Server connection error:-1

I restrained this forum and I tried everything I could find and has been suggested.  I can simply not the web-based applications to connect.

1. I have restored factory settings

2. rebooted router

3. Enter the IP address printers 192.168.1.84 and began to establish the connection.

4. Add a static DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

5. I restarted everthing in the House.

I always get the same exact error for the server connection error:-1 when I try to access the web based apps.

These used to work fine and my daughter loved print his page 'of the day. "  It has just stopped one day of work and no matter what I try it will not connect.

However, the printer works fine on PC Windows 8 and the iPad or the iPhone.

Please help as we would like to again access coloring Disney pages.

Well, try to change the network ipv4 only protocol

you need to get the ip address of the printer first, and then open any web browser, then try typing the ip address of the printer on the url, after that go to the network tab > networking > network protocol > check on ipv4 only > apply

If it does not work.

try going into the menu of web services and delete web services and then re-enable back.

PS: it will remove the ePrint printer address, you can no longer use the same address of electronic mail of the printer, if customize you it.

  • Web Services problem - server connection error

    Hello world.

When I try to enable Web Services, I get an error. I am connected to internet (WiFi) and the connection is ok.

    The error is:

    Server connection error

The printer could not connect to the server. Check the internet connection and try again, or enter a proxy address.

I do not have a proxy, and the internet connection is ok! Why do I have this problem?

    Thank you very much.

We will set an IP address of the printer:

-Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
-Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
-Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). You can find the beach DHCP from the router using its internal settings page or in its manual. Use the CD that came with your router or type the IP address of the router (ends para.1) in a browser.
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Enter the IP of your router (on the Page of the Network Config) for the bridge and the first DNS. Let the second white.< the="" dns="" could="" be="" your="" problem.=""  if="" this="" does="" not="" work,="" try="" google's="" dns="">
    -Click 'apply '.

Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

After that, you will have to redo 'Add printer' using the new IP address.

  • Server connection error

Series of photosmart HP 7520. -J' am trying to scan a document to send and keep getting the message "server connection error" despite the fact that WiFi is showing as connected. I'm not very good with technology! Can anyone help please?

Hello Alleycat1. I understand that you have a problem scanning to e-mail, about the connection to the server. If you follow the troubleshooting in this HP document, the issue should be resolved, as it contains troubleshooting for this error message: http://h20566.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/kb/docDisplay/?sp4ts.oid=4022328&spf_p.tpst=kbDocDisplay&spf_p.prp_kbDocDisplay=wsrp-navigationalState%3DdocId%253Demr_na-c02524629-11%257CdocLocale%253D%257CcalledBy%253D&javax.portlet.begCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&javax.portlet.endCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken

If these steps do not resolve the problem, I would like that you follow these troubleshooting steps (assuming you're the App on the front panel of the printer):

1 Select the Web Services on the Panel forward, then settings.
    2. Select "delete web services" and wait as the services to be eliminated.
    3. Once finished, you will return to the home page.
    4. Select the Web Services icon on the printer and go through the steps of installing Web Services once more.
    5. you will receive a more recent code. Later, you can use this code to add the printer to your account eprintcenter.com hpconnected.com / using this code.

    6. you can, or that you may create another email address.

    7. try a different scanning to e-mail using the app.

Please notify me when all troubleshooting is done, and I'll continue to help you if necessary.

  • Server connection error: 403

I need a solution for the server connection error: 403. I know that there is a work around.

Hi Straightlake, I want to help you with the problem you are experiencing. Could you please tell me what printer we work with as well as the operating system on your computer?

    Thank you.

  • 403 server connection error.

I have a HP Photosmart 5520 connected wireless to a MacBook Air. (Wireless through an Airport Extreme) Everything worked fine and now when I try to scan to e-mail, I get a "Server Connection Error 403." I downloaded the latest software drivers Apple to HP and no change. Scan to computer works, but not scanning to e-mail. Any advice greatly appreciated.

You may need to perform a full semi or partial reset on the printer. This will completely reset the printer to the way it was when you bought it. However, I can't post those steps on the forums because it is against the policy of HP.  If you are interested in these steps, let me know and I'll send you a private message with them in it.

    Thank you

  • B210A Photosmart - server connection error and does not connect to the wireless router

I have problems setting up and to connect my router to my new printer b210A. Everything goes well with the initial configuration, and when asked to connect to the network at the start, it works. Then he said that the printer requires updates, downloads of updates, reboots, asks me if I want to activate eprint and as soon as I said 'Ok', I get a "the server connection error" and it is then no longer connected to the network. When I get out of the "server connection error" screen and attempt to reconnect to the network, he says 'Success', prints a Test report wireless, but never connects.

It's the 2nd printer that I have had in a week, given that the person of HP online chatting told me my first printer had problems of "hardware", after experiencing the same problems and I'll be recommended. So - I did, and now I'm running into the same issues. The number of 800 was NO HELP - after recommended I have unplug and reconnect, then telling me there were server errors (when the printer was not connected to the network).

