Sequential calendar loop

I have attached an image of a VI that I created to try to debug what I call a sequential structure of timing. I use the screw express time up in the structures of flat sequence with enabled auto reset. I have for both elapsed time indicators. What caught the first loop will be execure and don't stop until the elapsed time reaches 5 seconds, then the second loop starts and run until the time spent on the second elapsed timer reaches 5 seconds. What I expect to happen is outside while the loop will return execution to the first sequence flat while loop, the timer will be reset, and the above sequence will start again. What actually happens is that 'elapsed time' in the first elapsed timer remains true and the loop exits immediately. The second timer resets and account as expected. I'm sure this is a simple mistake, I do, but some advice would be refreshing.

Here is what is happening in your case:

The two express screws started autoreset, which means once passed the first time loop, it resets the timer and start counting again. Five seconds later the second loop stops and starts again from the first loop. Now, more than 5 seconds have passed after it has reset, so the elapsed time again.

    Hello

I'm trying to control the timing of a timed loop. So far, I have tried several approaches via the software and which worked very well except the time loop in some missed cases 1-2 Ms I want to make sure the timing is right. I tried to provide an external clock through the acquisition of data I. The system I use is NI USB-6212. It has two counters and DIO and AIO, but I keep getting errors. I tried two different approaches. One was to use directly the game 'DAQmx create calendar Source.vi' in frequency mode, and when I did, I got error 200077. Then I found a post of somone saying that sometimes it is not possible and an alternative method is to use the same vi but set task of loop control mode. This one gave me Error200452. For this one you will see in my attachment the suggestion was to use an AI then the moment of him and then use this task for Creat DAQmx synchronization Source.

I don't know what the problem is or if I need to put something differently.

Please let me know if you can help me with this.

I'll try to continue to work on that, but if anyone of you a suggestion I'll be very happy to consider the issue.

    Thank you in advance,

    Best, Massimo.

    Massimo,

In my view, the errors that you see are the result of your hardware USB-6212 is supporting the functionality of the task control loop.  I have a M Series PCI card that is capable of operating both of your screws attached without problem (although they still +/-1ms variation on occaision).  When I try to use a USB-6212 simulation, I get the same error codes that you do.  Unfortunately, it's just a case of a lack of equipment.

    Kind regards

  • How to get the button loop on my calendar?

HII im using adobe flash cs5 nd my loop button is missing frm my calendar... can someone help me get this timeline button?

  • Calendar in a loop DAQ with write, read, then a bit of transformation

(I use a PXI-6052e, DAQmx and Labview 8.6. I have time real module installed if it would help to solve the problem that I have.)

I am writing a control program that requires a certain sequence in a loop, which is:

1 four of the digital i/o pins on the Board (to set the status of a switch), then update

    2. to provide a boost to a brooch (to launch the failover), then

    3. take a sample on each of the three analog inputs,

    4. processing on these three samples and use the output to update maps.

Now, I know that, separately, my methods of control for the switch and the subsections of sampling/dsp doesn't work. However, when I try to combine them into the same loop there is a problem with the sync the sequence above. Clearly I'm not going to things the correct way.

I have attached the main VI containing the 'main measure loop' so that you can see how I'm trying to do things. The loop is in the last picture of the stacked sequence (the first two are just stuff of calibration - ignore them).

Ideally what I want is to have this loop running at 1 kHz (for example), and each iteration has the above followed by sequence [i] in that order [/ i]. To monitor the output pins and switch output but it is clear that this is not the case.

Thank you very much for any advice. I know that I'm doing it wrong, but I can't work on how it is supposed to be. I tried using a loop timed but in vain.

I've implemented the attached file. If you could have a look to make sure that's not crazy, it would be great.

I use two counters. The first is at 1 kHz and begins immediately. The 500 Hz counter is triggered to start on the front of the meter to 1 kHz.

Also, AI samples are acquired on each rising edge of the counter from 1 kHz.

In the future, I should be able to increase this to have a few more counters, I suppose?

  • calculations between two values of the sequential loop iterations

    Hi all

I have a code that came out our power (DSP) of a FFT spectral density. An input frequency and then intervened at a value of input from the user. I would like to know the difference of the PSD between each stage of the frequency. Attached, that's what I would get. To avoid confusion, I don't want to produce a file that looks like this. I want just the column 'delta' as an indicator on the front panel, so I can control my change in PSD. I don't need the entire table, just the delta between the current iteration and the previous iteration. I tried to use a loop with shift registers, but I'm not sure where to go to from there. I thought that, since the shift registers sends the data of loop to loop, that I could output the value before it went into the next iteration, but I don't have a chance. Any help is appreciated. Unfortunately, I am unable to put the code due to the policy of the company. I know it makes things much more difficult.

    Thank you.

Suggestions do not seem quite right, but I found a way to do it. Attached, is the way that I did.

  • FPGA square wave generator diverts loop calendar

    Description of the problem:

I have a simple while loop with a structure of matter inside. In one case, I have the
Generator FPGA Sinewave sending the data of output to AO0, otherwise, I have
the square wave FPGA sending output to AO0 generator. The sine and square
waves are set to run at 10 kHz

I also have a shift register that changes the State of DIO0 each loop through.
In this way, I can look DIO0 on my scope and say how fast the loop runs.

