  I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find a service manual / engineers Guide to a Satellite L30? I have a hinge broken on my laptop and Toshiba have been very useful in helping me find spare parts - via "Topaz". They also have a bargain at only £8.00 + postage for a pair of them. However, when I asked questions on ' how to ride them? the two have become rather "not useful"!

  And I really do not feel like paying PC World £219.00 what they cited to adapt to them!
  I have no fear to open and play with the innards, but any help or "pointers" would be appreciated gratefully.

• HP Envy M7-k211dx: where is a service manual for the HP Envy m7-k211dx?

  I just bought a HP Envy M7-k211dx with the 5th generation I7 processor and can't find a manual anywhere for it.  HP service manuals provided for this computer on the HP support site are not for this model... they are for the HP Envy 17 T.  My computer has a sterling silver case and is not removable individually on the back for hard disk components and memory.  The manuals provide does not offer any information on how to remove the case to access the secondary hard drive bays or to upgrade memory.

  How HP can sell a computer with any of this information?  Does anyone know where is a real repair or how to open the folder to access the secondary components of disk and memory hard?  Please, any help is appreciated.

  Hello, all. I was given just a Pavilion p6226f who was on his way to recycling when the friend thought of me. Now, if I can fix it, it's mine. I don't have any information yet, or manuals. I know he has Windows 7 on it, but that's all. My questions:

  1. I tried to find a manual, but couldn't find one yet. They are downloadable on this site?

  2. where can I find a list of key functions F which uses HP? They are standard (and standards still exist)? Total noob here.

  3 HP integrates a function of recovery on a partition on their readers?

  4. could you recommend a guide to troubleshooting somewhere that I can follow?

  It says on the specifications there are two user accessible memory locations, but it does not say what the maximum memory! I am interested in adding another 4 GB of ram to my computer, but if she can't manage I prefer not to waste my time and money trying. Help finding my maximum memory would be greatly appreciated!

  Info upgrade memory are in Chapter 1, page 2.

  Make sure you get a memory 4 GB module with 8 small black memories on each side of the PCB, not 4.

• Ability to upgrade memory for laptop zt3040 Pavilion

  I currently have 512K (2 256 DDR 333 CL2.5 modules). The technical system page in the help and Support Center says that the max is 1.0 G but why I go to the modules online sellers they indicated that there is a maximum limit of 2 G. I am running XP SP3. Does anyone know if yes or no phone accepts 1 2 modules or should I just buy and install 2 512 modules?

  When I read the service manual for the laptop, it says that the memory is expandable up to 2 GB (2 x 1 GB) DDR memory.
