Server 2008R2 dump file help

Hey gang,

I have a Windows server 2008R2 who just restarted on its own earlier today, causing a minor breakdown for about 13 k user and I did almost nothing in the logs as to why he did so. The only messages in newspapers were the following:

-L' system shutdown before like 12:25:43 01/10/2014 was not planned. Event ID: 6008

-The system has rebooted without judgment properly first. This error can be caused if the system unresponsive, crashed or unexpected power loss. Event ID: 41

I hope that you can be able to watch the log dump (see link below) and give me a better idea of what can happen. Thanks for help with this.

I use rsh to my Linux server to run Windows applications on a Windows 2003 server using .bat files remotely.  For example, from Linux:

I want to be able to rsh to a Windows server 2008R2.  I installed SUA and the SDK and utilities.  I also installed the patch from this link:

  • The server 2008R2 very slow file transfer speed

I have a server 2008R2 with 32Gigs of Ram and core 2 Quad processors.  When I copy a large file (200gigs) of a directory and paste to another local on the machine, transfer speed is about 6-10 Mbps.  Anyone know why this would happen?  It also happens on my virtual machine running the same operating system to 2008R2, but with the 2008R2, it is limited to 4 logical processors.

    Thanks for your time,

This phenomenon was related to BdfNdisf6.sys Firewall NDIS6 BitDefender filter driver.  I would remove at least to test.

Also and you need to update to win 8.1 as there are many, many bug fixes, it is more secure, etc.

  • Can we import data to the server target directly without creating a dump file

    Hi all...

We choose to pass patterns to the target server using the data pump in Import/export.

in the normal case, I use that way

    1. export the drawings required in the dump by customer 10 g file.
target 2 - required import patterns directly to the server.

but when I'd rather pump data is faster and easier.

but I have a problem here when I export the file from the server only and this file is large (schematics size 80 GB) of data.

then I need move this file to the target. I don't like it. It will take more time.

I heard of network link. Can I use this function to import data directly to the target server.

    My big concern here time.

    Thanks in advance

Yes, if you use the option NETWORK_LINK that no dump file is created on the source server or destination. I would say that the time to complete the task is directly related to the infrastructure of network between the source and destination hosts.

  • "Error 1402.Could not open key" during the installation of Adobe reader or acrobat in server 2008r2

This error has been reported previously and in the PC, the solution is to go to the MSFS file.  In the registry of the server 2008r2 software / CurrentVersion / run: there is no OpticalComponents/MSFS.

    Really need help.  Thanks Chris

It seems that this problem was created because I used the clean windows on this server uninstall utility before the utility was removed by MS because it caused this error.  There is a registry fixit solution to restore the default permissions that I found that has worked for others.  Itself will follow the appropriate section.  Thanks Chris

Follow-up http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315263 to use WinDBG to read crash dump files. The analysis of dump in WinDBG output is displayed under my immediate questions - thanks in advance! :

    1. is the problem because tdx.sys (legacy driver problem) or klim6.sys (Kaspersky)?
    2. If it is due to klim6.sys - should I uninstall Kaspersky?

    Hello Hanning,

Windows allows to fix corrupt or missing files it finds. If the information of the installation CD is required to fix the problem, you may be asked to insert your Windows Vista CD. You can get the well-known files from your dvd to the BONE. Have you this? If this is not the case, try a system restore. If it does not always help let us know that you can download and ISO of here: http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recovery-disc-download/ but the use of this software to burn your ISO. Link: http://download.cnet.com/Active-ISO-Burner/3000-2646_4-10602452.html?tag=mncol, let us know if this allows you to get your drive. Follow the instructions. Let us know whether, if that helps you. Make it a great day!

  • Server 2008R2 Task Manager will not run the task

    Hi all

I have problems with automating a task on the server 2008R2, I have a limited user on my server which account is used to run a media server (Twonkymedia) and a home automation program called "Domoticz".

Because I don't want the user to have access to the normal system resources, it always takes administrator privileges to run the program and access to the database, because I don't want to manually enter credentials of Directors whenever this user logs that I taught on the automation of this with Task Scheduler.

I managed to create a task that toured to launch applications with admin credentialsb (simply by using the command runas in the path did not work) but once I connect and the still as the "limited" user task that has a shortcut placed in the startup folder does not start specific applications When I open the Task Manager to diagnose errors, she appears as running.

I installed all the up-to-date available/updated service packs to Server 2008. I downloaded the installer msi Windows from php.net for php. While I'm very Windows compliant networking (MCSE, 20 years experience), I am an extreme novice when it comes to php and am not a programmer. I'm having problems of three 3-1) I don't know I have installed php, or installed correctly. How can I tell? I installed CGI and related features/services on Server 2008. (2) when I double click win-cgi, nothing happens, that's why I think that I can not have installed php, or installed correctly. I'm trying to run a php script open source that creates a social networking/dating site. I edited php.ini file as indicated by the script installation instructions, but when I try to run the script, I get the 3 third) problem with the following error message:

    You have 4 error (s):

    (1) Please install "PDO" PHP with MySQL driver extension.

    (2) Please install graphics 'GD' extension PHP.

    (3) Please install the PHP 'cURL' library

    (4) Please install the PHP "mbstring" extension

I placed the php files in a folder called "PHP55" and confirmed that the files are in the folder. I am running MySQL Server v5.6. Help, please. I don't know what is missing or what I'm doing wrong. If I had hair, I wouldn't. I would have released it now. So all that remains is to decide what temple for pointing the gun at. I think that the resolution is simple, but not sure how to solve. Please post your questions and answers here, or respond directly to: * address email is removed from the privacy *. Thank you very much for your help.

    Kind regards
