setting a day of Flash Player = crashplayer

Well, it crashes. Could not watch a video since update.

I experienced a few problems after the most recent update, restored under 'myApps' on the Google market, things have been very good since (at least with Flash Player).

  • If flash player problem, there is nothing wrong to do a system restore when he was working and not day of flash player, but firefox update?

flash player update and update of firefox is not compatible. Do not play videos or connect to web sites and freezes... Solved by doing an update of windows system where he was working. This gives you a work of flash player, and you don't update and cancel the automatic updates. You can update firefox. A simple solution, just type in system restore in the start menu and follow the directions. Worried if there are drawbacks.

Thanks for the replies. Here is my story: after the update of firefox and flash player June 22, I was unable to use my computer effectively. I am retired and use the computer for research, the entertainment and recreation. and I could not reach sites, found sites gel, could not play videos or hear telephone conferences. I tried to replace the flash player with older versions of the flash player, but kept receiving messages that the installation failed and I needed to install the latest version, I tried to get rid of. I also reinstalled firefox and flash player disabled player real and cleared the cache and cookies. I did not disable the protected mode which seemed complicated, I knew how to clear cookies in firefox at the time here.
I decided to do a system restore before June 22. I have found that installing and reinstalling and put to date had exhausted most of my system restore dates, but I was able to find one on June 3 and he ran. If other people will try this fix, they should do it before he runs of dates.
The fix worked, and I have not seen any bad effects. I have no files or important data. I see that this could be a problem. However the difficulty of making a system restore is running much less than firefox in safe mode or some of the other methods of obtaining an older flash player which I have been unable to do. Also I don't know how to disable the protected mode or quick acceleration, but I see that people should be judged with the fix of real player before doing a system restore which seems to be a last resort, for your comments.
I was more concerned about security than with the loss of data. It seems that adobe tries to protect firefox users of problems with viruses with protected mode, and using the flash in prior non-protected mode was what I've been concerned. However, if I couldn't use the computer, the protected mode was not any help. I could stop and protected him, also. I didn't suggest others to do this fix if it was dangerous, but for me it was quick and easy to a moment that I was about to give up. I wanted others to know about it, because it works, but I didn't want to be the cause of unintended consequences. So I guess I have found, use the fix at your own risk and try first the other sollutions.

  • Safari freezes regularly, every day.  Flash Player is running > 99% cpu

I'm running OS X 10.11.2, Safari 9.0.2 and have the latest version of Flash Player installed on a Mac Mini end of 2014.  In this case that I need to close Safari, clear history, and restart Safari.  Sometimes it works, sometimes I have to restart the OS X.  I have the same profile of software on a MacBook Air and have not seen this problem.  Should I uninstall Flash?  then reinstall?  Appreciate the help.

    1. system preferences > Flash Player > advanced > clear all

Press the button 'Clear all' under 'Navigation data and settings.

    2. install Adobe Flash Player.

System Preferences > Flash Player > updates

    Press the button "check now".

    http://get.Adobe.com/flashplayer/

Download it and quit Safari on the menu bar in the Safari menu.

Follow the prompts to install Adobe Flash Player.

    or

Uninstall and reinstall Adobe Flash Player.

Do you have any Extension Safari or installed antivirus software?

  • set the default adobe flash player

My daughter needs adobe Flash Player to use for homework.

How can we change the media player by default on Win Vista?

You can't do that. Adobe Flash Player is a browser/addon plugin. You can download http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ . It should automatically run in your Internet browser.

  • Problem: Cannot install the latest version of Flash Player.

Impossible to download and install the latest version of Flash Player.  The installation program downloads very well but the installer will not download the Flash Player. I keep getting a message "connection error" the installer.  I checked my DSL connection and it works properly. I use Windows XP (32-bit) with FireFox 38.0.1 and Flash Player 17.0.0.169.  I had similar problems during the installation of the 17.0.0.169 version but after 3 or 4 attempts it finally downloaded and installed successfully. My Flash Player configuration is set to 'Allow Adobe Flash Player install'.  I tried to close FireFox and my Norton software on the security line during installation, but I still get the same error message. Is the latest version of Flash Player that is compatible with Windows XP?  Is there a problem with the Adobe servers are down? Thanks in advance for your suggestions on this problem!

