Set up with ink

I gathered my printer to work ready to work at home. I installed on the computer and its ready to go. But when I came to install the ink cartridges lacked the 950 - I went to the store and bought the only one they had, a 950XL, but now the printer won't allow me to set up because it's not the cartridge supplied with the printer. I really need to go to my job, I can work around this problem, you?

You need to call HP telephone support on this issue, since the printer must be initialized with cartridges SETUP.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8620: problem with ink

Hello. I have nothing else to the HP printers used in my life using the computer - more than 25 years! I bought a new Officejet Pro 8620 2 years. I also bought cartridges refilled at the same time as my father died and I would need to use the printer a lot. Unfortunately, I bought ink another 3 times for this printer, when printing somewhere near 100 pages ALTOGETHER since the purchase. Problem is the printer keeps saying cartridge is not HP and damaged - should replace the HP cartridges. I've NEVER had a problem before using reloaded cartridges. Why change now? Am very close to get back to using my old computer Win XP and more old HP all-in-one printer. I have 3, and none of them has NEVER given any problems.

Looking for help on this. Have always had confidence in HP before - don't want to lose that now. Last cartridges were new HP, but still having the same problems. Suppliers of ink have been highly evaluated with excellent reviews. Warranty expired a year ago. Haven't had extended warranty because, as I said, never had a problem with HP printers to more than 25 years.

In addition, cellular internet very limited - and not (!) reliable. 50 miles of the city.

Yes, I learned a LOT over the weekend. First of all, I ordered a few inkplicity.com ink. Am curious about their ink, with their 1 year warranty. Shortly after ordering, I contacted Fuzoo, who then asked me to photograph both sides of the chip. I had no idea of the chip was removable. And actually, I see on the YoYoInk cartridges that the chip is glued in place. Then, I saw a few chips ink auto reset for sale online. And then began to find a lot of links and messages and articles on the chips of HP and the problems associated with them. Like my old printers were about 2000 or so, I had never met the problems associated with the current chips.

Now, Fuzoo has graciously agreed to replace not only the Magenta faulty cartridge (which has their 'old' piece), but will send a full order before, which was black (2) and a set of color inks. Can't get much better than this! So it would seem that I'm no longer need an explanation of why this happens - it's all about HP and their need to force their customers (who FREELY CHOOSE to buy their printers) in the purchase of HP ONLY cartridges.

It is a free country that is stuffed with capitalism. You'd be hard-pressed to get into any grocery store and NO search of generic items just alongside their counterparts in brand and usually for less money. You have car trouble? Generic (non - OEM) parts are available, as well as a lot of rooms refurbished. HP should remember their place in the grand scheme of things, or they will go the way of many other electronics companies. Trying to force customers to pay more for ink is bad. ... So this would increase the cost of the printers in the first place? Yes, probably. I was always ready to buy quality products when I could afford to, and HP printers had always been reliable but also easy to use. With this printer, I swore to the dang thing a lot more that I used it.

Please, ch, make the message and ease up trying to railroad customers. Even us loyal customers for a long time "' will leave! Don't forget, we are customers of HP by "choice"!

Problem is now solved. Thank you all for your comments!

  • I have a new backup disk (a disk of 5 TB of Seagate) and need help setting up with CCC!

    Hello world

I have a new backup disk (a disk of 5 TB of Seagate) and could use help setting up with CCC.

I did in the past without problem, but I want to assure you of a few things:

      1. This particular drive has software available in a folder on the disk backup (w / the PC and Mac versions). But... I intend to use this disk as an exact copy of my iMac HD; It must also be bootable.
      2. Should I format the drive with disk utility? Or load the software to the CCC on the disk and just leave their only backup software?
      3. One last question: I also have a MacBook Air, an iPad and an iPhone. I want to save them as well. Should I put them on separate partitions, I created? Or can we just one big happy family? The last is best.

One last piece of information: two computers, etc, were all backed up via Time Machine. My data the most important, photos, etc., are also saved on deposit box and/or iCloud on a regular basis.

Thanks for any suggestions or comments!

    Sally D.

Delete and partition the drive by making a separate partition for each computer. The iPad and the iPhone is useless their own partition because they back up using iTunes and would appear in the clone of the computer that you use for each save. Each partition must be the size of the current cloned drive that can leave you with additional partitions for other stuff. Then format the drive Mac OS Extended journaled. Do not install any software that came with the drive, none of this is necessary.

I use a very similar setup with a 3 TB drive. I clone my boot SSD in a single partition, my drive internal 1 Tb in a second, my Macbook to a third party, and I have a fourth partition which is currently empty, because I haven't decided what to do with it yet. I also have a 3 to Apple Time Capsule.

