set Windows media player problem

Hello! Recently, I run the advanced system of care on my system. Since that when I reduce media player to the system (in mini player mode) tray, the buttons work fine, but when I click twice, or click the reset button, nothing happens. When I try a right click, it does work as well.

Hello

I suggest you to try the SFC scan and check.

  • Y570 Windows media player problem

    Hi guys...

    Recently I bought Lenovo Y570.

But I am facing problem with the playback of the media through windows media player.

Audio / video that plays automatically stops and I have to press play to resume playback.

    It is sometimes quite irritating.

Sometimes, listening to a playlist, the song gets skipped automatically and the next song starts.

    What could be the problem?

I installed the Spider & VLC player media player, but I don't face above problems during playback of audio / video on them.

Edit: just now, I was playing a piece and he pauses automatically. I did not worth playing again. But after a few minutes, he started to play again.

So, basically, it's like some ghosts control my windows media - play, pause, skip song player.

I couldn't find a similar problem on the internet. Help, please. I want Media Player since it sounds better than the spider.

You have Lenovo RIC in your system tray? If you do, you have the auto-DJ turned on. Go to the menu "assistant" and turn it off.

You can disable this "feature" in your menu.

  • color of Windows media player problem

The Windows Media Player framework (including the toolbar) changed to dark red color (have not changed the parameters myself) on my desktop (blackish slept on my laptop). and the "color picker" under "improvements" simply does not (it does on my laptop). I've uninstalled and reinstalled WMP without result. Suggestions, please

I found this solution on an Avast forum (seems as if some Avast users have this problem) and it worked for me.

Open the dialog box run (twice) and then paste into the pressing next OK after every time:

    regsvr32 jscript.dll

    regsvr32 vbscript.dll

I did a registry backup first - just in case - but now my WMP is back to normal (black)

    Try this...

Start > default programs > associate a type of file or Protocol with a program > wait for loading > top left, under name, scroll down until you see mp3, click > everywhere, look under current by default, it should say Windows Media Player...
If it does not say that, click on change program... > in the open with window, select Windows Media Player > click OK

    Hope this will help.

  • How to set Windows Media Player as default for ripping the CD program

    IMesh

How can I reset Windows Media Player to be the default for ripping CD's?  A few months ago, I downloaded IMesh to try.  A month later, I deleted the application from my computer.  Now Windows Media will not rip the CD that I put in.  I checked the default music Ripper and there still IMesh as the default Ripper.  I tried to delete IMesh again, but the default is always the same. Help!

You need describe what symptoms get any decent help - explain what stops you rip the CD.

As a first response, try to run these troubleshooters [those of "BOLD" seem the most relevant].  They will reset your Date last played info & info sides as these parameters are in the WMP library functions.

Control Panel, troubleshooting, hardware & sound, troubleshoot the audio recording & audio playback.

Howdy again, even to try to fix this thing-figured out some of what's going on.

Masquerade Vampire loaded on the computer and all the sounds in this game are appearing in Windows Media Player under unknown Album - I have now around 6 000 files in the the album title unknown, including ringtones? - and the recovery album info is non-stop even after preliminary test of fixes for this problem.  Is it possible to separate or to stop the music of games fall into the part unknown Album in Windows Media Player?

  • Image of Windows Media Player problems

Recently, I got a new phone and I try to sync pictures of her with Windows Media Player. It is the Samsung intensity II.

But, in addition, it is not allowing me to synchronize the pictures to the device. It says "Error" on each photo, when I go to the sync details. Then I click error details, and it is said that the phone does not support photos or Media Player is not to convert the pictures correctly. I know for a fact that the phone supports pictures so... I'm a bit stuck.

Any help would be much appreciated. (:

    Thank you!

    Hi Hopeinx,

    ·        Do you have any software disk that came with Samsung mobile, which must be installed on the computer?

Player Windows Media would not support the synchronization of the device until you install the software and the drivers provided by the manufacturer of the device. If you have any software provided by the manufacturer Samsung Mobile, you can install it and check if it helps.

You can also install the Samsung software and check if you can see all the photos on the computer using their software and copy the images on the computer.

If you do not have the software of Samsung, you can contact their support and download the software from their site and check if that helps.

I hope this helps. Let us know the results.

  • Satellite P300: Microsoft Windows Media Player problems

Hi, I have trouble getting all the sounds of WMP 11 after about 10-15 seconds. I can get sound for 10 seconds and then no sound, but WMP still continues to play. Same thing when you try headphones. I have no trouble hearing my TV modem sounds and other sounds of Windows (I have recently changed from 32 to 64-bit one no problem with sound)

My laptop is a Toshiba P300/05Y, P7450, 4 GB of Ram with Windows Vista SP2 x 64 installed. In Device Manager I have drivers listed as Conexant High Definintion SmartAudio 221 and high definition Audio Device (I think this one is for the HDMI output) (there is also a 71st Pinnacle PCTV which is for my modem TV).

I checked the two audio devices are up-to-date with WMP11 - all of which are. What else can I check to get WMP works again? Oh yes, I use the media through the media player (although I did try and play music over there just to see if it made a difference, but not the question)

    Just a question:
Have you noticed same problem using another player like WinAmp?

I just want to understand if there is a sound problem general or simply associated with WMP 11.
Is that what you have installed this update?
Did you also install the codecs or codec package such as K-lite
