several statements a drop-down list

So I create a drag and drop game but the thing is that there is not a single question for each statement. Is it possible to have to say... 10 statements about the right and the other 'box' on the left where the statements can be moved, if its good she stays there, if its bad, it goes back to its original position.

Perhaps you need to do is to grasp the object stuck in a variable outside of any function so that you can use to target.

var stuckObject:Object;

You can assign the object to this variable in the menu drop down, it works when it gets stuck

stuckObject = event.target;

Then you can use this variable to target group you want to remove it...

removeChild (stuckObject);

  • Form - enter the names of the State/province drop-down list

    Hello again,

    I use Acrobat Pro DC using a MC Pro and I want to create a list drop-down States and provinces on my form. After clicking Properties and then Options, is there a way to enter all state names at the same time instead of adding one by one? I know there are scripts out there, but I thought that I could create the list that I needed from the List of States - 50 AMERICAN States - Canadian Provinces - Australian States - Mexican States - Brazilian - States ListStates.co... and copy and paste them.

    I read on the drop-down lists, but I don't see that he offered to DC Pro. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

    Thank you.

    Yes, it's possible, but it takes using a script.

    The basic format of this script is:

    this.getField("DropDownName").setItems (["Alaska", "Alabama",...]);

    If you have the items in a text file or a spreadsheet and want to import at the same time you can use a tool like this, I developed, which can be purchased here: Scripts custom Adobe: Acrobat - items import from a text file to a combo box or a list box

    I also offer a free sample with all 50 US States file field drop-down list that you can copy and use in your own file.

  • Forms - selection drop-down list box makes other fields appear

    I am building a form in InDesign that I export to PDF format with several fields (text, drop-down list, radio, checkboxes). Some fields are defined to trigger the visibility of other fields and that works very well. What I want to do and what I can barely reach, is to have a selection for a combo box, make 3 other visible fields. I'm just a beginner when it comes to buttons in InDesign and the forms of the suggestions would be appreciated.

    If it is easier to achieve in Acrobat I try too.

    In case someone sees this in the future, I found a site with a solution which works perfectly and it's so EASY!

  • Contains a drop-down list of this poplulates info for each State?

    I created a drop down list of the 50 States of the United States. I need isolate only the information that is specific to each State in some way that it presents when a user selects the name of the State from the drop-down list. The information that will be displayed for each State can be a company name and address, or several different names/places. This should appear on a page in the web site of the client.

    So I have two questions:

    (1) can I create this list of drop function in LiveCycle for web utility?

    (2) if so, I don't know where and how to start with hidden content or how it synchronize the State sectionals. Can someone point me in the right direction on how to accomplish this task?

    Thanks in advance.

    You can customize the table for your need. And the data can be in any order. It appears in the order by which you call upon the table.

    Hi, I'm trying to get a drop-down menu to control the 6 options of subform

  • How to use a function switch box to the reference that is used several times in the previous drop-down list options?

    I use JavaScript coding in LiveCycle and development of dependent drop-down areas, but I find it difficult to write correct code. See the example below. I'm trying to use a multiple box function that refers to an option that is listed several times in the previous pull-down menu. The problem I am running into is that when I refer to any color or Nissan and Chevy, it returns the results of the color in the "Ford" column only. I'll always see color (blue, black, green and purple) options in my second drop-down list and it seems fine, but then the third drop reference only the options and colors 'Ford '. (I don't have the code for the third menu list drop-down).

    I want the client to choose Chevy or Nissan and have her drop downs (based on the color they chose)-dependent, but I can't seem to make this work.

    I hope it is clear enough (probably as mud...). I would appreciate help!

    Form1. #subform [0]. #subform [1]. cboModels::exit - (JavaScript, client)

    cboColor.clearItems ();

    {Switch (this.) RawValue)}

    case "Ford":

    cboColor.addItem ("Blue");

    cboColor.addItem ("Black");

    cboColor.addItem ("Green");

    cboColor.addItem ("Purple");

    break;

    case 'Chevy ':

    cboColor.addItem ("Blue");

    cboColor.addItem ("Black");

    cboColor.addItem ("Green");

    cboColor.addItem ("Purple");

    break;

    case "Nissan":

    cboColor.addItem ("Blue");

    cboColor.addItem ("Black");

    cboColor.addItem ("Green");

    cboColor.addItem ("Purple");

    break;

    }

    Form1. #subform [0]. #subform [1]. cboColor::exit - (JavaScript, client)

    cboPrice.clearItems ();

    {Switch (this.) RawValue)}

    case "Ford":

    case "green":

    cboPrice.addItem ("blah");

    cboPrice.addItem ("blah");

    cboPrice.addItem ("blah");

    cboPrice.addItem ("blah");

    break;

    case 'Chevy ':

    case "green":

    cboPrice.addItem ("blah");

    cboPrice.addItem ("blah");

    cboPrice.addItem ("blah");

    cboPrice.addItem ("blah");

    break;

    case "Nissan":

    case "green":

    cboPrice.addItem ("blah");

    cboPrice.addItem ("blah");

    cboPrice.addItem ("blah");

    cboPrice.addItem ("blah");

    break;

    }

    You can use '\n' for newline in a string, so

    "Option 1, \nOption 2, \nOption 3;

    Put each on its own line.

