  This means that I'm still fain to use this indirect way to make the icons and the taskbar appears.
  This means that the 'explorer.exe' does not work?

  Thanks for posting, as you might expect, there are troubleshooting you can undertake to check why the download does not work.   What is the error message that you receive?
  Also provide error code, as applicable.

  Is this error message only when you install the printer?

  Check if the install Windows service is set to automatic. Steps to follow:

  a. Click Start and type services.msc in the search box

  b. Locate the Windows Installer service

  c. right-click on the service

  d. If the service is stopped and then starts the service

  e. to start the service, right-click on the windows installer and select Properties

  f. and in startup type, select automatic

  g. now try to install and check if that helps.

  Please provide a copy of your system information file. Type system information in the search box above the Start button and press ENTER. Select file, Export and give the file a name noting where it is located. Please download your disk from sky to share with everyone and post a link here.

  To access the system log, select Start, Control Panel, administrative tools, Event Viewer, in the list on the left of the window select Windows and the system logs.
