Serial Windows 7

Hello

I request serial I/O texts CVI v7.0 and worked with happiness for a while on a Windows XP computer. The user has just updated the PC to Windows 7, and while the application is able to receive data it does not transmit orders relaibly via the built-in COM port.

Are there someone knows issues with CVI/7.0 applications running under Windows 7?

Thank you very much

  • Can I change the default settings for the latency time Serial Windows with LabVIEW

I have a wireless data collection device that my business is that I am using for the test one of our other wireless products. The device sends data series to a PC via a USB port. I wrote an automated LabVIEW program to test all the functions of my new product. However, after firing in the data, I realized that the serial data coming very fast and requires me to change latency of Windows by default for the port COM 16ms 2ms Miss not nothing. It's pretty easy for me to do locally on my machine, but much more difficult for me to spec for an off-site CM.

Is it possible to have my LabVIEW program change the latency time of the COM Windows port of 16 ms to 2 ms automatically?

Are you talking about the FTDI driver? I know that they allow these changes through registry settings. Thus the approach would probably be to have a small registry script that updates the parameter of function. Most likely, this will have to be run with elevated privileges, as these parameters resident generally in the HKLM or HKCR rather than the HKCU one hive.

  • Serial Windows 8? (Hard drive broke!)

    Hello
I have a problem with my Hp laptop (HP ENVY 15 j034el Touchsmart): my hd is broken, so I replaced it with a new one.
Now how can I have the serial number of my original version of Windows 8 to reinstall? In fact I can not access the recovery of broken hd partition...
I read that contacting the provider (HP) and communicate my product code I can receive the license... is this true?
I hope that you will help me!

Pre-built computers such as HP, Sony, Dell, Gateway, etc. which are pre-installed with Windows 8 have the Windows product key encrypted and embedded in the BIOS and do not come with a COA sticker. Please see this Microsoft Community message titled "None COA included with pre-built - PC does matter?" For more information on the subject. Communicate your 'product code' for HP you cannot receive the license, as is already in the computer BIOS.

When you first set up your computer, you must have created your personal HP recovery media. If you create your personal HP recovery media, please contact the official support of HP in your region / country, via the HP portal to support all over the world, to see if the HP recovery support is available for your computer.

Alternatively, you can try this download of Windows 8 OEM; http://www.Google.com/URL?SA=t&RCT=j&q=en_windows_8_x64_dvd_915440.ISO&source=Web&CD=1&CAD=RJA&SQI=2...

It's an unofficial "official authorized copy of Windows 8 OEM" and will also install Windows 8 Pro OEM. Download this file, burn it to a DVD. Set the BIOS to use UEFI, enable 'Secure Boot' and disable 'Legacy Support... If these options are present. Boot from that disk and install Windows 8. It should register as an official copy and use the key embedded in the BIOS.

  • SERIAL WINDOWS XP RE-INSTALATION__

I'VE BEEN ADVISED THAT AFTER A WHILE WINDOWS XP BECOMES UNSTABLE AND SHOULD, PERIODICALLY, BE REINSTALLED (2 YEARS?).  SINCE IT IS A PAIN IN THE END TO DO, BEFORE I DO, I WANT TO KNOW IF IT IS REALLY NECESSARY. IN ADDITION, IF, THEN, WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO DO THAT WITHOUT LOSING ALL THE SET UPS (IF POSSIBLE).

    SEE YOU SOON.

Please do not shout. It is difficult to read all selections.

The advice you received was bad. In most cases, it is never necessary to reinstall Windows. If you have specific performance problems, let us know what they are so we can guide you towards fixing them the right way.

  • Can I use my serial Windows Photoshop CS6 on a Mac?

I recently bought the CS6 for my pc.  Now I have a Mac and am wondering if I can use the second download on my Mac.  Adobe will deliver me a Mac version?

No.. A license is for PC or Mac, not both. You buy the Mac version. However, if you are willing to give up your PC license, according to me, what a kind of deal "crossgrade" could apply. You will need to talk to Adobe directly.

  • Contrast adjusts constantly itself - really annoying

I have recently upgraded to Windows 8 on my laptop serial Windows 7 Vaio S (SVS151190S). This computer has the hybrid common graphic to Vaio Laptops, with a nVidia GeForce GT 640 M THE and Intel HD 4000.

My question is this - whenever the display shows something dark (examples: movies, screen, pop up UAC start), after a second the screen allows you to set the contrast. Everything seems ridiculously faded, dark TV shows I watch turn crazy and I don't see anything because the shadows are so dark and icons and graphics that were not changed when the display shows something dark become illegible. It is terrible and I can't seem to find a solution to this.

I disabled all parameters Adaptive brightness that I can find, including the VAIO Control center application and contrast "Adaptive" in the Intel Graphics Control Panel. This problem has occurred in Windows 7, but is CONSTANTLY happening in Windows 8 that's why I'm here. It of really, really annoying and completely ruins the experience. I looked for answers online, but they all seem to be describing a fix for the Adaptive brightness.

If anyone has AN idea of what is happening and how to fix it, any input would be GREATLY appreciated.

    Hi William,.

I suggest that you use the graphics card, one at a time and then check the issue. Disable a graphics card and check the issue with another enabled graphics card.

Make sure you have the latest driver of the two graphics cards. You can use the link given here and find NVidea driver.

    http://www.nvidia.com/download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

Follow the steps here to turn off the graphics card.

    (a) press the Windows key + X.
    (b) select the peripheral Manager.
    (c) expand display adapter . Right-click and select sand DI.
    (d) to restart your computer.

