  I faced a scenario where - I could not install Jdeveloper 11.1.1.7 (I mean 11.1.1.7 JDeveloper and ADF 11.1.1.7 lasting not) in a House of middleware in which Standalone WLS 10.3.6 has already been installed. It says ' the maintenance level produces the current Installer (Weblogic Server: 10.3.5.0) is not compatible with the level of maintenance of the product on your system (Weblogic Server: 10.3.6.0).» Pleae get a compatible installer or perform maintenance on your system to achieve the desired level". The reason why I need JDeveloper to be installed under the roof of middleware is because I have a build file that calls ojdeploy which generates the .ear file.

  Someone can let me know if one confronts this scenario or is there any stage of work around this scenario

  Hi kdario,

  I am able to solve it in a slightly different way. Not sure if this is common sense since oracle has certified the JDeveloper with WLS 10.3.6 11.1.1.7 combinaisondes.

  What I did is I created an another home for JDeveloper 11.1.1.7 middleware. Creates a path environment variable in the physical server to point to the/jdeveloper/jdev/bin of

  Now, I am able to create and deploy on the same physical server with Jenkins.

  I'm working on a simple bean supported DC ADF application deployment to standalone WLS. The application deploys on WLS, but access to the browser application, I see below except in newspapers,

  You must install the ADF runtime for your version of jdev on the stand alone wls.

  Unlike versions of the wls alone and embedded of settlement are normal in your version. Oracle ships jdev 11.1.1.7 with an embedded 10.3.5 wls. On production, you must use 10.3.6.

  It seems that there is something wrong with your support of bean is instantiated.
  Check that it is correctly stated in the taskFlow and you have a default constructor in your backing bean.

  Hi, I have a problem with my upgrade application and server upgraded to WLS.
  
  I really hope that someone can help me here... I simply can't deploy.
  
  Basically, I had no problem deployment ever, with 11.1.1.4 and WLS 10.3.4 with deployments. I have since improved my JDEV 11.1.2 application as well as our server stand-alone WLS to 10.3.5. I think that all post patches (upgrade of the ADF and the patch of Sherman) have been applied. I can see the library of JSF 2.0 under deployments and they are correctly targeted.
  
  When I try to deploy now, the following error message is received:

  Well, now that you verified that the configuration of wls is OK for jdev 11.1.2.x you can do two things:
  1 make the libraries used in the non working app identical to that of the app to work
  2. compare the descriptors of the two applications (e.g. weblogic.xml, adf - config.xml...) and if they differ, try to find out why

  In addition, you should compare files ear, not what you see in jdev. When you generate an EAR of an app, jdev adds entries for the descriptors-So build EAR, unpack the ear and the war and then compare.

  I'm having some difficulty with a CSV file and the creation of multiple virtual machines of script and I was wondering if anyone could help please?

  I have a CSV file with the following headers:

  Name of the server, ESX host, Datastore, NumCPU, MemoryGB, DiskGB, name, disk storage Format, the network ID

  Test-SVR10, 192.168.1.50, ds_01, 1, 4, 40, the VM, slim network, winnetstandardguest

  What I need to add is the type of network adapter (I have a mixture of vmxnet3 and e1000 to deploy) and several discs by VM.

  The script that I have is:

  If I was typing this one line at a time. (or by using a batch file I think) I could use - DiskGB 10,20,30 adding several drives on the virtual computer, but I can't seem to add in the CSV file, and the error message says something about - parameter which I don't understand.

  I guess it's a case of getting the column headers correct for the information I need to add. Is there a list of topics CSV somewhere?

  It might be interesting to note that I am simply provide the hull of the virtual machine is deployed - are there no need to use a customization script or clone an existing virtual machine / deploy from an existing template.

  The New-VM cmdlet can handle a table of values for the DiskGB parameter.

  Don't know how you set the disk sizes in the CSV file, but if you placed in the single column, it should be read as a string.

  But you can convert this string to an array.

  For example:

  If you entered '10/20/30' in the DiskGB column in the CSV file, you can do $_. DiskGB.Split('-') for a picture with the 3 values.

• Several acceleration curves require the splitting motion?

