  My HP Envy Notebook PC sound M6 worked well with the IDT High-Definition Audio Driver 6.10.6498 (SP65196) on Windows 8.1.

  I removed the HP biometric devices, wireless button and IDT Audio (SP65196) drivers and installed the standard MS Windows 10 drivers, then installed HP SP71886 "driver Audio IDT high definition (HD).

  Everything works now.

  Every now and then I accedently press FN, then on the 'b' button through a video game. This causes the computer inturrupt the game by showing the office with the logo of "beats". Therefore, I would like to remove the 'FN + B' shortcut that uses audio Beats. Of course, I don't want to get rid of Beats Audio or delete functionality of the function key alltoghter.

  If you want to stop the fn + B works, then proceed as follows:

  Click Start, then run (look for them if necessary)

  Run "msconfig".

  Go to the Startup tab

  Find "HP Quick Launch" and uncheck the box it.

  This will require a reboot to work.

  If you want to reactivate, you can simply RUN the command below, or follow the steps above and check this new (requires restart):

  C:\Program Files (x 86) \Hewlett-Packard\HP quick Launch\HPMSGSVC.exe

  It is updated because you set it to update automatically.  Take control and turn off the automatic updates of Windows.

• Audio beats disappeared from my omni 1200 a 27

  You can uis the recovery disk set for drivers.  This is the way the more straigtforward to do.

  Good so I just bought a HP Pavilion dv7 today of a pawnbroker he seemed new. Everything works, but I have no idea where the audio beats is a FN + b does nothing for me and I can't find same under my sound and material settings. I see forums to use Recovery Manager and I don't have that either. Please I have no Beats Audio or Recovery Manager please help Beats Audio and laptop is generally why I got this.

  Try the following.

  Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

  One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

  When finished, restart the computer and let Windows load completely.  Open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once done, restart the laptop.

  Open windows control panel.  Next to discovers by: in the top of the page to the right select large icons.  From the displayed list now, is there an entry for Beats Audio?

  Not all laptop computers support the fn + b shortcut to launch the Beats Audio Control Panel, but if yours does, you may have to reinstall Quick Launch Buttons HP.

  Otherwise, restart the computer once the installation is complete.

• HP Pavilion P7 - 1436 s: lost audio beats

  Updated to Windows 10 8.1 and everything seemed to go ok.  There was some sort of update a little later after installation and it removed my audio Beats. How or can I get it back?   I looked and tried a few suggestions (nearly everything is for laptops), but without success.  May be a rumor, but do you buy Mac audio Beats and is why nothing works now?  I do not have software Realtek (I did a complete search on my PC), so anything with this solution does not work.   Other alternatives to improve the sound quality?   A lot of questions but I need help.

  I understand that after upgrade to Windows 10 and reinstall the HP audio player you are unable to open the control panel Audio Beats.  When you try to open it, the Realtek control panel appears.

  You'll try this step.

  Uninstall the audio driver and then run Support Assistant HP.