  • Why can't use frames feather anchor tool or animation with "Ink Slide"

I fight the Ipad with ink slide when using the anchor because of the pen stylus anchor symbol tool on an "Adobe Draw" application that came with it I continue to buy products and ropes of usb sync to sync it or use it and still nothing. I'm a professional graphic designer and the thought of ink slide was a pro pen when I arrived, turned out be only a 'designer' pen, I was shocked to discover that it is not a tool Designer by profession, after I bought it. Please tell me a way it can be used as a pro such as the Wacom tablet pen pro or any other Windows product? I had the Apple because Apple products are always the best quality.

I wonder if this is the best forum for your question?  I'm not at all accustomed to the forum who use ink & Slide tools.  There is a forum of ink & Slide, but it is not as busy as this one (last post ago 16 hours while I'm typing this) but you should at least start a similar thread over there.  As well as ask questions, you may also like to check links to get started .  These tend to be where gold is found.

  • Help! Problem with ink cartridge compatibility Photosmart C4383 in my current position

Need your help! I bought my printer in the Middle East almost 2 years already Photosmart C4383 with ink cartridges 140 (black) & 141 (tricolor).  Since then, I have in my country now, resides in the Philippines and I always use the printer.  This week, I already have run out of ink Supply and decided to buy a.  Since then, I bought the printer in another country, I decided to check the site to ensure the compatibility of ink cartridges.  The results stated that the Photosmart C4383 belongs to the Photosmart C4380 series and it also says here that HP74 (black) & HP75 (HABs) are the compatible cartridges for the printer in my area.  Since then, I always have the tricolor ink cartridge available 141, I decided to buy only the HP74 (black) ink cartridge.  But when I place the HP74 (black) ink cartridge for my printer, I was surprised to see in the display as the ink cartridge, I bought is not compatible with the printer. I was so disappointed because if I can't use the product then I lose money and and check again and again in the sights of compatibility of ink in my area said but still the same thing as HP74 (black) is the compatible ink cartridge and also saw a result stating to "reset the printer to work in my current position."  Need your help to enlighten me and give me the right solutions to these problems and the steps how to make good sense.   I need to use my printer so badly. Thank you.

You will need to Contact HP and require a reset of regionalization.  It will take you have access to your computer and printer so that on the phone with HP agent.  If the C4383 is a model only sold in some regions it is not possible to have the region reset.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8625: Officejet Pro 8625 filled with ink NO GO

Bought my all-in-one printer from hp to 3rd or 4th for my small medical rehabilitation company, hp officejet pro 8625 in January 2015 from Costco. Have used Costco to charge the cartridges (last 98) without any problems and enjoyed the reduction of costs for businesses. NOW, apparently the rules have changed and 8625 reloaded black cartridge doesn't work anyway, after trying many "suggestions" available online. HP support page interesting online said "Yes you can fill the cartridges, but you want to?" seems very misleading. Also, I found no instructions in my manual hp that says that my new printer WILL NOT PRINT on ink cartridges refilled.

Certainly there must be a certain way, because I do not want hp to 1 million customers dissatisfied with hp that could be interested in a class action of law because that made highly relevant were selected by the consumer? Please, don't tell how to get around this incorrect setting that hp was installed to divert the line from the bottom of my printer. Thank you.

Currently, there are more than 1 million customers using charged fine ink. It seems that Costco may have damaged your cartridges. To check it might be wise to install new ink HP to check to see if everything is OK with the printer or you damaged the printer some how. http://www.howtogeek.com/174232/Htg-explains-why-is-printer-ink-so-expensive/

  • Set Mode CMYK ink limits

I am under photoshop CC2015 and I was wondering if it is possible to put ink limit in CMYK mode, I don't understand how in RGB mode, but affect my work for some time of switching between the two, so can I set the same limits ink in CMYK mode as I do in RGB mode?

I'm not anyway actively limit TAC you work, but you can control it with the Info Panel:

Of course TAC is integrated in the profile, to ensure all direct RGB conversion > CMYK is safe. The problem is accumulation while you work in CMYK mode.

In addition, a threshold layer can help to identify problem areas, or a preflight in Acrobat.

  • Setting levels of ink for newspaper in Photoshop

I have a number of images, the goal will be for use in publications of the journal. I learn to adjust the images (color and grayscale) for the printing features web, which mainly involves the desity ink to 240% down and making it point max on a mono color 80%, which includes the images in grayscale. My question is what is the best way to account for this. I converted the images using the specific profiles that adjust for this in Photoshop, but in some cases, more precisely in grayscale images, I have one more point over 80%. It would be correct that I should go back and draw the color manually (with curves) to adjust the 20%, or Photoshop does something with the profile that I use to convert that takes care of this?

    The Octagon wrote:

Do color conversion seems to work very well, but the levels of gray is where I'm still having a problem. I had a CMYK image, set my profile to grayscale for fattening of 20% and after conversion, I still see on a 95% point in the darker areas. I think what confuses me is that Photoshop adjusts the appearace of the image to reflect a fattening of 20%. Does this mean that when I converted my profile that the values that I find both are earning points has occurred? If I find a point of 74%, it really was 54%? I put a sampling of color on a spot which read to 94%. When I went from the profiles to a point 30% of gain, the number rose to 88%. -What is sense?