  • Hide/show several subforms based on drop-down list selection

    Hi - I'm wanting to use a selection from a drop-down list for hide/show 17 subforms which contain only text. I tried if/else instructions that I used in the same way before but I have problems of implementation of that time. Is there a better way to do when several subforms are required to show/hide. Thank you.

    What event trigger you the action on? I have the following to the Exit event and it works.

    If (this.rawValue == "Hide") {}

    subForm1.presence = "hidden".

    }

    on the other

    If (this.rawValue == "Post") {}

    subForm1.presence = "visible".

    }

    If however you have the button 'Specify Item values' clicked on the link tab, you need to change the "Hide" values for their specified either value "1".

    You have changed the code to:

    If (this.rawValue == "2") {}

    subForm1.presence = "hidden".

    }

    on the other

    If (this.rawValue == "1") {}

    subForm1.presence = "visible".

    }

  • I created a PDF form with several drop downs, all with the same drop-down values. When I select a value of 1 in the drop-down list fields, it breeds in all others - which I don't want. How can I fix?

    I created a PDF form with several drop downs, all with the same drop-down values. When I select a value of 1 in the drop-down list fields, it breeds in all others - which I don't want. Can I fix?

    I am fairly new to this, but I think it has to do with the way you have drop them downs named. Copy you a then keep stick in each area? If so, that's the problem. You must rename each with a different number: Dropdown1, Dropdown2, etc. I think this might solve the problem.

  • Drop-down list complicated, making several text boxes

    Hello everyone. I searched high and low for something to talk about exactly how to do what I want - but I'm not finding anything that is quite right. Anyway, I want a drop down (with potentially hundreds of choice - I'd like to limit the number, but there is really no way...) where someone can choose their selection, then, after this election, several other text fields are filled with the corresponding information. I would like to have a file of database with the drop-down list of choices, then define somehow this on the ground and then what information goes into the next text box. This way you can get something from the menu drop down and the other boxes get filled correctly. Is this possible?

    Hi Joel, I think, if the information does not change much then your best bet is to stay in shape, as independent as possible, is to have the information contained in the form.  There are a number of connectivity problems that your users could suffer with an external data source.  I do not expect performance to be a problem, I developed forms with thousands of selections in a drop down, you can find the example I did a drop-down list of useful research in the Adobe Cookbook section, http://cookbooks.adobe.com/post_Drop_Down_List_Control_with_auto_complete__Searcha-18402.h tml, if your data contains a hierarchy then there are a number of examples around dependent dropdown lists to try , like this one http://thelivecycle.blogspot.com.au/2011/01/multi-level-dropdown-list.html. I'm glad you found my comments useful, cordially. Bruce

  • If statement to change the items in a drop-down list

    Is there a way to change the options in a drop-down list in a script (without data binding)? So I have a drop down list and depending on what the user selects the second drop-down list will have different options. These elements can be specified by an if statement in the preOpen the second dropdown list event? The form will be filled out offline, so I don't want to put a link of data binding.

    Thank you!

    Hello

    There are at least two ways, as shown in http://forums.adobe.com/message/4321707#4321707.  Basically clearItems/addItem if pre Reader 9.0 or setItems supported if you use Reader 9.0 or later.

  • Several lines in a drop-down list box

    Hello

    I'm trying to create a PDF for the purposes of the information and then print it.  I have very limited skills with Acrobat 8, basically what I have gotten myself and I encountered a problem with my drop-down list boxes.  Some of the sentences that I put in the boxes are too long and I have not been able to figure out how to wrap the text, or use multiple lines.  I need all my data to display.  Can someone explain, in simple terms, if possible, how this can be accomplished, or provide an alternative.  I have read several posts but were not able to work where to start with it.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you!

    I've implemented a small sample which should help you get started: https://acrobat.com/#d=R6J3Vsf4iJjsfE1tiNsVMg

    All the code is in the event of the button the mouse upwards. All you have to do is change the text for each item in the 'items' array to match the selections you want. Add as many items as you need. If you get stuck, post again.
