I had nothing else problems since buying this printer 2 months ago. We have a router from Apple and Apple OSX El Capitan computers running.
Wireless problem: the printer continuously indicates he is not connected to wifi, and the wifi worked very well. I followed the guide to troubleshooting well too many times now. I have to turn off the printer and unplug the power cable so he can reconnect, and then it stays connected for 1 to 2 minutes.
Print line probem: when I get the connected printer jobs hanging up in the queue and almost never print. If they print, it may take 10 minutes before the first page prints. Yet once, I followed all the troubleshooting steps.
I also reset the printer to the factory settings and uninstalled the SW on our computers, then reinstalled. The same problems remain.
I never had such problems with any device. I hope someone has a magic answer. Yet once, I tried the troubleshooting of all HP articles. they have not helped.
Since the 8610 is near your router, you can connect a cable between the two ethernet?
For the static IP address, take a look at the #3 solution in this link.

Cannot print on 8620 via the option on my network wireless
I have 3 computers with Windows 7. The printer works great as connected USB printer.
the wireless set in place works very well and gets an IP address from my router wireless (an old LinkSys G wireless).
I can't ping the printer. It does not appear in the ARP table. I'm trying to set up a wireless connection, but the software cannot find the printer.
Curiously, when I search for networks, I found that the printer was broadcasting as it's own wireless gateway. I can connect to it, but she has no internet connection. When I try to add a new printer, the software detects the printer and allows me to add it. Then I can print to it wireless. the IP address of the printer is different from what the HP software found when I set wireless upwards, on a totally different subnet.
I doubt that this is the way it is supposed to work, to drop out of your own network to print to the network printer.
In addition, you can access the new IP address and all set up.
Any suggestions on what to look for. should I change something in my router?
I was able to remedy. the fact that she printed on the subnet for printers, but not my subnet routers wireless was off the tip.
I had to disable the Isolation AP on my router. I didn't know that it was running. After turning this off, so I could find the printer and print all 3 laptops. Not a firewall issue.
Thanks for the reply.

Update wireless Toshiba Satellite S1900-303: what wi - fi card is compatible?
Hello
I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite S1900-303.
I would like to add a Mini PCI WiFi card, the laptop is capable of wireless, as it was an optional upgrade. The wireless antenna is here and the switch and the PCI slot.
I tried using a 2200 GB Intel Pro/Set wireless card but may not turn on,
So I tried a (number PA3458U-1MPC) Atheros wireless card but I can not pass it as well. There is no option in the Bios to enable
I tried Fn - F8 to swith the card wireless on but nothing happens and the wireless light not, but if I turn on the wireless switch, then press Fn - F8 it came as "Wireless has been disabled, please make sure that the wireless switch has been turn on.
Any suggestions? What could I have been hurt, or did the two cards are incompatible with this laptop?
If so what Wireless mini Pci card would work?
Thank you
Hello
I found the info that the mini PCI WiFi card part number: PA3212U-1MPC could be compatible.
There seems to be an Intel Pro 2100 wireless network card that supports the 802. 11b standard Wlan.Best regards

T61 Wireless does not not after installing updates of wireless and electric management
Few days back I have updated my T61 (via ThinkVantage - update my system) and there was 2 updates related to:
(1) wireless
(2) power management.
Since the update, my wireless is not working. I tried to uninstall and install the wireless driver. I have created a new home network, but nothing helped. Radio off and on. Ethernet connection works fine
Wireless adapter is: Wifilink Intel 4965AGN
OS is Win XP with SP3
Was wondering if anyone else has experienced similar problem.
Thank you
Harish
Thank you all for the responses.
After trying various combinations, below think fixed my problem
1. on my DLink router, change the level of security WPA2 only (previously the WPA2-PSK)
2. then I changed the setting wireless on my T61 such that Windows would be Manager wireless
It seems that the question was a tug of war between Lenovo and Windows tries to manage wireless.
Its been 8 hours now and I do not see the symptoms so far.
Thanks again.

My HP Connection Manager opens with the message that my WiFi (Wireless LAN) is disabled permanently, but I have no problem to connect my computer to the signal from my Belkin.b23 plug in router set wireless. I am able to browse internet while I'm typing. Should I worry about this message? If so, I don't have the first clue about the activation of this feature.

1. don't you make changes to the computer?
2. which version of the operating system are you using?
3. What is the full error message you get?
4. do the icon windows brand of task red bar see the notification in wireless?
Try to uninstall and reinstall the HP Connection Manager software and check if the problem persists.

HP OfficeJet Pro 8610: Printer cannot connect to the new wireless network
I got the OfficeJet Pro for a while and everything worked very well (including wireless printing from my Mac and iPad AirPrint). Yesterday, we got a new Modem Router (from Ubee). As I tried to connect the printer with the new network, I fail miserably.
Here's what I've tried several times: on the small screen of the printer, I select: Network Setup > wireless setting > Wireless Setup wizzard. The printer seems to networks, find the network and asks me the password, I get the password (I did this several times, so no typos!). The printer then "trying to connect to the network"... then it crashes: for a very short moment, I get a blue screen with a white error code (not always the same, for example.) B3FF3802) and then the message "error in the printer, turn off the power, then press.
I turned off the printer and turn it back on several times (incl. pulling out the power plug and restart after a while), but when I go through the steps above, but I just get the same endresult.
I deleted the old network as I feared it might interfere with the creation of the new network. No noticeable effect.
I printed the "results of the wireless network test," which confirms that "your HP printer is unable to connect to your wireless router. In the results of the diagnosis, he states that 'network name (SSID) was found - Fail.
I quite understand the message that the printer detects the network and shows good SSID / network name. I thought to enter the SSID manually but can't find where I could do.
I'd be very grateful for any suggestions on what could be the problem (I can't imagine that the printer would not work with a new router... I searched the internet and found stuff on 'Hello compatibility', but do not know which is the issue I'm facing.
Thanks for your help!