Look for the question. Repeat the same steps for the other graphics card and check once more the question.

Note: it is not necessary that two suitable graphics will be presented under the graphics card. Look under sound, video, and game controller.

Write to us with the status. We will help.

  • Bought the upgrade to CS6 and cannot install

I'm on a new MacBook Pro with OSX 10.8.2

When I click to start the download of my purchase window process, they open and show in a new window "Akamai NetSession Download Manager", download 100% and then when it says "Download Complete." "I click on"Download bundle"and a window will open asking" "Photoshop_13_LS16 (2) .exe" "is a file that was downloaded from the internet." Are you sure you want to open it? "I click on 'Open' and nothing happens.

I tried to delete the downloaded files and redownloading them 3 times now, and the result is the same every time.

    Whenever I have download, I get two files: Photoshop_13_LS16.7z.part & Photoshop_13_LS16.exe

When I try to open the .exe file I get the error message: cannot open the application "Photoshop_13_LS16.exe" because Microsoft Windows applications are not supported on OS X. When I try to open the .part file I get the message, "there is no ready application to open the document"Photoshop_13_LS16.7z.part". and it asks me to choose the application I want to use to open the file... but the Akamai is "unclickable".

    Help?

Well, download the Windows version's useless eitehr way. The part files are just that - a partialyl downloaded. Get in touch with support to get the correct Mac downloads. In fact, chances are that you also have been sent a related serial Windows, which of course. won't work, either. Anyway, nobody here can resolve this kind of things, you really need to contact support.

    disappeared.

I have the Toshiba serial number, how do I find information for windows 7?

    Thanks for your help.

Hi, I'm also in the same boat.

Try to do a HARD drive recovery, but my post got renegade to the subforum "valorisation" (where no one responds to the month) even though I submitted it specifically on win7 forum.
    A link for those interested:
    https://Forum.Toshiba.EU/showthread.php?88336

That's what I've learned so far...

Option a. You have the recovery disk media or a partition:
You're lucky and you won't need the product key anyway (it won't be asked during the installation it is 'embedded' kind of talk in image of toshiba).

Option b. You deleted the partition or replaced the drive and does not follow the manual where Toshiba claims that should have backed up the recovery partition that you probably didn't know that you had in the first place:
B1. Congratulations, you've reached 80% of the users of this forum which will remain unanswered!
Here's my sanity check even if the product key was visible on your sticker it would still "invalid" since win7 iso doesn't work for 'standalone' keys then the key to your Toshiba is "pre-installed", i.e. If you do not use the installation of official manufacturers, the I am afraid to say, the key that you have already paid is well... useless!
B2. But don't worry not toshiba has covered you! for an affordable price of 60 euros, they can send you the installation that you have already paid for.
... Wait there's more. Unless you don't have you can use the language option when you try to buy your recovery media. Perhaps, it is still ok if you are ready to learn to finish!

    Good luck ignoring!

P.S. for stealth Toshiba employees here: never underestimate the damage that an angry customer can bring to your brand!

I have the serial number of this laptop and an old toshiba warranty - Europe.com

Even if you would be able to read the key to series of windows 7 that appears at the bottom of the unit, this will not help you will activate another Win 7 system.
It is an OEM key that belongs to the preinstalled image and does not work under the other system.

  • Desktop HP Pavilion p6310y: need standalone Serial ATA Drivers to install Windows Vista on Pavilion p6310y

I bought your desktop Pavilion p6310y on eBay, and I really like it. I installed Windows 7 Ultimate on it without problem. For the purposes of running the software (in particular, Microsoft Virtual PC 2007), I also want to install Windows Vista Ultimate on it, on another partition.

I was under the impression that Windows Vista Home Premium 64 - Bit was originally installed the operating system when this system was released, however, when I start the installation support Windows Vista (which I created from a downloaded ISO), it requires additional drivers (no doubt, Serial ATA drivers) before instalatio, also no hard drives appear in the drive list. Anyone know where I can get these independent Serial ATA driver files? The controller is a NVIDIA nForce Serial ATA controller. I do not have the recovery of original installation disks and don't think that it would be possible to get to this point, this system is no longer supported by HP.

Any help would be appreciated. TIA.

    Mark W. Stroberg

    Hi, Mark:

I compressed upwards and tied the driver for the sata raid controller, you require to the nvidia chipset, that your PC has below.

The best way to install the driver is as follows...

Extract (copy) the files on a USB FlashDrive without any folder.

With the flash player and the support of Vista installation in the machine, boot from the Vista installation media.

After selecting the install now option, select the training - Advanced menu, Options and select the option load a driver.

You should now see the storage driver files listed.

If you check the box, it only includes the compatible driver.

Follow the prompts and I hope that Vista will install.

I am trying to upgrade to windows 10. I won my windows product key (authentic, same windows installed when bought new by Argos) via the CMD prompt: wmic path softwarelicensingservice is OA3xOriginalProductKey and the 10 windows update tells me that the serial number is incorrect / not valid (I type the code correctly in the update).

I try to install fresh ISO, all other methods have failed. I believe that this is due to the verification of product key.

    What is going on?

    Please read this thread:
    https://Forum.Toshiba.EU/showthread.php?83853

Your laptop has been preisntalled already active Toshiba image container system.
You must perform the upgrade (not a clean install) to get 10 Win.

Also, Toshiba does not provide the serial key to activate the systems becase the system is activated automatically conneting the laptop to the internet.