  Let's say I have a movieclip move from point a to point b to point c (each point corresponding to a keyframe on the timeline). Lets say I want to apply an ease curve personalized for the movement of the point a to point b and a curve of different acceleration of the point b to c. The only way that I could understand how it was to divide the movement to the keyframe b. What is the only way to do it? What happens if I want to change the x / y location of the movieclip at the point b - then I have to change its location on the keyframe before the split and also after the separation. Or worse, what if I want to change the curve of the path at the point b? Then I have to change the handle Bezier entering the keyframe before the split and the outgoing handle after the split, hoping that they are consistent with each other. Is it really how it's supposed to do?

  It's using Flash CC 2014 motion tween (not classic Tween).

  Finally, I realized that I could change the trajectory and add Bézier curves to it instead of adding custom acceleration. Doing it this way does not split the movement.

• Several deployments / increment

  After doing some work with some of the guys over another here->Create the VM model , I'm curious to know if I can convert this script being able to deploy multiple virtual machines from him at the same time.  I know typically you use something as a loop to do this and just increment through the commands, but I didn't know if there was another way since all the information is not as easy as an increment.  We use a dedicated so DHCP mac address, name of the virtual machine will probably be the fields which change.  If I need to paste the code again below, just let me know, thanks!

  mattboren - update: I look at our original thread and took note of the portgroup - vs - networkname and used here since I remembered similar error.  Thanks again for your help.  Here is my final product which seems to work very well.

• Auto Login - Standalone WLS

  Am using Jdev 11.1.1.5.0, I installed a Stanalone server on my system. When starting of the server by calling, "StartWeblogic.cmd" I was prompted to type the name of user and password each time. To remedy this, I created a leader (boot.properties) of text with my "username: username, password: password" and I recorded in the folder named 'security' in my root directory.
  
  Again, I need to provide the username and password. How do I overcome this.

  can you make sure that type of file if this file boot.properties as "Properties". If it is of type .txt then weblogic server will not consider it. Please check, I think that your problem will be solved by then.

• ADF app on autonomous WLS: ORA-01005: password null; connection refused

  I managed to deploy ADF 11 g application on stand-alone WLS 10.3.3. When the application is executed, ORA-01005 error: password null; denied logon is thrown with the stacktrace.
  
  -WLS runs in a mode of production, so the solution proposed here http://radalcove.com/blog/?p=34 does not apply
  -J' read note metalink running an ADF Application standalone WLS fails with errors Houston-26061 ORA-01005 [ID 958650.1] which suggests that if the WLS is in production mode, then I must create a data source in the WLS I did. Needless to say, DS is applied to existing server instance
  -Jdeveloper ADF 11 g application is configured for deployment with ' Auto generate and Synchronize weblogic - jdbc.xml deployment descriptors
  -Needless to say, the application works fine in JDeveloper WLS
  -One thing that cought my eye is that in the WLS under "Deployments",-> myApplication, console there is a myDBconn of type JDBC Configuration module, which is a database connection created in JDeveloper. So, seems that this application is deployed is still using the JDBC connection and not the source of data in WLS?

  Have you changed the configuration of the application module to use an instead of the url before you deployed jdbc data source? Click the am right, choose settings, and then click change

• 401 error after you deploy for stand-alone WLS

  I use JDev 12.1.3 on Windows 7 Pro

  My app has been migrated to 10g, 11 g to 12 c. He had a guarantee of manufacture which has been replaced by ADF security.

  I have it on my integrated WLS but after deployment to standalone WLS I get 401 - error not allowed after connection through OAM.

  I checked the server logs and don't see any error. The sys admin looks at some other newspapers but nothing concrete yet.

  The app has 26 roles of the company and my login has 5 assigned roles. Some business roles have been defined as Active Directory groups. I tried to check if the roles are case sensitive, but who has not found in textbooks again. Ad groups do not match the case of the roles defined in jazn-"Data.xml".

  Any suggestions on what and where to look is greatly appreciated.

  One suggestion is to remove all business roles and try to make it work with a single role. I intend to try this.

  We found that the question. Business roles are case-sensitive. Windows administrator define groups of ads as of breaks. Jazn-"Data.xml", I made the business roles are all uppercase. Evolution of business roles jazn-data to match fixed the issue ad groups.

• OracleDB change notification privilege causing long commits to autonomous WLS

  I am facing a strange problem. Currently, my application requires that I re - run queries to view activation object in order to maintain the sort order. Sometimes, this causes an exception that is thrown indicating that the record ID does not exist or that it was unable to register/cancel a request for notification of change of the view object database. After doing some research, this problem has been resolved by granting the privilege to "change notification" to the database user that uses my application.  Test went well on the integrated WLS.