Now, seriously, WHAT GIVES? I'm getting sick of watching videos on YT, then have suddenly cut them to a blank screen. And this journal is maybe 5 minutes at most after the uninstallation of most recent. In addition, this seems to happen ONLY to IE, I literally JUST started FireFox after this announcement, and it works fine there. So seriously, what the hell?

Search for this file: C:\Users\Chris Cooper\AppData\Local\Temp\install_flash_player_ax_64bit.exe

If you find it, delete it.

What files are C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash folder when the problem occurs?

Have you tried a fresh install? How to do a clean install of the Flash Player?

  • Flash Player 10.1 is not fully active after that more 50 years, uninstalls and reinstalls.

There is on 2 weeks, I started to notice this. I want to load games Facebook and it should always be. Then, once he did finally load images were gone and these strange images java coded were in their place instead. My report log has no indication of crashes during this time, however last week I had a getPlus + R has stopped working, an APPCRASH GfxUI and a HP Advisor APPCRASH. Also been make many mistakes. The most recent when you try to reinstall Adobe DLM, I got "Firefox could not install to http://platform.adobe.com/NOS/getPlusPlus/1.6/gp.xpi download error 228".

When I get a Facebook game it says that I don't have the updated release of the flash player, so I will uninstall, restart my computer, reinstall, restart my computer and still get it. I did it over 50 times and counting. I continue to do that, because each from time to time the flash player is not upward for a few hours, usually when I install a new browser for the sort of 'trick', I guess. He catches on though... cause browser of today has been the opera and it worked fine for about 2 hours, at the beginning of the week, I tried safari with some success for about 4 hours. I'll miss the browser options and my time with this trick seems to fewer hours every time I do it.  I cleared my cache of hundreds of times during this process as well. I really don't understand how to check or set the parameters of flash player if. I think they would have a safety defect that, because I never installed all adobe products when I got the computer, so I guess they came preinstalled and properly defined. Also, when I bought this laptop a few months ago, I had this stupid thing of Norton telling me everytime I logged so I said hell with it and activated the trial version just to make disappear to enable it. I did this about a week and a half, and it seems that it is when everything really started to fall apart. There are so many things, I've tried that I can not even begin to list them all. I've downloaded so many other Adobe tests to see if they will solve the problem, but I don't really know still how or what they are really for. I should mention that I use Windows 7 and connect via wifi. I can browse the internet without any problem and watch YouTube without problems as well. For the most part, only the games on facebook is affected by this. I think he killed some of my drivers, because I went and downloaded a bunch of drivers intel and a flashed in fact "GfxUI" for a moment so that he was installing, and that was one of the accidents I've gotten. I don't really know where else to go from here. I have Internet explorer but rarely use it. Kind of hopeless here. Really, I don't expect solutions to this since nobody else seems to have the same problems. Most people can just uninstall and reinstall so it can be fixed in most of the forums. Well, I guess I'll check and see if anyone has an answer before I take my computer as it is supposed to be guaranteed.

Hi, ok on disabling Skype add ons. You should be able to do that too in FF. I do not use FF, but I think you click on tools, and there is a menu drop-down? If this is not the case, just go to Mozilla.com and look under Support, then Firefox.

Microsoft Security Essentials is the most recent Microsoft and includes anti-virus and Anti-Spyware. It does not include a firewall, you can use the Windows Firewall. There is no browser add ons installed, so that's a plus. It is easy to use. You can scan whenever you like and it has other parameters. I use it and have had no problem.

Before do you tho, you do not want to use the program to uninstall Avast available from there Web site.

I do not understand the access time you talked of, looks like it is related to the network which I have no way of knowing.

