Several copies of the Adobe Reader software are open by Windows Explorer without any request

I have a PC using Windows XPproSP3 as its operating system.  Adobe Reader v10.1.3 is installed on my machine. When to use Windows Explorer to view a directory containing several *. PDF files and I ask then my mouse over a file and a simple left click to select this file, Windows Task Manager shows me that the system immediately starts opening copies of AcroRd32.exe (in pairs) and continues to do so until the PC is out of memory.  The PDF in question is not actually opened.

Another solution is to uninstall Adobe Reader, to download and install
Foxit Reader free software

I'm worried, Foxit is a better pdf reader.
