry server problem or is there a setting on my smartphone, I can change?

If the device is taken and you are on a BES I would contact your administrator of TI. They may have information about what is happening. If you do not change anything on the device, then it is probably not that you can do. I start by contacting Sprint and ask them to make sure that everything works correctly in your area.

  • Email for blackBerry Smartphones application is greyed out on BlackBerry desktop software.

I have the Blackberry desktop software version 4.5 installed on my computer. I can't access the E-mail application because it is grayed out. When I try to access it I get an error message "this computer does not have his account address message. The messaging system is not configured properly or this e-mail system is not supported. "I use outlook for my email. I have a BlackBerry Curve 8330. It is updated with version 4.5. The software recognizes the phone. All other programs are available.

It's on a computer at home?  It seems that you have installed the desktop using the BES software / redirector option.  Redirector is designed to work with a server exchange; If you are using your home PC with a POP/IMAP e-mail address, the best solution would be to reinstall the Desktop Manager using BIS (located in the Setup Wizard), and then use the Blackberry Internet Service to configure your POP/IMAP e-mail.  With this configuration, you will over see the e-mail settings icon because it will no longer apply.  When you use the redirector on a computer that is not on an exchange server, you can receive messages on your device that say "this message is used to carry data between the blackberry and the server... ", which can be quite annoying.

  • Redundant emails of blackBerry Smartphones

I recently created my work email accounts with my BB and I get my mail very well.  The problem I encounter is that I receive a copy of every email that I send whatever the weather, I send my BB or my Outlook.  It is extremely annoying.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Rob, it's a Gmail account?

  • Email to blackBerry Smartphones combine white screen

Hello good people who are so kind to help us with our BBerry probs.

I try to help a colleague with his Storm 9530 (with all the software/OS News) but run into some problems.

She wants Outlook to stop posting his email as the opening when the message is delivered to his Blackberry. This happens even if it does not open the email on his Blackberry.

  • Notifications by email of blackBerry Smartphones Message app duplicatiing

    Hello

Could someone explain to me please how to get the application of Message on the home page to stop sending notifications when e-mails arrive in my email app? I use the Yahoo email app and everytime I get an email notification that I also get the same notification duplicated in the request Message. It's just a little annoying.

    Thanks in advance.

Here's a post I made some time ago which explains how the messaging application. The basic answer is WAD - works as expected.

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/Rim/Board/message?board.ID=9500&message.ID=30149#M30149

While this position was aligned to BES users, the basic concept is intact. Messages is the main place for all messages (WAD) - separate icons for individual accounts are as a filter for the icon displays only messages related to that specific account. What I have done is to put the Messages icon to the bottom in a subfolder, and I just get something must come who is not associated with a specific icon on my home screen (e.g., PIN Messages, etc.).

On the storm, you still have the ability to split the TEXT in their own icon (and not duplicated in Messages). With any list message appears:

BBKey > Options > General Options

The list a little ways is a selection for "SMS and email Inboxes" - separate value and you will have a new icon just for SMS/MMS.

BTW - the selection of alert messages is simply a quick key to app of sounds so that you can change the alerts associated with this account. But since he launched the app sounds, you see indeed everything in the app sounds.

    Hope something here is useful.

    See you soon!

  • Problem of strange Email from blackBerry Smartphones. Emails show as read in outlook when delivered to the blackberry phone

    Background:

our company has recently migrated from Exchange Server 2003 to Exchange Server 2010.

All of our blackberry phones use the provider service, so no BIS/BES participates in our side.

Before the migration to exchange 2010, everything was fine.

However, we started to notice what follows with the accounts migrated to exchange 2010:

The user receives an email in his 2007 Outlook e-mail client.

the user does not read the message, the message shows as unread.

BlackBerry survey involved provider, connect to our exchange 2010, the voting user account. As soon as this happens, the email gets "read" in outlook, but pronounced as "unread" in the blackberry phone.

I would like some advice about what to do next or maybe there's something related to exchange server 2010 or my service providers.

I tested it with my blackberry 9000 and is happening exactly as described.

    Thank you

    Hey eaperezh,

    Thanks for the information.

There is an article on this topic: www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB03913

To resolve this issue: integrate accounts as OWA or IMAP or to configure a rule to redirect to the exchange server to forward to another address or address BlackBerry.

You can not download emails before setting up the account of the use of the BIS service.
