• Why do I get a server busy message to start XP?

  When I start XP I have a little saying server busy dialog box even if I do not have a server. It is said that cannot perform the action because the other program is busy and gives the option to switch to the ambitious program, or retry and ends by disappears on its own.

• Add Server 2012 R2 Server Manager servers dialog box problem

  I have a problem in 2012 R2 Server when you add a remote server to all server management interface.   Using the dialog box add servers to add a workgroup server (no configured DNS server), I added the problem of server using the IP address.  A dialog box appears that says "can't resolve host would you like to add it anyway?  For awhile do this, I clicked 'No', but finally clicked on Yes and the server by its server name has been added.

  However, I can not access this server remotely, make sure that it is in the list of approved first hosts.  I have the correct IP addresses and have firewall advances for troubleshooting I can connect on the server locally with an administrator account.

  Removing the server from the remote management console, and then add that it does not solve the problem as server name solves always in the dialog add a server with the credentials apparently wrong.  It is the only server of four that I made this mistake, the other three work great after choosing 'Yes' to add the server non - solve anyway.

  My question is, how do I clear the credentials of server 'broken' out of the 'Add Server' dialog box to the server properly.  The added server is another Server R2 2012.  I changed server names and addresses IP, but the dialog box always detects the server with the new information and still not will not properly add it to Manager remotely.

  And the idea of how to do to erase the old credentials?

  I hesitated to experiment, but it seems that you can select a "remote" at the same time, so all I had to do was click on the customer.

• How can I replace the mime types of server, always get the mp3, rar, sid, bin files directly in the dialog box "where do you want to save this file?"

  I used to be able to click on MP3 files, the way back when, and Firefox asks where I wanted to save. Nowadays, it opens a new tab with a flash drive.
  By clicking on the "unknown" files, like .sid, .prg, .zip, .rar is ' this is a BIN file. [Cancel] [Save] ». It does not give me a check box for "always do this".
  I would like that option to edit so that certain types of files, such as PDF, regardless of mimetype, always get opened in a new tab if you click. Also some types of files, based on the extension, always go directly to the dialog box "Where you want to save the file?", without worrying if there is a viewer or a builtin player or not.   Hi all

  I noticed that in 7 captivate the learner has more need to click on the 'Post result' button in order to display the dialog box in which they type their name and e-mail address to and then click Send. This dialog box appears automatically as soon as the learner's test results page.

  I really like this as a feature, but now I don't want to show this dialog box if the learner has failed the quiz. I tried implementing a "Quiz Impossible" slide and setting a conditional action when entering Test slide to move to the Quiz results could not drag if the CpQuizInfoPassFail variable is 0-, but this doesn't seem to work.

  Someone else has an idea on how this can be achieved.

  OK, finally I got a workaround for this solution! It seems that Captivate all is not like using the variable CpQuizInfoPassFail in the slide of the Test result.

  So I created a user variable called PassOrFail. Then added a normal slide (no quiz) buffer and positioned between the last question and slides of the Test result. For action on enter the slide of buffer, I have a tip action - 'Assign PassOrFail with CpQuizInfoPassFail' and 'go to the next slide.

  Action on enter for the slide of test results is an advanced conditional action... "IF PassOrFail is equal to false, jump to slide... ('you don't have the test' slide). Captivate seems to prefer it much more and then actually jump to the slide.

  DoubleVerify (http://www.doubleverify.com/) looks like an advertising company. It is possible that there is a glitch in their script, or that it is in conflict with an add-on.

  A common cause of errors in script does not work on Windows 7 is the feature of mode of the Flash player plugin. This feature has the security benefits, but it seems to have serious compatibility problems on some systems. You can disable it using the page modules. Either:

  • CTRL + SHIFT + a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

  In the left column, click on Plugins. On the right side, find 'Shockwave Flash' and click on the link for more. Then uncheck the box for "Enable Adobe Flash protected mode" and try it for a day to see if that helps you.