The adsbluelithium and the adyieldmanager.com's more awkward, especially the last. I think it is from the site and or games. But to be on the safe side, I would go to www.malwarebytes.com and install the free version. I think that when you click on the free download link it takes you to cnet, but it's ok. Just be sure to SAVE to your desktop and use it as a standalone. It is one of the anti-spyware albums and can remove anything it finds. Once you have it on your desktop, disable any browser followed Avast and a real-time monitoring. Then if Malwarebytes has already updated the definitions, click the Update icon, and then click on check for updates. When you have completed the update, run a scan completes.

OK on the removal of CS5. Also, before the foregoing, check in your add/remove. What is Acrobat.com or Adobe.com? According to, remove it. If you have not tried to remove Adobe Support Advisor, remove it. We will make the Adobe Air/Reader when all the others have been deleted.

    Thank you

  • Error "Cannot set the property 'innerHTML' undefined reference or zero" during the installation of Flash player 18.0.0.209

Check the status of my modules I've seen "update" notice for flash player.

I clicked the button to update and was taken at Adobe to start the process. I clicked on the "Download" button and the download of the installer has set and completed normally.

I clicked on the file Installer downloaded and started the installation. Then this error message appeared (see snapshot). By pressing 'Yes' or 'no' buttons causes the message reappear continually. I had to use the Task Manager to kill the process.

MY version of FF is 39.0. The version of flash player that is 18.0.0.209. OS is W7 Home Premium (update).

I have to wait until Adobe releases another version? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi, can try you if the installation works with the offline installation program, you can download on http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html (for use of firefox windows-exe for plugin-based browsers)?
otherwise, you may contact adobe technical support to get their product to work...

  • Keep being told you need to install Adobe Flash Player, by Facebook, install every day, I am running Windows 7, 64-bit, how can I avoid this?

Running Windows 7, 64-bit, using IE 9, Facebook games keep telling me every morning I do it to install Adobe Flash Player, and all goes well, that day, then the next day, get the same message, is there a permanent fix for this somewhere?

It could be related to ActiveX filtering, too. Adobe Flash seems to work on IE only with ActiveX filtering disabled (I also have these messages, they never appear on Chrome or other browsers who do not share this security feature).

  • OSX: Flash Player installer appears easily 10 x per day

    Dear Adobe team,

On my Macbook Pro with OSX 10.11.6 the app to install flash player launches easily 10 times a day, without asking me for it.

What is happening is that I do my job and at random, get a pop-up saying that Flash player is up-to-date on my system.

    10 times. a. day.

Unfocuses some app I work too much so I often in bulk text because of its input.

I don't know what make the top to open it, I have the following programs open all day: Firefox 48.0.1, Apple Mail, Mailplane 3, Slack, Apple Notes.

I can't spend a day with these applications closed for troubleshooting, it's my work machine.

Do you have any suggestions what to do? How do I update the Flash Player installer or why is this application even on my system?

Thank you very much for your help!

    Screen Shot 2016-09-07 at 14.44.44.png

    Thanks for the info.

The reason that the pop - up that happens is that the plugin PPAPI (used by Opera and browser based on Chromium, except Chrome) is an older version of Flash Player.  Update checker runs and tries to check for an update, but the check fails because of an error "unable to connect to the server.  Because he cannot connect to the server, it then returns the message you see.  We have not seen the error returned in your log file and need to continue the investigation.

    Use a proxy server?

Your system has restrictions on what processes can access the internet?

If you use the PPAPI plugin, launch the Chrome browser that uses it and go to https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer to download and install the latest version of the PPAPI plugin.

If you have / use a browser based on Chromium, I recommend you to uninstall.  Unfortunately, the Mac uninstaller program currently does not support remove them that type a (for example, PPAPI only or NPAPI only) Player.  It allows you to uninstall all Flash Player plugins present on the system and you will then need to re - install the NPAPI (used by Firefox) plugin.  To uninstall using the standalone uninstall program or the Adobe Flash Player installed by located in/Applications/Utilities.  After that the player is uninstalled, start Firefox and go to https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer to download and install the NPAPI plugin.

