• SEVERAL problems with the new X 34

  So, I have been active during the overclock.net forums concerning the many problems I am having with my X 34.

  Long story short, I'm back this thing to Newegg and waiting for another delivery. But I thought I'd come at least here because it has high liklihood to return to anyone who cares to Acer. I called their tech support to let them know about the issues, but when the old Indian robot for 2 years at the other end kept referring to as resolution of refresh rate, I decided that I couldn't take more.

  So I took delivery of the monitor yesterday and he initially worked well... but the longer he stayed, the more problems, he has developed.

  My system is one I built a year or two ago and works perfectly with my Dell 3008WFP. Video card is a brand new MSI 980 Ti Lightning. Operating system is Windows 10 x 64. Is a Corsair 750W POWER supply. 16 GB of DDR3 RAM.

  I even made a COMPLETELY new install of Windows 10 on this computer to try to resolve these problems. Did not work. I have disconnected/reconnected everything inside my computer, including RAM and GPU. Did not work.

  And Yes, G-sync is enabled in the NVCP. And Yes, I manually set the refresh rate in the NVCP in correlation with the manual settings on the monitor.

  Problem no. 1: Menu recording does not settings

  -Don't know what the problem is here. But for about 3 hours last night, my monitor would not save settings for serger refresh rate. I would go on the menu... allow the serger... Set it to 100 Hz... Select "Apply and restart. Then (here's the interesting thing I think in hindsight), the screen would flash many colors several times and restart. I assumed that flashing color was normal... but it was never the Predator Logo when it has been reset. The office is finally pointing upwards and I could choose 100 Hz in my NVCP... but when you returned from the settings menu, Overclock was Off back with the default refresh rate. I have nothing would fix it with the reset of the monitor and unplug. Later... I have unplugeed the monitor for 30 minutes and when I plugged it back in, it would save my overclock settings now. It is interesting, but now, when I selected "Apply and reset", he would show the Predator logo when restarting... this logo did not appear before.

  -This developed before my eyes. After the initial installation of the monitor, it worked fine. Without no flicker, no problems. But as I was sitting at the dinner table last night, I started to see the monitor flashing intermittently in the other room. I look at the screen, he flickered about 4 or 5 times per minute. It happens sometimes in games, but not constant.

  Then, I thought it was a driver problem, I did a clean install of the nVdiia previous drivers. Nope. Then a cleaning installed latest drivers from nVidia WHQL. Nope.

  Then I saw here that you can download the drivers for the monitor directly from Acer. So, I did a guy like an unsigned driver installation. Nope.

  After all this, the problem persists.

  Strange thing about this one is that there was when I first got the monitor but got progressively worse since I got it.

  Another weird thing is that if I have a window open, then it isn't twinkle... reduce the window, and he comes back. It's actually what made me think, it was a driver issue, but as you can see above, I think that I have ruled that that fully.

  Also, if I set my refresh rate to 95Hz or below, the problem occurs. (This is actually how I currently work).

  -UPDATE: the issue has actually started just after executing i1Profiler to calibrate the screen several times back to back. I can't imagine how, but could the rapid exchange of multiple colors full screen damaged electronics somehow? Or is it just a weird coincidence?

  -UPDATED #2: it was suggested that ADC can cause the problem as it caused problems with the previous Acer monitors. So I completely deleted i1Profiler and reset my default .icc profile. I also think that I figured out how to do a monitor factory reset - if you hold the buttons first and fifth, restarting the screen and all the default settings. in any case, does too and the blinking persists...

  #3 problem: Backlight horrible bleeding

  Overall, I am extremely disappointed, although I can't say I'm surprised. I mean, we deal with Acer here guys... Not exactly known for the high-end products. You can put the red lipstick on a pig...

  I've recently updated me and my husband 5 s self and we have many problems with them.  I am at a loss, because there are so many questions.  Problems with my 5 were minor and usually fixed with a reboot, but it does not help with the SE.