We will set an IP address of the printer with a special focus on DNS domains:

-Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
-Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
-Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). You can find the beach DHCP from the router using its internal settings page or in its manual. Use the CD that came with your router or type the IP address of the router (ends para.1) in a browser.
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Enter the IP of your router (on the Page of the Network Config) for the gateway

-For the first DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for the second use.
    -Click 'apply '.

Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

After that, you will have to redo 'Add printer' using the new IP address.

  • Photosmart 7520: Scan to email - server connection error

Apologies for another post on this subject, I worked my way through the various fixes but none have worked.

Scan to e-mail worked very well - we use it quite regularly. Then, about 3 or 4 weeks, we got our first message "error server connection." I'm not aware of nothing to bud in our home network, where we use the printer.

A moden is connected to an Airport Extreme (82.1.132.1, DNS 194.168.4.100 IP / 194.168.8.100). The printer is connected wireless. We can print and I see that the printer is registered on the network.

    I tried:

    1 Manual IP and DNS: IP 10.0.1.249, DNS 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4

    2. as stated above, but DNS changed to 194.168.4.100 / 194.168.8.100 - the same as AirPort Extreme

    3. automatic IP (10.0.1.7) but manual DNS (both variants above).

After each change, I stop, wait and restart the printer.

    Hello

    My apologies for jumping.

For HP to feature Web Services, firmware ELM1CN1607AR must be installed for the printer.

Download and install the latest firmware below, then check for the difference:

  • Photosmart 5520: Scan to email: server connection error 403 (with app and scan)

I scanned to send several times than I can count, but a few days ago, I get nothing other than the error "connection server 403 error." I checked the forums and someone said to go into apps and download the application. It did not work. I rebooted and tried everything, which he expects. Yet, nothing. Is this error to do with something outside as the real servers HPs - or is this something internal that I can fix it? I went as far as I can without resetting to factory settings (which I am fearful because I recently had the country code has changed on this issue and do not want to return to the country of origin), someone has any suggestions other than what I've sifted through the forums already?

  • 403 on photosmart 5520 server connection error

Me too I have a 403 error code on my photosmart 5520. I have the router off turner & 5520, I have a connection, but still can not scan to e-mail.

    Hello @TPGJT,

Welcome to the forums of HP.

I understand you are having a problem connecting to the server when you try to scan to e-mail.

    I would like to help.

I recommend that you set a manual DNS.

I had the most success when using Google's DNS address.

    8.8.8.8 primary school

    Alternate 8.8.4.4

The post following happytohelp01 has instructions for a manual DNS configuration.

The post is for a Photosmart 7510, but the procedure will be very similar.

Re: Efax 7510 still will not work after having extinguished/turned-on ePrint several times

You can also view ePrint/Apps connectivity troubleshooting by PrintApper.

He has a few good steps in troubleshooting for this type of problem.

If you experience problems or have questions about one of the steps, please let me know.

  • HP Photosmart 5524: Server connection error 403

    Hello

Can someone help me with the error message above, I keep getting when trying to scan to e-mail please?

He was perfectly fine until last week.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall the printer software/driver. I tried the email address and add it again. I tried to unplug the power supply and then plugging it again.

It drives me crazy, please help

    Thank you

    Hey @newstar81,

Welcome to the Forum from HP Support.

I see that you are unable to scan to email with your HP Photosmart 5524 e-all-in-one printer.  I would like to help.  I have a few tips that could restore this functionality.

When users encounter this type of problem, I recommend that they start from scratch with their configuration.  You can reset your wireless, webservices and scanning to E-mail settings is one fell swoop by the factory default restore * printer.

    * Note that this step resets the setting up your printer wireless, address ePrint and other custom print settings. If you have created a custom address @hpeprint.com it is permanently erased.  For more information about custom addresses ePrint, click here.

Here's how to fill this reset:

    • In your printer's front panel, press the key to
    • Touch tools
    • Touch restore to factory settings

Then touch the wireless icon, run the Wireless Setup Wizard to restore your network connection, and then tap the Webservices () and reactivate your webservices.

If you are able to successfully reactivate your webservices, tap on the icon of your printer wireless () and make a note of the IP address of the printer.  Then, follow these steps to configure a manual DNS:

    • Enter the printer's IP address in a web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer) and press ENTER to go directly to this page.
    • Click the network tab.
    • In the submenu on the left, click Networking.
    • Then click on the network (IP) address.
    • Click Manual DNS server.
    • DNS preferred as 8.8.8.8 manual entry
    • Auxiliary DNS server entry as 8.8.4.4
    • Click on apply to finalize this change.

Then, tap the scan icon and enter the e-mail address you want to scan to.  Then, recover the PIN than you should automatically receive and complete your scan to contact the installer.  Ideally, if you are able to get this good service will be fully functional.

Please let me know how the troubleshooting went by responding to this post.  If I helped you to solve the problem, feel free to say "You rock!" by clicking the "Thumbs Up" icon below and by clicking to accept this solution.

Thanks for posting in the Forum from HP Support.  Have a great day!
