Looks like it's something on the computer. There are cookies that must be removed individually from the Firefox profile.

To do this, go to the Firefox Menu, tap Preferences, then tap privacy and then delete cookies or cookies see the. You can search the sites that gives you problems and remove them. Restart Firefox.

It could also be that you add a DNS server for your connection. 8.8.8.8 is google, but I don't know if this would affect given that the server is not found, not that there is no link, that's why it does not sound like a connection problem, but a cache problem. • Time of beginning of stream / or server not found with FMIS upgrade

I recently upgraded from FMS 2 - FMIS 3.5.  Through our videos stream of internal network like a dream!  However, to access them from outside our own network of the ways they take 20 seconds to load, or sometimes just get a message saying that the server is not found.

It wasn't a problem with the FMS2 and there were no changes to the firewall settings or something like that since the old server was running without problem.  I have new server set to use exaclty the same ports, but wonder if there are a few other parameters that could be the cause?

Setting in network is not really my area of expertise, and I have no idea where to start looking to improve things.  Can anyone offer some suggestions as to why this is happening?  Would appreciate any help.  Thank you

This 20 second period makes me suspect and the question with links in the port. It is typical for the Flashplayer to take about 20 seconds for the attempt on port 1935 to exhale and try to use port 80.

In your fms.ini, you have the adaptor.hostport of the value? Also, is there anything else running on the server that could handle port 80... Maybe a HTTP Server? If so, what is the environment? IIS, apache, windows, Linux, etc.?

Also, in your event logs, you will see errors of FMS, suggesting that it cannot attach to a specific port? In windows, it will appear in your event viewer... not sure about Linux.

You could try connecting to the server with a port defined in the url...

    RTMP://mydomain.com:1935/application/instance

    and

    RTMP://mydomain.com:80/application/instance

If you find that either do not always succeed, he suggested that a port is occupied by another application, or FMS is not mandatory to all IP addresses or ports configured for a reason any.

  • try to download firefox, rpet server not found, no problem with IE or AOL, tho

Cannot understand this, because I can't have with IE or AOL - no problem connecting. When I click on download it opens a download window, but then nothing happens. When I see a log (don't remember where it was), it's when I see the server not found. I am NOT focused on the technical side, so... Thank you!

    Hey,.

What browser you try to download from Firefox? You're going to Mozilla.org to do (and if not, you know what to do now!)?

  • IE8 works very well but IE11 doesn't work, Firefox shows "server not found".

A neighbor gave me his Dell Inspiron One Win 7 Home Premium all-in-one computer because she said he was in trouble and she didn't care.  All problems are associated with the internet that programs requiring only not the internet seems correct.  I have access to wireless internet. I ran diagnostic system to a test and all the material and the memory removes very well.

He ran IE11 when I received and would not have access to the internet at all.  When I removed the IE11 update and back to IE8 it can access the internet but does not download another browser (Opera, Chrome).  I could download Glary Utilities and run a full scan which showed no problems at all, but I can't update the installed version.  The same question applies to Malwarebytes which States that it is impossible to access the update server.  I managed to download and install Firefox, but when I try to open Firefox I get the response "server not found".  I have disabled the Windows Firewall.

The default browser in IE8 is Bing and when I ask for more suppliers, none are listed.

  • I tried everything, but I get "SERVER NOT FOUND TRY AGAIN" when I try again his connects. What is the prayer of the problem. N ".

I tried everything but keep getting "SERVER NOT FOUND TRY AGAIN" when I try again once it normally connects. What is the problem please

    This can have several reasons:

first make sure that your firewall/security software allows firefox to fully access the internet.

then you can try the solutions (proxy settings, the change of dns server) provided in this support thread: https://support.mozilla.org/de/questi.../704934

If this does not help, also try disabling ipv6 as described here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Server%20not%20found?s=server%20not%...

  • Work around for server not found problems on FF36

I found a work around for all people with server not found problems with FF36.

If you manually set your DNS network adapter to an external DNS server (as opposed to your local ISP) then the problem disappears. I set mine to use the google DNS servers:

     Preferred: 8.8.8.8
     Alternate: 8.8.4.4

No idea why this works, but it is 100% success on my desktop PC, whereas before I could not connect to a Web page with FF36 without updating the multiple page and a lot of frustration, although FF35 was fine and back to FF35 turnover was as beautiful.

Something has changed in FF36 and how it manages the DNS or the mode of operation with certain network cards.

There is nothing to do with the Add - ons, profiles or software firewall as I tried all these things and that the DNS change makes a difference. I even copied on a full profile and directory of program files to work for Mozilla on my laptop which saw no problem and the problem still exists on the desktop, which is why I started watching the network adapater since everything between the working PC and no work was identical.

I hope that this will help the developers to identify the real cause of the problem and fix it in the next version.

AG - your problem looks different you had FF36 work.

Considering that the problem of many of us that when we spend FF35 in FF36 we get a lot of server is found errors when you try to load Web pages.