Dot readings that you reflect the value true file.

When you convert Photoshop gray tries to preserve the appearance of the brightness. 10 fattening and fattening 30 reflect different print conditions, but they appear very similar to the screen. But the 30 fewer than the 10 ink coverage. Photoshop is trying to explain further in the case of print 30 gain, while the images appear identical, but in fact they are not the same. To check ink coverage go to filter: blur: average. You will see that a 10 point gain actually has more coverage than a gain of 30 points.

All that being said, I don't know why you would need a limit of 80 ink on shades of gray. My guess would be 95. You can do this with a simple curve and shoot 100% downwards until you reach the desired level of ink in the shadow areas. You can even make the curve of a nondestructive adjustment layer.

It is sometimes difficult to find the darkest area. In a grayscale image's levels. Hold down the option key and drag from left to right. The parts of the image that begin to appear are your very dark areas.

For the newspaper halftones, in addition to the cover of the shadow's 1/4 and in the middle of gain. This area makes a lot on a rotating and the stock of newsprint. The values here flatten as they go to 3/4 and the image turns into mud. Sometimes 3/4 lock and slide down the 1/4 of your help, it's something like a curve in s with a restraint on the shadows. You could even incorporate this with your dot boundary curve, so just a curve. Highlights may suffer but they will suffer in all cases, stock journal is grey after all.

One profile, I use sometimes is called identity of Gray. You will not it, but all you have to do to simulate ink coverage is going to Lab mode, select the L channel, and then go grayscale. This retrieves the L channel and the poster with your gray working. If your grey work is not the grey journal, then perform a convert to profile to the grey of the newspaper. The appearance of the image on the screen will stay the same, but the file numbers will adjust for the higher gain of the newspaper printing condition.

Sharpness is instrumental in the halftone good newspaper too. Who comes last, after all the curve adjustment. Sharpness may push up of ink from the ink values for small edges, but that's what you want. You don't want to destroy with curves after sharpening.

  • Need help setting up with a projector.

    Hello
I have a M30X & seem to be unable to set up for use with a projector. I can get it to show the theme of office & my pointer of the mouse on the projection screen, but nothing else. I don't see any program on the projection screen & I want to use it to make PowerPoint presentations. I tried all the basic tips including the wizard, but no luck! Help please.

    Hello Lizzie

It's very strange that there is no possibility to see any program started on projector. As far as I know if PowerPoint contains some copy protected files, it is not possible to be shown.

  • iCloud Keychain could not be set up with a valid entry

I use iCloud Keychain for a while now, but last year I worked on a computer not apple. There was therefore no need to sync, so I ignored when he asked me to check my account for her information.

So now I'm back to Mac and I want to synchronize my Wi - Fi passwords with my iPhone. I tried configuring iCloud Keychain (I know the security code and I have access to my phone), but it fails on both my Mac and iPhone. The data there are really outdated, so I decided to reset it and create a new keychain, but I found only the options for that when it is turned on.

What do you think that the issue can be? And what can be the solution?

    Notes:

-below are the error messages I get

-J' tried to set up for weeks now, is not a server failure. Also different networks.

-I know that the right security code, and I have access to the phone number, if I get the verification code too.

"iCloud Keychain could not be restored because there was a communication problem with iCloud. .

Try restoring iCloud Keychain again. "on a Mac

"One could not Set Up iCloud keychain" on an iPhone

    Hello Balint,

Looks like you've tried some, but not all, the steps of troubleshooting for the issue you are seen day or setting to the top of your iCloud keychain.  Take a look at the resource below to this address.  I have highlighted some information for you here, but click on the link for more details.

    Get help using iCloud keychain

If you cannot synchronize iCloud Keychain with other devices

Make sure that your device is on a Wi - Fi or the cellular network. If the connection seems strong, try the following steps:

    1. Turn off iCloud Keychain on all devices.
    2. Turn on iCloud Keychain on the device that has the most up-to-date keychain items.
    3. Turn on iCloud Keychain on your other devices. They will be updated with your iCloud new keychain.

If you no longer have your iCloud keychain items

If you disabled iCloud Keychain on all your devices, your iCloud Keychain is removed from the Cloud. If you have chosen to remove the keychain of your devices when you have disabled iCloud Keychain, your iCloud Keychain is also removed from these devices.

You will need to install iCloud keychain and add items again. Apple cannot recover your iCloud Keychain if you turn off iCloud Keychain on all your devices and choose to remove your iCloud Keychain locally on all your devices.

On OS X, if you used Keychain Access to reset your OS X Keychain, OS X will delete your iCloud keychain items. Choose Keychain Access > S.o.s. keychain to verify and repair keychain settings and permissions. If this does not help, reconfigure iCloud keychain. If you need to reset your OS X Keychain again, temporarily disable iCloud Keychain in iCloud preferences before resetting your OS X Keychain.

    Take care
