Forms [32 bit] Version 10.1.2.3.0 (Production)
Oracle Database 11 g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.1.0 - 64 bit Production

Hello

I have a form with an configuration master block as a tabular layout. In this block, I have a button that calls a form of sub with the detail for this master block records. What I'm trying to do is change the color of the button for this specific record if it has detail records. I did it for another form, but in this case, if I set the color property for the button to change the color for ALL buttons in the page layout table (since it is the same element) is possible to change only the color of the button on the document that has a record detal and not the rest?

You use the built-in function of Set-point-Instance-property and set attribute plastics (PV) to change the appearance of the button.

    Hello

    I use a collection to dynamically change my interactive report.
    But I need to get the names of the columns in my query to display the right-hand column headers.
    So I created the elements for each of them: P13_C001,: P13_C002,: P13_C003, etc. to give their value to my columns on the report.

    And I tried one before process header:

    Thank you for your support!

    This bug should be fixed in the 4.5 SDK. Please use the latest version of the SDK.

    My environment is FlashBuilder 4.5 premium and its SDK 4.5 default value. Everything goes well on my machine.

    This seems to be a problem for a long time with the Lexmark printers who has just started to happen in Firefox 4.

    Check out this thread for support for a solution that has worked in 2006 for a similar problem with another Lexmark printer. I hope that something like this will work for you.

  • How to set the value of a * APPLICATION * with apex.server.process?

    If I have a page named point P1_MY_PAGE_ITEM, I could put its value in the session by doing this:

    $s('P1_MY_PAGE_ITEM', 'I Like Pie!');

    apex.server.process(   'dummy'
                           , { pageItems: "#P1_MY_PAGE_ITEM" }

                                          var ignoredReturn = ajaxResponse.responseText;
                                     }
                             });

    Which works very well. If you check the session, the P1_MY_PAGE_ITEM will now have the value: I like pie!

    However, if I have an Application element (not a page element!) named MY_APP_ITEM, how could I do the same thing? How can I use apex.server.process to set the value of MY_APP_ITEM in the session? I wouldn't be able to use "pageItems" because MY_APP_ITEM is not a page element, it is a part of the application.

    What is the correct syntax to do this?

    Thank you

    -Joe

    Hey Joe,

    Returning to that thread you made a couple of months ago, the answer is here:

    Post adjustment Application items in the apex.server.process for a * process application *.

    Defining a point of application is as easy as providing the name of the application element to p_arg_names Bay and set a corresponding value in the p_arg_values table.

    For example, in an application with article SOME_ITEM of the application, I can put the value as follows:

    (function(){
    var arrNames = [], arrValues = [];
    arrNames.push("SOME_ITEM");
    arrValues.push('some value');
    apex.server.process(   'dummy'
                         , { p_arg_names: arrNames, p_arg_values: arrValues }
                         , { dataType: "text"
                           });
    })()

    Any required application process. Should the item be free that you set it from the browser.

  • LR4.1 - tone curve - how to set the individual RGB channels?

    Hello

    I can't find out how to set the curve of different RGB channels.  I guess the LR4 tone curve works as the dialog box curves PS with the channel drop-down list.

    LR4.1 help says:

    To make adjustments at different points on the tone curve, choose an option in the menu of the curve of points, click the button change the curve of points , and then do one of the following:

    • Choose an option from the popup menu of the channel. You can change the three channels at once, or choose to change the red, green, or blue channel individually.

    When I click on the small icon in the lower right corner of the Panel curve tones, the Panel shrinks while I do not see the sliders of regions.  If I click again, they are visible again.  I can't find where to select one of the three channels indvidual.

    Aid refers to the "Point curve menu."  Where is the menu Point curve?  The curve of points is different from the tone curve?

    If I right-click (Windows) in the curve dialog box, the shortcut menu has an option show information.  I click on it power and don't see any change or any info.  Where should I look for info?

    Thanks for any help here.

    John

    Hi John,.

