Service & Iconia W3 Micro USB

Bought new in September at office Depot with Windows 8.

Micro USB worked for a week, they have not able to connect to anything.

Have tried to connect with 3 cables different & 3 different laptops

I couldn't make it work.

Sent to Acer - they said that it was working fine & sent to me.

The computer SCIENCE Department at my office could not get it to work.

He sent to Acer for a second time - they said it worked very well and sent it to me.

It took Office Depot and they could not operate & called Acer.  Response is sent in there and everything would be fixed.

So we sent it to Acer for a third time.

I received it on Friday and again once they say it has been tested and passed all their tests.

Unfortunately I still can't connect what either via Micro USB.

Is there something that I am missing as a magic button to push?

Any help or explanation why his does not work would be appreciated.

When you say "three different phones" it might like you wait to do a data transfer as with an iPad or Android tablet. Bottom line is that you can not without a special cable. The W3 is a Windows Tablet and designed to operate as a stand alone with accessories and use shares network or ad-hoc to connect to another PC.

Seethis explanation of what is required to create a 'link' USB and to highlight the danger of using a simple USB cable.

  • Toshiba still 8 Micro USB does not, does not charge

I have installed Nokia PC Suite on my Toshiba Encore 8 tablet and connected my laptop Nokia C1 via micro-USB on my tablet.

Since then, my Toshiba still doesn't recognize not the USB port, two usb devices or, more important, for the load.

My tablet is now only 8% load, and I need to get the USB charge function working again while I have still a few charges left in the tablet to make the necessary changes (drivers, BIOS etc.)

Can anyone help before my Tablet becomes a brick died without charge to the left?

    Hello

Looks like we have a similar problem, although I have a different tablet model (AT10-A) and I did not install anything whatsoever... still, I'm having the same issue on the micro-USB port: it does not recognize the Chargers and USB connections with my laptop. To the point where it says 5% battery. I'll try to keep it connected to the charger, even if the Tablet does not seem to see it.

How can I test if the battery is really in charge?

Have you received support from Toshiba?

    Thanks and best,

  • Load connector micro usb Lenovo K900

    Hello

I'm going crazy with the charger sent by lenovo with my K900.

I found a diet with a Micro USB type B cable in the box, but the entrance of the phone type is A. There are problems of loading of the phone.
Why lenovo sends type micro usb B cables if the phone requires cables tipe has?

Should what kind of cable I buy exactly the battery properly?
    Micro USB type A?
    Micro type USB OTG?
    Or what?
Lenovo can provide the right cable? Or where I can find it?
Why Levovo designs some good phones but then you lose in this nonsense?
Do you want that I come and work for you?

Well. I got a cable micro usb A type, the situation improved but still not satisfactory.
I'll take a replacement USB charging port Dock Connector and I will replace the connector Micro USB type a weld on a Micro USB type b.

  • Possible to use 19.5V 1. 2A charger micro usb to load aspire switch 10?

I have access to a charger micro usb to load another Tablet Windows, it uses 19.5V 1. to load instead of the standard micro usb 5v 2A.

Anyone know if this could be used to recharge than my aspire switch 10?  Or at least it will damage if I try?

I'm not really an Acer rep, just a member of the community who has been quite active (and I assume quite OK ) to have obtained the status of Acer Ace. That said, anti-war of the benefits of being an ACE of the Acer is the occasional chance to play with the new machines after they are introduced. I got to play with a Switch 10 for several weeks after their initial introduction...

The problem with a micro USB charger is that the Switch 10 is not designed to load throough the USB port. take one of the many Chargers 3rd party designed for Switch 10 (and many other models of Acer Tablet).

  • Cannot use the Micro-USB port on the coming Pro 11?

    Hello

Can I use the micro-USB port to a mouse or other device (with Dell micro-USB to USB dongle for tablets)?

Bought one as advertised and does not work...

    Thank you

Hey guys, it seems that there is still much confusion over the functions of the port mictousb on the place of the 11 sessions pro.

Anyone know if it is possible to use it for anything other than recharging? An OTG cable connected I have here doen't work on my 7130, but on ebay, some sellers here in Germany offer small hubs with OTG funcion specially for this model:

    http://www.eBay.de/ITM/kwmobile-3In1-micro-USB-hub-adapter-fur-Dell-venue-11-Pro-Schwarz-Verteiler-Kit-/361194175623

Does anyone know for sure who is the truth?

EDIT: also, as the microusb port has the logo of bolt on I guess this is the port used for the powershare function (if this feature is enabled in the BIOS). Does this mean I have to buy a microusb to microusb cable to recharge my mobile hollow 11 meeting places powershare function?

Yes, you can connect but it won't work. The Z10 has the ability to read / write to a USB connected to its port. This port is only for charging and synchronization.

The Z30 has other hand this ability as well as the ability to attach a keyboard full size to him...

  • BlackBerry Smartphones micro USB compatibility

I got a Black Berry Bold 9700 my company so I can't ask any question to my seller. I hope someone can help me.

I would buy an extra USB cable to have a cable at home and another cable to the office (especially the battery). Due to the policy of the company, we can buy accessories only from a supplier. There are several USB cable available from this provider, but one dedicated to Black Barry. The Original of this cable code is: ACODBBYMCRUSB (I don't know what that means "Original Code"). It is compatible with the following BB:

    Pearl Flip 8220

    Javelin 8520

    Curve 8900

    Storm 9500

9700 "BOLD" is not mentioned. Can someone tell me if a compatible with BB models above cable is also compatible with the Bold 9700?

More generally, is it true that the Bold 9700 USB microphone is not a standard micro USB cable? It is the shape of the plug or is related to the characteristic of the cable (impedance etc...)?

If the power plug is a standard, could someone tell me which are the characteristics of the cable so that I could buy generic provider mentioned micro USB cable. In particular, I found:

    -IC Intracom Manhattan CABLE MICRO USB 2.0 - USB 4 pin (M) - Micro-USB 5-pin - type B (M) - 1.8 m (USB/Hi-Speed USB)

This cable is suitable for BB Bold 9700?

    Many thanks in advance,

    Giona
