  Recently, I had to send my curve away from setting the led screen and received the same phone as a loan. She has set up my e-mail account and everything worked fine and dandy.

  Now, a month later, I got my blackberry back. The woman at Sasktel backed up the loan and restored it on my Berry. My bbm contacts, everything has been restored correctly.

  But I get no emails. Both my accounts are set up and all my previous emails are there until she me back on since the article ready to mine. How can I fix it? What I have to go to Sasktel and ask them to do?

  If she really didn't know the password of his BlackBerry ID, then, from a computer, visit http://www.blackberry.com/blackberryid , click Reset password. then she got to try one by one with each Email ID, you enter the same password for all. For each incorrect Email she will get a message that " enter a valid BlackBerry ID username". ". And with JUST the right E-mail address or user name and password it will be notified this password reset e-mail has been sent . It will leave him the identification of Email it has established.

  Hi there and welcome to the forums!

  You can resolve this problem by following the steps (I did the same thing on my Storm for the same reason you):

  • Open the phone application, then press the BB Menu key and select Options
  • Select Call Logging and then change the calls to zero logging options.

  This will still show an icon for missed calls, but it will remove the calls to your main message folder.

  1. connect to your carrier's website you BIS. Carrier BIS connection sites are listed here:

  2. click on 'Edit' next to the email to which account you want to change (or remove) the signature.

  3. where it says "signature", delete all the text if you don't want ANY signature, or change view you prefer instead of "sent from my BlackBerry... »

  Indeed - if Sprint have not migrated your old BB PIN BIS account to the new, so nothing of your old configuration work. Call them to confirm that everything is correct with their configuration for your replacement BB.

  -To be able to receive emails on my BB, I always need to sign for the package of BB. Is this correct?

  -My BB will always look for the faster connection. So if WIFI is available, it will go for the Wifi. Is this correct?

  This means, I can sign up for BB package in order to receive emails. I would use the dataplan then not to receive emails. I check my email at home through my Wifi and NOT use my very expensive data plan. Yes the TI disadvantage that I pay a monthly fee only to receive my mails via Wifi. Sounds stupid, but I don't understand an alternative.

  Is there another possibility? Can I install on my BB to another email program and set up to receive emails by connecting directly to a server pop3 (gmail) and through my Wifi?

  Sorta OK. While the connection uses the WiFi connection, you always use services of BIS, which provides your month of membership.

  It is not really one 'good' other choice, other than access to your Web mail server via WiFi Hotspot browser. Who won't be no pushing or pulling email on your device, you'll just check the Web server. Not a great alternative in my opinion.

  I had my (very old) BB9700 unlocked for my daughter and the SIM works fine for calls and texts.  It seems to connect to the wifi (symbol), but when I try the browser I get "unable to connect to the internet, please try again later" and e-mail implemented only allows me to choose a "e-mail account work with a bb Enterprise Server.  I can't find the manual op and it's been long that I was a user of bb.  Can anyone help?

  Yes, that's correct. No data plan = no email, no BBM surveys, etc.. Nothing which requires BlackBerry services.

  Email and SMS/MMS all combined in main box mailbox messages until a few weeks ago. Now, when I get an SMS message, I'll still take the little icon showing me I have mail, but when I click on my mail box, there is no new message.  I have to click on the menu, click the display folder, and then click SMS messages to display.   BUT now I can't restore my data to my phone.   When I used the Desktop Manager, I clicked on restore and then came a box that says: "the data in the following databases...". Do you want to continue? ', followed by a list of my databases. Below that is a box for you to check that says «Clear the current memory of the OBU... and restore data...» ».  This sentence is overlying (you can see in the text) the Yes/No to click on the box.  So, even if I check the box in front of the text, I can't click on Yes or no. (nothing happens when I click on it). I tried to restart a few times Director of office, but I always get the same thing.  Should I uninstall and reinstall?

  First, try these steps in order:

  1 - Save your pocket computer.

  • (Wait an Enrollment Message arrives in your Inbox for each email that you have configured on your device)

  3. and then do a restart of battery like that pull while the device is powered on remove your battery wait for a min. then reinsert back

  After the restart, on your device, go to settings > mail account > trying to set up your e-mail account and check if you receive the same error. If you still receive the same error, then use your BlackBerry browser and go to www.blackberry.com/integrate to add / edit an e-mail message.