    The curve of points is without cursors. The settings for the individual channels are only available with

    PV2012. You must be editing a file with PV2010 or 2003. When to PV2012, you will see "channels: RGB" under the window of the curve. Click on the triangles of doule following RGB

    for each channel.

  • Setting the value of an element of Application (defining a global variable);

    Apex 3.2.0.00.27, I need to initialize a global variable to 0 to implement a variable to test to see if something on the page has changed. Will update to 1 when some lists of selection on the page are changed. Read through a few similar questions and answers within the forum, as well as blogs and other sites. So, I think that what I do is the way forward in this regard. Unfortunately, my point/global application initialization is not past yet. Here's an overview of what has been implemented:

    1) has created an element of demand, G_CLASSIFICATION_ID_NEW in the shared components.
    (2) created the Javascript (JS) function called by addLoadEvent area header html page so when the page is loaded, the application global/G_CLASSIFICATION_ID_NEW element should be set to 0 with the following JS and using AJAX and htmldb_GET:

    < script type = "text/javascript" >
    function initVars()
    {
    Alert ("before the initvars get");
    get var = new htmldb_Get (null, $x('pFlowId').value, null, 22);
    Get.Add ('G_CLASSIFICATION_ID_NEW', 0);
    gReturn = get.get ();
    {if (gReturn)}
    Alert (gReturn.value);
    }
    get = null;
    Alert ("after get initvars");
    }

    Alert ("before the call to the initpage");
    addLoadEvent (initVars ());
    < /script >

    I used the htmldb_Get successfully to populate other global variables and processes on request with onchange THAT JS call in the attributes of html form elements select list on the page. Later, I check the globals via the Session view and research on elements of Application. Unfortunately, I'm missing something, because my G_CLASSIFICATION_ID_NEW never gets filled when I load the page. The Alerts popup every when the page is loaded, so I know that the script is running when the page loads. alert (gReturn.value) is not defined. And, of course, the G_CLASSIFICATION_ID_NEW to 0 does not place.

    I tried the htmldb_Get with her call for a process of application and without (null value). What I read, you should not need to call an application process to have the get.add of the value of the global variable. Here again, this could be where I'm wrong. However, as I mentioned, it works for the other functions called from an onchange to fill a part of the application, but the page has already loaded when the onchange (s) executed. They can work because the page is already loaded when the onchange is called. My point here is that my other on application processes are NOT set or modify global variables at all. The globals are preparing with the get.add (< element app >, < value >) part of my other JS works within the HTML header area. So I'm inclined to believe that I don't need 'application_process = < some_odp >' set parameter, but if it is not true, please let me know. If so, what should be in the application process-that is to say, what would be the purpose of the get.add (< application item >, < value >) if I set the global variable in the application process on because it's the only thing I could think to do within an application process on for this?

    If someone can point out what I'm not understand or, failing to do it here, that would be great. I am doing fine with APEX, but don't consider myself a guru with it immediately. I'm certainly not a JS/AJAX guru, and when things like that, go astray, I get bogged down because I'm not sure of the problem. So, I hope that you gurus who monitor this forum can get going in the right direction.

    Thank you
    Bob

  • MASTER DETAIL - SET THE DEFAULT VALUES FOR ELEMENTS

    I have a page master detail where, on the master, I do things like update the fields entered_by and entered_date
    by applying functions to define item-level details and the read-only setting.

    On the portion of the page detail, I would do the same thing, but I don't see the point of page details - only master items.
    The portion of details is for comments so I wish I had the commenter_name and commenter_date the value of the values
    When I hit the Add button line on the portion of details.

    Where are the elements of detail?

    I use APEX 3.2

    Thank you

    Steve

    Hello

    When you use the master detail form, APEX build "Detail part" in the report. So if you edit the page, you won't see actual items for 'Party detail'

    If you want to set default values or want to format these items, you may need to perform like this

    1 > edit 'report' of the "retail portion.
    2 > click on attributes report
    3 > click on the column, you want to set default values
    4 > now here, in accordance with article 'Tabular form Element' you can do this by setting appropriate in 'default' type fields and "default".