  Problems occurred after deployment on a stand-alone test server. The application works as expected until a commit operation is called.  The validation operation takes a long time (30-40 seconds instead of 1 to 2 seconds before).  Not only this, after re-polling of data after a commit, I'm starting to get the same exceptions that I mentioned above.

  After the revocation of the privilege to change notification validation problems disappear.

  What setting differences might be the cause for it? The driver of the DB used on the standalone WLS is oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver.

  Found the cause.  For some reason, I had the autoRefresh of the view set to true object property. As this was my first project ADF, I must have been messing around with random parameters before I knew what I was doing.  ADF 12.1.3 gave me a warning message in the ViewObject.xml but 12.1.2 does not.  To be honest, even I knew not that this existence far property.  Affecting false property fixed my issues. Thanks for the tip of 12.1.3 upgrade. It has not solved the problem, but it led to the solution!

• Start several areas simultaneously 1 installation of Weblogic server?

  Is it acceptable to create and manage several areas simultaneously. Better yet, when several areas on 1 Server WLS, each area have another port number in order to be executed at the same time?
  
  Here is my scenario - I have installed Oracle Business Intellgence, which, by default, installs and configures the server WLS for some Business Intelligence applications (BI Publisher). This instance is running fine and good and always.
  
  Then I got another application, Oracle Data Integrator, that has a Console piece that requires a domain on WLS. So rather than change the existing for Oracle Business Intelligence domain, I created a new domain through the Configuration Wizard and selected these Oracle Data Integrator components.
  
  That is why the current areas:
  
  ...\domains\bifoundation_domain--> installed automatically as part of Oracle Business Intelligence
  ...\domains\odi11g--> I created this area after I
  
  Now I have 2 domains under 1 WLS Server (windows 7 64-bit), but if I startWeblogic.cmd for the bifoundation_domain and I startWeblogic.cmd for the odi11g... While the components for the bifoundation_domain will be available via the WLS Console.
  
  Issues related to the:
  -Can I simultaneously use two domains?
  -I changed the bifoundation_domain to include the Oracle Data Integrator components. so only with 1 domain, but have all run under this area?
  -Is the Port for each subject of the domain? field, the bifounddation_domain and the odi11g use ports 7001
  
  Are there other aspects? Thank you very much.

  For the side things WebLogic:
  -Yes, you can run two domains on one machine. You can run as many areas that the computer/server can handle.

  -The ports are important on what you use. Basically, the relaitonship is that you can have 1 WebLogic Server running on port 1. Otherwise, you'll have weblogic servers, prevent others from commissioning. So, you will need to make sure that all of your weblogic servers are configured on separate ports. 7001 is the default port WebLogic AdminServer. You can modify the ports that are used from the Administrator console or '% Domain_Home%/config/config.xml '.

  I created a very basic application view a merger mvc. I followed a couple of tutorials for mobile browser application and can successfully deploy and run this application to the built-in WLS.
  
  I then deploy my application to a standalone WLS who has been patched with Sherman a few months ago. The application deploys very well, however I can't seem to access it.
  
  I can access a normal JSF page through the default ViewController via the following link:
  
  http://111.111.111:7103/mobile-ViewController-context-root/faces/main.JSF
  
  but in the draft of the Mobile display:

  The link is not found. It's almost as if this project is not deployed to stand alone?
  
  Not quite sure where I am mistaken here. The only change to the address of the WLS integrated into the standalone version is the area and the port.
  
  Y at - it need software updates? I guess not here and also to switch my problem is an issue - but have spent hours trying different combinations of links.

  I try to extend our current infrastructure and would like to know if you know of any documentation concerning several deployments of virtual center. I think that when installing vcenter he ask if this EGG will be part of an existing VC. My question is simple how it is?, and how the database will be configured?, do I need to deploy a database in the new virtual server Center or it will get all the data to the remote site?

  i.e. I have a server VC in Houston and want to have another VC server in London, but using the same data from houston, but I just want to be able to log on to a local server of vc in London.

  Looks like you want to vCenter Linked Mode, where you can connect to an instance of vCenter and others. Databases are my distinct knowledge and local preference in each instance for performance reasons, only the vCenter service are interconnected.