When I choose the sine wave generator, the output on AO0 is what I expect. That
is I have a sinusoidal signal at 10 kHz and the loop speed is approximately 1 US. Everything is good.

Then I move to the square wave. I get a signal square 10 kHz, which is good. But
My loop speed was slowed down to 50 US (it follows the square wave
exactly) is: once the loop defines the FS square wave and the
the next time through the loop, it defines the square wave to-FS.

My problem is that when I generate a square wave, I expect the speed of loop
to stay fast he does it for the sine wave. You can see what my loop speed
slows to 50 (a square wave of 10 kHz) and then all my calculations that must
go in parallel with the square wave will also be slowed.

Please help me with my understanding of the use of the square wave FPGA sub - VI

    Thank you

If you dig into the express VI, it will loop an SSTL until there is a change in value.  The sine wave has no need to do so because the value changes constantly.

If you can, I recommend doing your loop a SSTL and configure the express screw accordingly.  This will work as long as the rest of your code in the loop can be run in a single clock cycle.

I do not understand how you want me to do that, a change of the code will be appreciated.

Here's a stupid enough implementation. Ideally you should design the code as a correct state machine instead.

Basically, once each boolean is true, it will stay true and the code in the case of false is no longer running. Once all are true, the loop stops.

  • While loop with reading of text file - calendar of events in a given period

    Hello world.

I created a program that if serial interface via a port to a syringe push in my lab. Currently, the program reads in a text file-flow rate values and sends them to the pump, one by one, through various commands. I need to ensure that whenever a new flow rate value is sent to the pump, it does in a specific/hard time for a while. I.e. every 0.1 seconds, changes in flow rate and must are active until the next period. I tried to use a timed loop and I think I've succeeded, but it hogs system resources, so I was wondering if there was a way to do it using the number of cycles or something of this nature. I just started using LabView, so I'm slowly getting the hang of it (easy when you watch my VI!)

See attached VI. I took orders from serial port and have instead orders display in an indicator. The nested and densely populated while loop contains the commands that need to be completed/last during the period (like 0.1 second).

Thank you for your time and help!

Hi, you should read some introductory material on LabVIEW to down the idea of the stream.

Basically, the data flow in the wires from left to right, and any node will not work until it has reached all of his contributions.

The thread of the error is the best way to run data streams.

    ***

In your VI I use data wires, their execution through structures, and forcing the structures to run in the sequence.  Using a structure of sequence you mentioned in your next post will force the two scripts to execute in the order of (the only one we discussed to be in race condition.)

Similarly, for brevity, I would wrap the EMO and she is business structure in a single sequence and force it to run last using stream.  In this way the user has the most possible time to decide to hit the EMO before she is called by the application.  As it is now, it most likely is interviewed at the beginning of the loop, so if it's the exchange value you won't see results until the next loop.

When running in execution of highlight you see the order of data flow, but that is not guaranteed to be the same for a normal performance, where the use of the data stream.

    ***

The counter tick account ms up to a very large number and then "says" reset and start counting again.  I know you want to START the loop as close to every 10 ms.  Yes, using data flow, take the number of cycles first, perform actions, then return the number of cycles.   The second time of the tick read that you are in a nested loop that does not stop until you get 10 or more difference on the number of cycles.

And, on the off chance that you must achieve "return" on the tick counter comes stops the nested loop then move.  (if the second measurement is less than the first, then the tick counter handed.  If you miss this situation while you'd have to wait a long time for the condition of the difference > 10 in the reunion, basically locked in the loop.

    ***

You could put the EMO sequence, we have seen, in line with data streams.  Before or after the second control of ticks will not make much difference in terms of 10ms.  I would put it after checking the tick, again give the user more time to hit the EMO if necessary.

    ***

I put in a queue for the stream error and removed the other stuff.

  • Calendar menu and loops

    Hello world

I do a few menus animated photoshop first, and then with sequelae. (and then in still of course ^^)

The duration of the menu is from 03:00 (three minutes) and I want to repeat since 01:30, but I also want my buttons are enabled to 01:00; and here's the problem; in fact I already seen and read even in assistance from adobe that this is clearly linked.

Quote from Adobe using: "buttons are inactive until the video reaches melting point loop."

Is it possible to activate the buttons before the loop point please?

Thanks for the help; do not hesitate if you have any questions or if I was not clear enough.

    Good day

do you mean that I should do menu two, one with activation keys, which must be performed only once, and then another menu that will run about 1000 times with a loop at 00:00 point?

If the Mylennium does not fall right away, I think that this is what he hears: menu 1 will be active buttons at the beginning or at any time you wish. His action to end will be a menu duplicate, 2.

It will be the motion 'closure' of the loop point (which is really the beginning for this menu) and the buttons will still work. You set the looping to 'forever', unless you really want to say 1000 times!

Still need to create two backgrounds menu still in this scenario? If so, I would create a second motion for menu plus 2 that starts where you want to start for menu 2.