  • Cannot install flash player, download run script error: could not set correctly - undefined reference innerHTML or zero

Unable to download/install Flash Player, download script error: cannot properly set innerHTML reference undefined or null

    Hello

The script error is caused by the DPI setting on your system.  If the DPI setting is set to 100%, 125%, 150% or 200% Setup returns the script error. If your DPI setting is set to something else, please set it to one of these and Setup online should work.  To check/change the DPI setting:

    1. Start the control panel and go to control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display
    2. In the left menu, select set size custom text (PPP)
    3. In the Windows Setup custom DPI select 100%, 125%, 150% or 200% in the menu drop-down
    4. Click OK
    5. Select apply
    6. Open a session/disable
    7. Online installer should now run without displaying the script error.

A fix for this should be released in the coming weeks.

  • Setting the location of storage Flash Player

    Hey everybody,

I'm having a bit of a problem here; I am currently on my OS out of a Solid State Drive, and Flash Player keeps store any media (be it Megavideo or Youtube or anything about the Flash streaming) on the operating system drive. I only have 2, 19 GB of space to spare on the drive, and whenever I look at a video of more than thirty minutes in 1080 p quality, I need to refresh the page/restart my browser to halfway to not run out of space on my OS drive.

I have not found a clear answer on how to set a different cache directory yet.

I run on Opera version 11.60 32 bit, Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit operating system.

My version of Flash Player is the most recent 32-bit one (do not know where to look for a specific version number).

    Any help would be appreciated,

    Amdrial

The man, xircal, you can spout a lot of weird shi... stuff.

Next time stick to the issue and stop doing so absurd Follies, assistance, if you are there to do it, otherwise just shut up!

THE REAL FOR THE ISSUE OF THE USER HELP:

Browsers and flash like keep the biggest files in a cache directory. It is perhaps in Users\user\appdata\local\temp, windows\temp or in own browser cache directory.

Google for links shell extension. It is a helper user friendly context menu, so that you don't have to use the command line tools to create symbolic links.

You need either one additional, other than the system drive, harddrive or a lot of ram (16 G) and a ramdrive application. Anyway, have a HDD replacement ready, to partition and to give him a letter, say letter T:, if you do not already have one. D: works fine as well.

Show all files in the Explorer, including system files and hidden files.

On this t: you're going to put all things related temp. Create a directory like local_temp, right click, select choose the binding Source, now go to

    Users\your_user_name\AppData\Local

delete the Temp folder it and right-click on a blank space, Drop as... Symbolic link, name it Temp and you're done with this one. It will be a green shortcut arrow, which is a symbolic link.

If Temp is not clear, you need a fresh OS restart and make sure there are no applications running that have some don't file already open it. Sysinternals Process Explorer you will see and close handles by demand, in the Menu search, simply enter the Temp and it will list all handles, only those who have the type of file you will be to close, DELETE or right clock key > narrow handle. This is where a restart will not clear the matter.

Now every time an application to think will write files to that Temp folder, actually the OS will divert writes for T:\local_temp\.

Same thing can be created for the Directory Cache of Chrome, Firefox, Opera, or acro_rd_dir in the Temp folder mentioned above (Flash latest invention).

There is also a Temp in Windows.

Users\your_user_name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer is also a common cycle of IO waster, he thumbs for folders, including images and stack of files icons are defined. It may also be moved so able to space and flash erase cycles.

Even for simple files, but they are working with a twist, the LSE and more download page.

It is so that you can manage and dictate places without being forced to use application settings, which could recover, lost or does not work. Some of the places mentioned above could have been in their respective applications, but I've already posted the reasons why not to use and go to place symbolic links.

It works better in Windows 7 and more.

  • How to set the Tme Zone of flash player

I received a milli second time UTC and the time zone of the server. On the client side, I need to display it in the server's time zone. How can I set the Flash time zone time zone information?

    Thank you!

The Flash player gets its information from the local computer time zone - it is not a special setting for it.

From what I understand of the posted link iamjayakumars, Flash 12 beta will install updates in the background, but I think there could be a feature that users can configure to install Flash when they want to and not automatically push it to users.