  We have no service in places we had before (as our home!) and they drops calls A LOT, the recent calls keep deletion on their own, my pictures show on my phone, but not in my iCloud account and I can't download them to my computer, also when I try to text them it sends either a text empty or I can send only one at a time.  Bluetooth was a bit buggy, working most of the time, but sometimes won't connect do not.  Our music disappears regularly and must be recharged on the phone. Oh, and we don't receive way random texts at all as if the person was blocked, when they are not.

  I'm sorry, but for new phones, it's a little ridiculous to have all these problems.  I feel like my upgrade wasn't an upgrade at all...

  Obviously your laptop, one of the first models comes with the Vista operating system. To be honest, I agree with you on the RAM. 512 MB is certainly not enough. 1 GB is OK, but for me not enough. I recommend you to upgrade the RAM with 2 x 1 GB module. With 2 GB will be the laptop works well.

  The compatible RAM 1 GB module has PA3411U-2M1G part number. Use this number in Google and you'll find enough shops where you can order online.

  See if you can manually start the Print Spooler Service:

  Click Start, run and enter in the box:

  services.msc

  Click OK to open the Services Applet.

  Locate the Print Spooler Service, highlight it, right-click and choose 'Start' (or click on the right arrow on the toolbar at the top of the page).

  When the Print Spooler Service is running, you will see the word "Started" in the State of Services column.

  If the Print Spooler Service does not start, describe what is happening or any message you see when you try to manually start the Print Spooler Service.

  If the Print Spooler Service starts, right-click, choose Properties, and set the startup type to automatic so it starts automatically at the next reboot of Windows.

  If the Print Spooler Service does not start, click on the Print Spooler Service Dependencies tab.  The Services listed as dependencies must run first in order for the Print Spooler Service start.

  Check and see the service remote procedure call (RPC) is running and if it is not running, start it and set the startup type to automatic too.

  Verify that other Services listed in the Print Spooler Dependencies tab, locate in the Services applet and if they don't, start them and set them to automatic too.

  If you don't see not all dependencies or do not understand those listed, tell us what you see listed and you can fix it.

  I recently did an 8.9 HRMS PeopleSoft peopletools 8.48 on a windows 2003 Server installation. It was working fine, but it seems that over time, some strange questions is permeated:
  
  1. now, when I try to compile any record object in the application designer, it always gives an error saying:
  
  «Please select at least one action: Create Tables, create indexes, create or modify Tables views.» (76,41).
  
  2. Although my application server is running (I can access PeopleSoft Portal), I am not able to connect to the developer of the Application in 3 layers. This did not initially. Now, it gives an error saying:
  
  "Cannot connect to PSAPPSRV (//PSAPPSRV:7000) application server. Possible causes are: the server name/IP address and port for application server alias is incorrect, the application server is not started, or the network is inaccessible. Contact your system administrator or see Tuxedo log for more information. "
  
  3. There is another installation that I did on my laptop (windows 2003 OS), who also owns the problems above, also, when I try to change the configuration settings in configuration manager and try installing the workstation, it gives a Windows-error Error(which says windows has encountered a problem, do you want to send data to Microsoft etc etc. i.e. the usual error message of windows)
  
  Any help on this will be appreciated.
  
  PS: To try to solve the problems, I already tried regedit entry for peopletools deleting and reinstalling workstation by using configuration manager, but it does not help!

  For the problem of information not getting registered in configuration manager, make sure that the environment variable PS_SERVER_CFG is NOT defined. Clear it if it is defined.

  I use the WRT1900ACS 2.0.0.173388 firmware and I noticed a few videos with. Just SRT subtitles does not work on my smarttv via DLNA server.

  I have some MKV videos with. The SRT subtitles I can perfectly look through DLNA, but. MP4. AVI and others. MKV seems simply do not find subtitles.

  All of these videos with. SRT subtitles, I can watch properly on my Mac or directly into the USB port on the TV, which seems to clearly be a problem with the router or some settings.

  I tried to rename the extension of the file from. MP4 and. AVI to MKV, but also did not work.

