  If your topic: home is the home page, I don't think it will detect whether you are connected to a gmail account.

  Have you looked on all screens and in all the folders on your phone?

I have new installation internet connection and attempted to establish a wireless connection but the wireless network does not appear. I went under network settings, and there is no icon of wireless network parameters? I don't know what it takes at this point or how can configure my WiFi, that's why I ordered the new modem.

• HP Pavilion DV6: Wireless in the mobility settings icon disappeared

  Normally, I do not use my wireless but connect via cable.  I used it in the past but not recently.  I have upgraded from the computer to Windows 10 about a month ago, but did not check to see if the wireless worked before I upgraded so I don't know if the upgrade has caused my problem or other somethng

  The wireless won't tun on.  It lights up normally by going to the Windows Mobility Center panel.selecting control and then clicking on an icon of HP.  I tried to do, but it would not turn.  I tried different patches and the icon disappeared.
  The HP icon, when it was there said something like "added by HP.  I'm sure this icon and his dissapearance is my problem.  However, I find anywhere where I can download a patch or app that will add this icon back in.

  I saw the forum for some possible and tried fixes without success.  I checked the BIOS and also reinstalled thedriver for the currency.  I also downloaded a different driver from the HP site.  Nothing seemed to work, or bring back the missing icon.

  Try a forced reboot. Hold down the home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds , until the Apple logo appears. You won't lose anything.

  Also go to settings (when you get search) > general > reset > reset home screen presentation. That could help as well.

• presentation settings pop-up automatically - disapper of the icons on the desktop!

  I'm having a problem with the icons on the desktop.  Whenever I start my computer, or disconnect or plug when turned on, the desktop icons disappear, and the program of 'presentation settings' will appear.  The desktop icons disappear.  I right click on the desktop, select display and the "show desktop icons" is selected.  I deselect, then right click, display, show the desktop icons to show.  It becomes really annoying!  I do every time I turn on the computer, unplug the unit while it is on or plug it in.  Each time, the 'presentation settings' lights.  When I use the "Mobility Center" to turn off presentation settings, he points out that they are turned off and does not respond when I try to 'works '.  I have the presentation settings icon right click and stop the presentation.

  Thank you Mick but you have totally misunderstood the nature of my problem.  I understand how to transform a computer market properly.

  My point was that, once the computer is turned on, the presentation settings pop-up and the desktop icons disappear.  In order to get them to show, I have to then do a right-click on the desktop, select view - the "show desktop icons" is selected, but the icons are not - so I have to deselect "show desktop icons"; so, I have to repeat the whole process, this time by selecting "Show desktop icons" until the icons will be displayed.  IF I unplug the computer while it is on, the presentation automatically pop settings - up, the desktop icons disappear and I have to repeat the process.  IF the computer is already unplugged and turned on, and I plug it in, presentation pop up settings and the desktop icons disappear, and I have to repeat the process.  He became EXTREMELY frustrating - it's why I screamed for help...

  Anyway, I solved the problem I hope - for some reason any my power settings swiched to profile 'Quiet Office'; When I switched it to the profile "Entertainment", the problem seems to have resolved itself!

  Windows in not aware of an installation wireless installed in your computer.  Cause most likely this is the lack of the suitable driver for your specific hardware.

  Check Device Manager and see if it is listed there with a yellow exclamation point.  If this is the case, Windows can see it but it has nothing to do with it, no software device driver.

  Your single source for drivers should be the web site of the manufacturer of your computer.  Go ahead, find your model, then the driver you need.  In many cases these sites more than offer pilot and you may have to do some testing before finding which is the one you need.

• iPhone 4 s - all THE icons disappeared!

  Don't know how it happened but almost all missing icons... .particularly app icons, iphone apps (phone, safari, music, etc.), taskbar, settings etc., EVERYTHING.   Try a reset of the device. This will not affect your data/content. Hold down the home and sleep/wake together until you see the Apple logo and then release. It could take up to 30 seconds of operation. If it is not everything, try searching spotlight for the settings app. If it is, then open it and try the reset home screen presentation. If this does not work, when is the last link you made a backup of the device? Try the backup and restore then your backup device. If this will not work, then you will have to restore the unit to the factory and start over.

  All I get is El Capitan. No windows available.

  I know that I can hold down the Alt key at startup and choose the drive, but I want to have the choice in settings.

  So, recently, I upgraded to 6.0 for Moto G Marshmallow 2nd generation 2014. One of the reasons why I wanted to it was to customize Quick settings without root. However after following various tutorials on how to activate the tuner of the interface user of the system still does not. The settings icon in refuses it to corner of spin and therefore will not activate the tuner of the user interface. I was wondering if anyone had a solution for this. Any input would be appreciated.