• Windows 7 Home Premium - cannot change the user name in the authentication dialog box

  I was hoping someone might be able to answer a question on how to get a computer running Windows 7 Home Premium to display both the username and password fields when attempting to authenticate on another Windows computer.

  Here's the situation: allow us that the leaders and other members of the staff allowed our Organization to establish a VPN connection to our corporate network (via Fortinet Forticlient, for what it's worth.)  Once the VPN connection is established, on the remote computer, the user must be able to access the UNC path to our file (\\servername\share) server.

  Because the remote user has not yet authenticated on the domain Active Directory of business, a dialog box should appear to the user input a user name and password.  Enter the user name (domain\username) and password and share should open, and the user must then be able to access the files in the share.

  I (and several other members of the staff) have been using this method successfully to access files via the VPN connection, and it works very well.  However, it does not work whenever the President of the company will connect to the VPN from his computer at home.

  Whenever the President connects the VPN and attempts to access the UNC path, he reports that the dialog box which appears on his computer at home has only one field for a password; the user name field appears to be on his local user account, and it doesn't have the ability to change.  (I have him asked if there is an option 'use authentication information', and he declares that there is not just a dialog box with a single field, the field of password.)

  The President is running Windows 7 Home Premium on his computer at home, so I thought that the problem could be because he was running this edition of Windows.  However, I have installed VPN client and test the connection on the server share file using the computer of my wife, who is also running Windows 7 Home Premium, and I received the two fields as expected authentication dialog box and has been able to authenticate to the domain successfully and open files from the share with no problems.

  Does anyone have recommendations on what I can try to allow the President to authenticate successfully to our server share?  I am confused, and it is eager to be able to get remote access to files on his home computer.

• Cannot delete the file on the remote server (Business Catalyst)

  Hi, I am trying to delete a file on my remote server (Business Catalyst), but I get an error message (log of the errors below).  I can delete the other files in the same folder.  In addition, the permissions are the same on the files I can delete and one that I can't.  I can not remove this file with FileZilla, either - get a similar error message.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.  This is a template file and I really need to be able to delete or modify it.  Thank you.

• Bug in the advanced Recordset dialog box?

  I have setup a site using the ASP VBScript server technology. Somehow, in the advanced Recordset dialog box I have the ASP.NET option with the parameters instead of Variables. According to the documentation should not display the settings window when using classic ASP. Its almost like Dreamweaver I'm using ASP.NET.
  
  When I test the retrieved recordset object data are correctly with my access according to the SQL DB. I tried to uninstall Vista Microsoft IIS support ASP.NET. This reduces the options of server technology during the definition of the Web site; but still no change when choosing ASP VBScript or ASP advanced Javascript - the Recordset dialog box still says SETTINGS VARIABLES not? Anyone know what could be the problem?

  The answer will depend on the version of Dreamweaver that you use. The update Dreamweaver 8.0.2 moved to the parameter type of the Recordset changes dialog box in the manner in which the recordset is constructed. The help documentation for DW8.0.2 does not seem to have been updated to reflect this change. You see the old style dialog box, if you go to:
  Help-> using Dreamweaver-> Dynamic Pages do-> define the Sources of dynamic content-> defining a Recordset-> creating a Recordset advanced by writing SQL

  So if you are using Dreamweaver 8.0.2 or later (CS3 is the next version), then you will see the settings in the dialog recordset in ASP, and you know what you are supposed to see.

• Downloading a file, application/octet-stream mime type, I always get the dialog box "do you want to save to save this file?" Cancel or save.

  A number of us use a private site where run us an application in offline mode. The application offers a download button so that we can take a snapshot of our progress in offline mode, a sort of backup. When we'll be back online you can either download the information from the application or we can load the backup files.

  The problem is that every time we hit the download button, we always get the additional dialog box asking if we want to save or cancel the download of the file. It may sound a little silly, but we really do not want to have to move the mouse to the new dialog box and click on the "Save" button.

  The mime type of the file is application/octet-stream, there is no file extension.

  Is there a way to change the configuration of Firefox so that this dialog box does not appear?