  • Set the Item properties during execution

    Dear all,
    I want to develop a partially dynamic form (same form will read different tables and different details dynamicaly).

    In the meantime, I am able to view these details on the screen in the form of character values. Now, I want a way to modify the other properties of these items.

    Here's the perperties I want ot change.

    Item type: Element point text, number, Date
    Label of the element:
    Format mask:
    Width of point:

    In Oracle Forms, I did something similar to this. Here, I used SET_ITEM_PROPERTY integrated procedure. So here I am looking something equalant to this Summit in.

    Thank you

    One way to do that would be to use the different elements and show them only under certain conditions.

    You can change some properties and some of these properties in JavaScript (like width) as type can be changed but need separate codes for different browser (change of the item type) after having made. Some properties of the apex can take the chains of substitution.

    You can create an item by using the APEX_ITEM API in a PLSQL region, or even go further by running the code using an ondemand/PLSQL code dynamic Action and then insert the content generated for the page HTML using Javascript.

    If you are on apex 4.0, the best way to do that would be to use a plug in type element that can take these attributes (taking to strings of points/substitution of page) and generate the HTML based on these settings and attributes. That would be probably the most flexible, shouldn't any other code page JS, no debris/relics anywhere on the page indicating such treatment and no change in the javascript code PLSQL page process (which depend on the name of the element)

  • With the help of 10 elements with iPhoto

    I've always used iPhoto 11 on my iMac for my photo editing and organizing, but have decided to expand my editing capabilities / organized by purchasing 10 items, which I've just loaded successfully.

    However, when I click with the right button on a photo in iPhoto 11 and select "Edit in external editor" - even if it opens the workspace of 10 items, the picture does not appear.

    I also tried to change the preferences in iPhoto (Advanced) to the use of 10 items. Still, when the edition is selected in iPhoto it opens the workspace of 10 items, but not the picture.

    Any idea what's going wrong here? An alternative is to drag / drop from iPhoto to 10 elements editing workspace - which works, but I shouldn't do this, should I?

    Probably, set you the Welcome screen as an external editor:

  • dynamically set the onclick event in setAttribute with bbui

    Hello

    what I want to achieve is to create an onclick event in a ListItem which is passing a variable to the function of bb.pushScreen (). I have it?

    1. after a loading screen, I created a dynamic list with items that have an onclick event.

    listItem = document.createElement('div');
    listItem.setAttribute('data-bb-type', 'item');
    listItem.setAttribute('data-bb-title', title);
    listItem.setAttribute('data-bb-accent-text', combindedDate);
    listItem.setAttribute('onclick', "bb.pushScreen('page.htm', 'page', '666');");

    2. If clicked article opens a new page, because of the onclick attribute. (works well)

    The additional option (666) must be a variable. I couldn't understand how to solve this problem.
    There must be a way I can pass a variable in the new created element the bb.pushScreen funtion.

    Any ideas?

    listItem.setAttribute('onclick', 'bb.pushScreen(\'page.htm\', \'page\', \''+ itemid +'\');');

  • How to set the keys to line declared with a model of ChildPropertyTreeModel

    I want to initialize my tree with a few nodes already developed. From what I read I have to use the setDisclosedRowKeys method, but I don't know how to create and fill the parameter RowKeySet.

    I was thinking something like this:

    RowKeySet rowKeys = tree.getDisclosedRowKeys ();

    = (ArrayList) model.getWrappedData () ArrayList object.

    TreeItem data = (TreeItem) object.get (0);

    List of children < TreeItem > = data.getChildren ();

    for (TreeItem element: children) {}

    Code to add this element to the RowKetSet

    tree.setDisclosedRowKeys (rowKeys);

    There is a RowKeySet.add () method, but it refers to the current line, and in my case, there is no "current line" concept. Any idea on how to fill the RowKeySet?