Sometimes they load and then they stop loading and then if you click Refresh a lot that they sometimes then charge again, or you have to wait a minute or two and then they load.

For some reason any using an external DNS server {see # 698286 answer ~ J99} has stopped this problem completely, as does return to FF35.

We need an expert on to Mozilla DNS resolution to focus on this. [*] See my note under ~ J99 Seems to me that you use an external DNS server adds some latency to name resolution and maybe this is necessary for the network card in the PC that encounter this issue to resolve the addresses of Web page.

Obviously something changed in FF36 FF35 to cause this problem. I'm open to Mozilla contact me by E-mail if they want me to try something else to help pin it down.

    *

    change Note the John99
Mozilla can consider WHETHER we are able to provide evidence to support this. We must be able to complete a report of bug with right steps to reproduce (STR). Developers should be able to see themselves the problem before we can expect to focus on this.

  • Firefox server not found problem

When I opened my new links on Google search results pages, sometimes I got the pages 'server not found '. I had to refresh twice like that to get the pages loaded. I searched online solutions and I had tried to disable the antivirus, turn off DNS prefetching, uncheck ' web Sites Tell I won't be subject to a follow-up ", disable IPv6 in Firefox, restart it with disabled modules, but they have all failed. I found that there is no problem to use Google DNS. Help thanks.

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}
    While you are in safe mode;

Type of topic: preferences #advanced< enter > in the address bar.

    Under Advanced, select General.
Find and stop using hardware acceleration.

Search web sites secure. Are there problems?

    Then restart.

When you click a link, first check in the small storefront
at the bottom of the screen. Is it correct? After clicking, you end
to the top on this page?

  • Can I go back to the old look error messages 'server not found '?

After the Firefox 32 update, I noticed that the "server not found" error messages look differently now. I don't like the new look, so I wonder if you know an add-on that restores the old look. I tried to search for him, but I don't know the name of these error messages, so I don't know what search phrase I should use.

Thank you very much for your answer. The solution in the thread link you to seems to be a bit too complicated for me, so I guess I'll have to live with the new error messages (unless the add-on you link is updated to work with latest versions of Firefox, but that seems unlikely). Thank you anyway for your help, however.

  • When I try to go to about.config, that it just goes to 'server not found '.

I'm redefining the default search from the address bar on google from something else. I understand that I need to go to about.config etc. But when I type in about.config he goes just to 'server not found '.

Hello shelody, it's:config (with a colon).

  • Firefox redirects to google when server not found

If I do a typing error in the address bar (for example, instead of www ww), instead of getting a message saying that the site is not found, Firefox started to take me to a page of Google search for the URL I typed in.

Also, if I click on a link in a web page and the server in the connection no longer exists, I should get a message saying that the server is not found, but I'm redirected to a google search for the domain name in the link. It's confusing.

Firefox redirects to google when server not found [SOLVED]

Previously published in thread https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/925517 (now blocked to I can't update it with the solution - maybe someone can add this solution to that thread?)

Firefox redirects to google when server not found

If I do a typing error in the address bar (for example, instead of www ww), instead of getting a message saying that the site is not found, Firefox started to take me to a page of Google search for the URL I typed in.

SOLUTION: This was caused by the http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk EasyFundRaising toolbar (which I think could rest on the Google toolbar?)

After disabling this plugin, the problem disappeared. I have notified the EasyFundRaising to this issue.

  • Constant problem: first time, a link is clicked: server not found. Refresh page and the server is immediately.

Foxfire regularly gives me the error message: server not found - BUT if I hit refresh, the server 'not found' opens immediately 99.9% of the time. It's really annoying. Happens several times per session, but not every time I click on a link.

Maybe you have a problem with IPv6.

  • Search page does not. When I click on the blue writing take research, it says server not found after trying to connect.

I am running XP using firefox (SERVER NOT FOUND) also tried IE (PAGE NOT FOUND or some THING LIKE THAT SAME PROBLEM AS FF WORDED DIFFERENTLY) only the address bar will allow me to do the research. When I click on the blue writing on page research he always says server not found. Need to copy and paste website address or manually type in the bar. System Restore said I need to contact my domain administrator to access, what's new. Also even when you use the firefox address bar began to plant on a regular basis. Clean the cookies and cache without change. Tried a few other things start and run reset win socks or something don't me remember now has failed. Also a CBC site I just think appeared at a closed point, but he continued to hear that it works with no visual representation on screen had to reload. Tried changing to IE and changed to yahoo from google without change. This server not found - cannot find 1clicksearch.p.info or something. Check the line workoff checkbox is not a factor. Any help would be appreciated. Also, using service pack 3. I also tried an older version of firefox before IE, I noticed also wasn't yet cleared all the info like bookmarks which would focus on the old version. Not looked at proxy made no difference to no automatic option tried proxy. I did a lot of research using the address bar and search pages site address I found similar problems on son but not what I treat exactly. Also when I type in the box on the google page often the google search button and the button enter won't take me to the search page and I have to use a top bar or hit, I feel lucky. This last problem, according to me has been on for a while, but not much more than a problem.