    Hey t5dashc,

Thank you for being a part of the communities of Apple Support.

I see your message you are trying to play your music in a sequential order, but it is up to chance.  This behavior is indicative of the shuffle option is enabled.  We will shuffle off in the music app and try to play the music again:

When you play a song, you see a player at the bottom of the screen. You can continue to browse other titles to find the next perfect song.

Press or drag upward on the drive down to see the current reading and controls screen.

    Then stir and repeat

Also on the playing screen, you can go back, put in pause or fast forward a song, control volume, playback of the song, lyricsand more.

Swipe up on reading to display your queue up next, that lists all the songs that you have selected for the current playback.

Drag the songs with to rearrange the order, or swipe to the left to remove a song you want to ignore.

Press on to the right of the next place to mix the songs in a playlist or album.

Type once to play entire playlist or album looped or twice to repeat a song. Type a third time to remove the repetition.

Use of music music Apple in the app

    Take care.

  • Lightning Calendar continues endangered

Lightning Calendar disappears after updates. Don't know if it's just the updates Thunderbird, lightning updates or both, but it often disappears and won't let me reinstall. The icon disappears. When I look into addons, it is not displayed. When I try to add, I get a message that will be enabled when you restart. When I restart, I get the same message and it is not installed. Just gets stuck in this reboot message loop.

I tried following the instructions in a number of positions to cancel the uninstall, delete profile folders and nothing works. The only thing that seems to work is to remove the calendar information, using something like Mozbackup to save my profile and reinstall Thunderbird. Gets the time some.

Windows 7 and Thunderbird 38.3. It has happened since early August 2015.

    Thanks for any help.

Don't know if this solves the problem, but I survived an update by lightning. First saved everything with MozBackup. Completely uninstalled Thunderbird. Reinstalled thunderbird in safe mode and restored profile. Update survived and keep your fingers crossed

    Please, back up all data.

Quit the server application and drag it to the trash, but don't drain. You will be prompted to confirm that you want to stop all services. You won't lose any data.

If you use the DNS server, temporarily change the primary DNS setting in the network to another DNS preferences window.

Replace the Soft where he was and run it. Test.

Restore the DNS parameter, if any.

  • Calendar synchronized with Diuble pulse using PCI-6601

    Hello

I'm trying to run a PIV of Labview 8.5.1 system using a PCI-6601 map at the exit of the signals for the laser and the camera.

This requires a line for the camera, one for the FPS (first removal of pulse) and one for the Q-switch.

The difficulty is in the need of a double pulse on the Q-switch for mode double frame PIV.

The distribution box that I use is not one NOR one and I don't have access to 3 outputs four against, otherwise, quite simply, I would use a BNC t with two pulses slightly staggered junction.

I have access to a BNC-2110 timing box, but I think it is not compatible with the PCI-6601 and have no funds to buy a BNC-2121 right now.

I managed to create a double pulse by using one of the counters with a finite number of impulses set to 2 and then stop the task, then run this in a timed loop.

However, it is then based on the software, which is not precise enough for the application, and I can't figure out how to get the timed loop to run from the time of 20 MHz of 6601 map base.

I could be missing something obvious here, or perhaps is more annoying? I'm fairly new to DAQmx.

    Thanks in advance

    Joe

Dominic makes a good point about the operating system, but really the best solution is to use the hardware timing when possible.

I have set up an example that shows how you can implement different sets of impulses finished using the calendar of the Commission.  It requires the use of two meters, but then again a generation of impulses finished the fact (on the 6601).
Communities: Generate several Cycles pulse finished using two counters

Alternatively, if you have another signal that you want to use to trigger each set of pulses (rather than to specify a rate so that they occur as in the example above), counters on a 6601 are redeclenchables then you can use the external signal to trigger the generation over time and time again without having to stop the task in the software.

    Best regards

  • question of myRIO sequential clip

    Hello

I realized a CLIP, and I wonder how to implement it.

The vhdl code is used to send data on the falling clock edge and read in the data on the falling clock edge.

Send and receive takes about 30 clockcycles. The code is based on a state machine and starts to send once an enable signal is given. Transmit/receive all the bits, he returned to idle.

I read that the CLIP would go even if it is not placed in a loop. However, when I do a test vi that has an LED connected to a few outings, it seems that it is only launched once? Or is it actually running, but the LED is not updated? I don't know how to implement is.

Use this CLIP in a time loop of single cycle? He would still use the fronts and the clock edge? And it would cause problems because it is sequential and combinational not?

    Thank you for your help.

    kind regards,

    Bastiaan

    Hi Bastiaan,

You read a 40 MHz signal each 25ns. So that means that you will read the same value of the signal in each iteration you will always show the same value and you will have a consistent performance. In order to get a signal to the correct frequency on you must perform the loop with a frequency of at least double the signal. You can create a clock FPGA derived in the way that this article describes. Use a clock of 80 MHz for the SCTL.

    http://zone.NI.com/reference/en-XX/help/371599H-01/lvfpgahelp/creating_fpga_derived_clk/

Let me know if it helps.

    Kind regards

    Tom