  Are there other settings that I can do?

  I suggest you use a software of 3 rd-party, which we are not trained for, that can integrate the file of external subtitles for YouTube videos.   2. I installed 5 Lightroom, then uninstalled. When I went back to re - install, the application Adobe Creative cloud wouldn't let me.   Hope this will help others record the amount of time this error I spent troubleshooting.  When you install Adobe InCopy CC, CC of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop CC, CC prelude Adobe and Adobe first Pro CC on a laptop Windows Pro 8.1, I an error similar to the one below.  Other installations of Adobe Acrobat XI Pro, Adobe affect effects CC, Adobe Audition CC, Adobe Bridge CC, CC of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Lightroom 5 and Adobe SpeedGrade CC installed without error.  I ran across this test with a clean operating system, new construction to help isolate the problem.

  I ran a minimum load of the operating system by stopping all non Microsoft services by running MSCONFIG. EXE and disabling and disabling all startup in the Task Manager, Startup tab items.  After restarting the laptop, I was then able to install CC of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe first Pro CC.  However, Adobe InCopy CC, CC of Adobe InDesign and Adobe prelude always failed CC.  I needed to start safe mode and disable BitDefender Virus Shield and BitDefender Desktop Update Service and then restart mode Normal (services were always disabled). I continued and completed the installations of Adobe InCopy CC, CC of Adobe InDesign and Adobe prelude CC.

  It seems that BitDefender is the process to load this function as a virus Trojan markup and stop installation.

• Could get a new router block printing? We had a lot of problems with the computer in the last week and a half. Bought new router and now the printer does not print. :-(

  (1) we went to DirecTV. Then the same day, our internet computer is down. I asked our current provider, Suddenlink, to let them know we had them to another - but we wanted to keep for the internet.

  (2) called DirecTV to investigate why our internet went down at the same time they installed? They said that they did nothing to cause that. We waited 5 days to make out and also install the third TV that was promised. The second tech gave things a lookover and said, once again, that there is nothing unusual during their passage to cause the problem.

  (3) called Suddenlink. They said it was the router. Called the people of Netgear. They said that the router was too old. We needed to pay an exorbitant sum for support and when I told him I'd rather just buy a new router and get free technical support for 90 days... and I personally do not have the credit cards in that time. (it's my mother s equip and I wonder it for the computer) when the guy told me that he could help and hung up on us, even though I was pleading for him to wait until I put my mother on the phone. (I'm in my 40s... not a kid).

  (4) Suddenlink called a few days later, when we got a new router (netgear brand NO!) Installed and I noticed that the 'ready' light was not 'on' on the modem. Their technology has said that he would check and call us in a few minutes. He did not.

  (5) the next day I called Suddenlink AGAIN. This time, I got a really nice customer service agent. She said she would send someone to check on it. It turns out that they had disconnected when I had called to pass only the TV.

  (6) in any case, we are finally online... only now... I can't the printer to work. :-(  This has worked before.  Could it be caused by the different router? I don't know about these things. I didn't even know what it was until someone at Radio Shack has explained to me. (I was not about to buy one at Wal-Mart - these poor people). The printer is a Canon Pixma MX340. We love him. The only thing is that it is difficult to clear the tasks or to reset. The only way to really do that is to simply pull the plug, unfortunately and restart the computer. But hey, it's a great printer, better than HP.

  We are under vista. The router is a Linksys wifi (which we have) N300 model E900.

  Here's my problem:

  I have upgraded to iOS 10 on my iPhone 5s this afternoon (September 13), and now I'm not able to open e-mail - Yahoo!, and Gmail. I can receive emails, I'm not able to view the body of these emails. When I press on them, all I see is a blank white page. I can't answer emails either. I can only their flag or remove them. However, I am able to compose new e-mail messages.

  Here are the steps that I've taken to try to solve my problem:

  1. Restarted my phone
  2. Remove and re-add my Mail accounts
  3. Made a backup and a restore full while that plugged into my laptop with the latest version of iTunes.
