  I use Turkish in the names of my contacts. Turkish has the additional characters to the alphabet from A to Z.

  They are capital and small versions of gbreve (ğĞ), scedilla (Şş), o-umlaud (Oo), u-umlaud (Uu), ccedilla (Cc), capital I point (iİ) and without point-i (ıI).

  For example my name begins with capital i with a dot on top, İhsan.

  Some other examples of name are Çetin, Şamil, Umit, Omer, Bader...

  I have almost 2000 contacts in my outlook and on iCloud as synchronized as well.

  These characters have all their olaces on table Unicode.

  And there is a collation sequence Turkish governing the sort of contact names.

  In my case, I see my contacts in Microsoft Outlook (Windows) and also on the web site of iCloud.

  When I connect to www.icloud.com, I see a perfectly sorted according to collating sequence Turkish contacts list.

  But when I have the contacts list of Microsoft Outlook such as that presented by iCloud for Windows Extension, contacts are not sorted properly and starting with these special characters is listed either at the beginning or at the end.

  Problem can be comfortably attributed to iCloud extension because when I copy same 2000 + contacts in the iCloud in a native Microsoft Outlook folder contacts folder, they are sorted perfectly. Outlook can sort by the Turkish sort sequence. It is a very annoying problem that affects also search and replace too. A Z characters have a fixed position on Unicode table offset when locating the capital and reduced versions. But these extra characters do not have the same fixed offset and because of that when I'm looking for c I can't find C or vice versa.

  So sorting is OK on the website to iCloud and based on Windows native Microsoft Outlook contacts folder, but not OK in iCloud contacts file presented by iCloud extension under Windows.

  Since this update for a given title, 'CD', song or 'track' selection is no longer moves in the regular sequence, i.e.track 1 to 2 to 3 and so on. The automatic progression is random, going to randomly say 1 to 3 to 5 or 1 to 7 or 9 or 8, then sometimes back to 1, even skip a track in a title to another title, then another title. In other words totally unmanageable, without the possibility to fill in a piece of music, for example a symphony or other.

  I understand that iTunes seems to be unexpectedly scramble the order of albums when you try to play the songs on the album in order. In 12.5 iTunes the shuffle button appears at the top in the center of the iTunes window.

• iPad 2 Air jump DFU Boot Up sequence

  Hi all

  I am a corporate IT and we have an iPad that gave us some difficulty, the last two days. He was stuck in a boot loop sequence that would flash a loop about 3 times before freezing on the screen of the Virgin white apple logo screen and Red boot.

  I was able to get into recovery mode and try to do a restore and update on the device, but when I try to go through the process of restore and update, without interruption, I get an error "iPad"iPad"could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (9).

  I studied the error code and I followed these instructions several times. Different USB cables, different USB ports on my MacBook Pro. I tried the iMac to my office. I even tried the process on my windows via bootcamp partition. All have failed and left me with the same error.

  I did more research and discovered the DFU mode. I tried to run the sequence through a separate set of instructions found on the site Web of you to boot DFU here. I followed these instructions completely without fault.

  My problem is that whenever I plug the iPad in any machine, it will automatically now in recovery mode. I try first press and hold power for 3 seconds button, then the button home for 10 seconds, but before I can even hold power for 3 seconds button, the iPad starts in recovery mode.   DFU mode is very very difficult to get that timing is absolutely essential. You're not the only one who has noticed this. I recommend that you keep trying until you get it in DFU, your last alternative other than an Apple Store. Good luck.

  I have not found a way to change the sequence of films shown in the movie screen.

  If you access your movies in the Finder folder, then Ctrl-click on the folder of the theatre, you will find your movies to the poster

  in the alphabetical order in archival records.   I was not able to manually rearrange it.   They can be rearranged in some categories, through the view menu item at the top of the screen and the changes applied to the entire window, but it was not carrying at the display of iMovie.  In General, I'd like to make changes to the structure of iMovie in the finder.  It can cause serious problems.

  In Final Cut Pro 7, you can use editing > find command to search on used clips in the sequence. See if there is an equivalent command in FCE. Unfortunately, I can't determine that at first hand on my system. (In addition, if you are still interested whereas FCP X, there the so-called Timeline index which provides quick access to a list of markers, clips, effects, etc..)

• PNG, short cut sequence

  I'm working on a video sequence of 10 minutes and one of my animations is a PNG 430 image sequence.  This was introduced in the project very well and I continued to work on pieces later.  For some reason any when I rub the timeline back on this first part of the project that it has cut sequences short png animation, it plays around 25% of the animation, and then maintains.  It should play at 100% then hold on the end condition.

  When I display the properties of this clip, the duration of the end says 476 and is located at the end on the scroll bar.  If I move it it aligns with 100 and will not go further.

  Retiming of the clamp to 100% it's still playing less, about 10% of the animation completes.  Replacing media with the same png sequence does nothing.  The only solution is to remove the clip and re - import and redo my animation on this subject.  I had to do this several times throughout the project for previously filled groups / layers that were very well originally.

  All media is on the local drive.

  Any ideas what I could do wrong?   I copy clips to the timeline and paste sections later and then change the properties of the duplicate (not clone) which I think mess with the original somehow that it is always on the clips that are reused.

  You might have accidentally shortened it by typing the command-option-O instead of simply type O to define an outpoint on another object, or put you and I forgot about it.

  Or

  You set an out point on the group that contains the image sequence.

  Or

  You may accidentally set the length of the piece (to point) of one of the images in the sequence to a longer time (and it was probably moved to the top of the layers in the image group.)

  All sorts of things could have happened.

  Try to re-import the image sequence and clone group.  Do new clones of the original whenever you need a new copy.

  Sorry if this is a silly question but have you created a new project and dragged your clips in the pane of the event in the calendar of the project?

  If you have, make sure that an item in the timeline is selected.  If you select an item in the case where the pane then share it will share just this clip and nothing else.  (The currently selected element will have a yellow border).

  I have a Tecra m9 laptop and when I try to turn it on, it blinks with a light orange in this sequence:

  6 short flashes, short 1 long blink, 1 blink, a ditch, and then it repeats.

  What you see flashes code. The flashing provides an error code. Short means 0 and 1 long.

  The hexadecimal code can be read by the service partner. The blink code will be sent when the microcontroller detects a problem with the power supply. Unfortunately you can not do anything alone. Contact the closest partner in your country and ask for help.

  All you can try right now is to disconnect battery and start the laptop with AC power only.