How to connect my Canon MP 495 to a new wireless network?
I have a Canon MP 495, which worked without any problems. We moved into a new House and I have a new wireless network; I can't the printer reconnected to the new wireless network. How can I do this? The drivers are already installed on the computer.
Hi 1cor29,
Since you have changed the locations, you will need to reinstall the drivers on your computer to connect the printer to your network. We reinstall the printer using the latest drivers on the Canon USA site. Before reinstalling drivers, you want to make sure that the LAN setting wireless on the printer is enabled. To do this, press the Maintenance key (it looks like a pair of pliers and screwdriver) until the symbol that looks like 'G' appears on the LCD screen, then press the
button to activate the wireless LAN. Once the wire has been enabled, please click here to access the DRIVERS AND SOFTWARE for the PIXMA MP495 page. Once the initial download to your model page, follow these steps:
1. check that the operating system detected in the "OPERATING SYSTEM" drop is correct and if this isn't the case, please click on the drop down menu to select your operating system.
2. then, click the red arrow next to the "RECOMMENDED FOR YOU" section and click on the drivers of MP file. When you do, a red DOWNLOAD button will appear. Please click the box below the button DOWNLOAD, and then click DOWNLOAD to start the download. The time for the download process can vary depending on the speed of your Internet connection and the size of the file being downloaded.
Once the file is downloaded, please double-click it to reinstall the printer. Once the drivers have been resettled, you should be able to print.
I hope this helps!

WVC200 - is there a way to check if wireless actually at work
Hello
I tried to implement a new WVC200 purchesed for quite a while now. I don't run no problem via an Ethernet cable. However, I'm unable to configure for Wireless, despite a work of wireless network with a desktop computer and 2 laptops connected without problem.
With the help of the installer on the CD I get the last part until the changes are saved - registration fails with the message:
' Save the configuration failed!
Please chech your network condition.I also tried setting wireless upward through the utility of Web browser without success. My network use WPA encryption and read some of the messages here, I wondered if that was the problem. However, I got the same error when I used WEP then tried to disable the security on the network.
Here is what I use:
camera - WVC200
router - Thomson TG585I wonder if wireless is currently working on the camera in the first place and if there is a way to check this before you spend more time putting in place.
concerning
Hi icebreaker
Thanks for getting back to me.
I have successfully upgraded the Firmware to the last available on the site - I don't have the camera here to confirm the version number but the updated Firmware has been reported in the Installer application.
WPA AES, which is what the Thomson router seems to bear and I noticed that the camera was looking for TKIP. However, I tried with WEP and no security to test, with no luck either. I am steady with the camera within 10 feet of the router and receive an error message. check the status of the network and the network seems not yet to "see" the camera as such and the wireless LED is not turning on. That's why I was wondering if the wireless was defective.
Thanks again

Hi all.
I'm really sorry to post this question, I must have read 100 other threads on this topic, but none of the solutions seem to work for me.
I have a home set wireless network in place, which may not have a lot of problems with it that I have a laptop W7 which has a perfect wireless connection, and also our TV connect when you want, as do our phones and Xbox.
We bought a second hand Acer aspire laptop for our daughter. It is running Vista Edition family Basic. Even if she had the factory reset done on this, because we can connect to the router with an ethernet cable and it works very well, we managed to ensure that all updates of Windows etc are all complete.
When trying to connect wirelessly, it says connection successful, but it is to a Public unidentified network, and there is no Internet. Also, even if it says Local access, we cannot connect to the router settings page is.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the built-in wireless adapter and updated the driver to do this, he says that he is as up-to-date as possible.
I checked that DHCP is enabled, we tried dynamic and static IP addresses, we have disabled and re ipv6 enabled, we used the command prompt to reset winsock and stack ip, I looked into msconfig services for service # Id_String1.6844f930_1628_4223_b5cc_5bb94b879762 # Apple off but it isn't here.
I have a real dislike for Norton / products McAfee and there is none of these on the laptop. We will install Comodo Internet Security, Eusing Registry Cleaner, Spybot S & D and Spyware Blaster as soon as the wireless is configured and that the Windows Firewall is disabled.
We also have many turns of the spin off the coast and laptops, etc. and deactivation and activation of the adapter.
It seems that all the usual solutions for the lack of connection are not the culprits this time.
IPconfig for W7 laptop that works well is:

Norton or McAfee pre-mstalled of recovery of the manufacturer media?
If so, did you uninstall it AND run the tool to remove the appropriate product manufacturer?
Download the Norton removal by https://www-secure.symantec.com/norton-support/jsp/help-solutions.jsp?lg=english&ct=united+states&docid=20080710133834EN&product=home&version=1&pvid=f-home

2nd router security wireless settings
Hi, hope someone can answer this for me.
I have a WRT 610N - and I just set up a 2nd wireless router (E3000) to extend the range of my wireless network.
Same SSID, same subnet, DHCP off etc. Everything works very well. The network passwords I set identically.
My question is: what security settings should I apply on the 2nd router? for example I have MAC address filtering on the main router connected to the internet, the WRT 610N - should I ask this on the E3000 also?
Thank you
1. wireless filtering MAC is useless anyway. Do not put in place. It only of the problems to you. (You need to put in place on all routers/access points)
2. setting up personal WPA2 with AES and a strong password. It is safe.
3. set up the identical SSID and security setting wireless on both for a roaming network.
4. choose different channels at the same time, if you use static channels to avoid interference.
5. check that the SSID broadcast is turned on.
