Sey uphp 3015 laserjet to fax

How to configure my hp 3015 laserjet to send faxes without disks?  I received as a gift a few years ago and I would now use to fax. It's a 60.5.72.21

You don't need a disk to send faxes. The only thing you will need is a phone line running to the rear of the machine fax entering directly into the wall outlet. Connect the phone to EXT 2 of the printer.

  • Manual by the composition of MFP LaserJet 1536dnf fax

I recently got a LaserJet MFP 1536dnf for use in my home/office. Sometimes, I need to send a fax from long distance. I use a phone so card first dial the access number; then select the menu option; enter my PIN code. Select the menu option; and finally diall the number for which I am fax.

My manual says to dial manually, but how can I do this? If I dial the number for the unti to dial a number, I have to press send by fax; then, as soon as responses of calling card service; the appliance starts to tryting to send the fax.

Ian can't just somehow let me dial numbers, etc., and when the numbers called answers start to send the fax?

I think that I stumbled across the solution-

After I compose each set of numbers, I press the key "#" and this causes the machine to pause and wait for more input. So it goes like this:

    • 1-800-1234567.
    • 1 # [menu selection]
    • # 123456789 [PINE
    • 1 # [menu selection
    • 55512345678 [fax number of the recipient]

and then my device will start voting as soon as he gets a reminder.

I tried experience call my cell phone with this and it seems to work. I don't have anyone off hand that I can fax to see if it works. When I need to send another fax; I 'he's trying this.

The other alternative is you describe, connect a spare phone unit or route of an existing externsión through the machine.

    Thank you.

  • LaserJet MFP127fn fax sending question

I'm having a problem with several units of Laserjet MFP127fn that comes to buy. When I go on send a fax and start typing the fax in the unit number, he's trying to connect before, I finished dialing the number. Other times he said cancelled fax but it would try to send. Then there's moments where it just goes back to the menu that says "load the document" that I type the fax number in.

I know wait until I typed the number of fax in then pushed ok before he dialed the number of the machine.

Is there any solution for this? I tried upgrading the firmware with no luck. If there is no solution for this I plan to return all 70 units that come to buy.

    Hi marquism76,

Sorry for the late reply. I was check in this issue. I'll try my best to get this resolved for you.

I have provided a document through the steps to see if this will solve the problem.

    Cannot send or receive faxes.

Run the fax test. What were the results?

    Disable error correction.

    Set the speed to slow.

Also to go into the configuration, the menu of configuration of fax, private receive and turn off please.

Just to clarify, you came and then fax number by pressing the button start Fax?

    Send a fax .

If the problem persists, could you possibly pass the device to one of the places where you are not the issue to dismiss any connection problem?

Please let me know how make you out.

    Thank you.

    Dear Sir.

I want to ask questions about faxing.

is it possible that when someone fax to me, I can save it in a folder or a file?

because I have a problem with roll.

It can suck 2 or more documents at the same time.

and when he got paper jam.

can I save the fax file in a folder?

    Thank you

    @rosen_putra86

Your printer can do "all kinds" of the fax functions.

The User Guide is a good resource to learn how to use the Fax options, including the section:

Send and receive faxes using a computer > Chapter 11, Page 210

The computer that will receive faxes must be available at any time (not asleep or closed).

    Hi INRBoca,

The M1319_FW_Upgrade_1206_20100802.exe update deals with the problems of fax.  It can be downloaded from

This HP support site.  It will take the connection to a computer to do the update, the printer driver can also be downloaded from the same site.

  • Printers with nonvolatile memory

I work in a hospital where we have several models of HP printers.  For the purposes of compliance with the confidentiality of private medical information, I need to know if one of the following HP printers have a non-volatile memory:

LaserJet 3015 Laserjet 3380, Officejet Pro K5400, Laserjet 2430tn and Business Inkjet 1200.  Where can I find this info?

    Hey,.

You should be well on these models, as none of them mentioned in the specifications of the product they had a bench of memory HARD drive style.

    Good luck.

  • Unwanted fax confirmation pages for faxes received on HP LaserJet 1536dnf MFP

I would like to disable the confirmation pages for faxes received on my HP LaserJet 1536dnf MFP but keep the pages of confirmation for faxes sent. How can I do this?

It is not too difficult.  Press Fax Menu button.  Tap the right arrow until that fax reports is on display (should be the first thing that pops up), then tap OK.  Press the right arrow until Fax of Confirmation is displayed (again, it should be the first thing that pops up) and press OK.  Press the right arrow until you see Send Fax only and press OK.  Now you should be set to get reports of confirmation only when sending.  Hope that helps.

  • LaserJet Pro M127FW: LaserJet Pro M127FW stuck to print Fax Page 1

I encounter an error on the MFP HP LaserJet Pro 127FW where it is blocked to message "Printing Fax Page 1". Cannot do anything else on the printer. I tried feeding this bike but still does not work. It has been like that for a few days now.

In my view, there are some instructions on other threads to do a hard reset. Help, please.

    Thank you.

As this does not work, I'll send you a private message describing how to perform a factory reset. You should see a private message to your forum Inbox shortly.

Please let me know if this clears the fax message.

  • I can not long print documents from my iMac/Snow Leopard / HP Laserjet 2300dtn combo. because everytime I try, a message pops up: ERROR: A Fax number is not provided. There is no mention of "fax" in the "print and fax ' file in Prefs system.»

I use an iMac 2011 under Snow Leopard, but it can no longer print documents via my hp laserjet 2300dtn printer. Reason: whenever I try, a message appears through the PRINT icon in the Dock, read: "ERROR: has not received a Fax number. There is no fax option in the Print & Fax window in the System Prefs so I have no idea about the origin of the error message, but suspect there is corruption in the printing preferences.  So I went username/library/Preferences/com.apple.print.PrintingPrefs plist... and a file is moved to the trash. Unfortunately, the problem is not resolved. I am far away computer and would love advice for this situation.

Try to reset the printing system.

  • HP Envy & LaserJet Pro: A free way to Fax

I have two printers. An all in one LaserJet Pro and envy and I'll try to find a free way to fax.

I checked the application here is a nun for faxing.

So does anyone know of an Android App, free app Windows 10 or way in the browser of Fax?

Although fax programs are beyond my scope of support, I would like to do everything I can to help. Since you can't scan to PDF and only have the option to scan as an image, I suspect that there is a problem with the software and suggest to uninstall and reinstall. Maybe, if you were able to scan in PDF, you should be able, you would be able to use the fax you program found.

Concerning fax communication problems, you've been through, I suggest you take a look at the following document to make sure that you have done all the recommended solutions: products of Fax all-in - One HP - impossible to send or receive faxes: troubleshooting fax problems.

Given that faxing is intermittent, I also recommend you call your phone provider to see if they can perform tests of line.

    I hope this helps.

  • LaserJet Pro M177fw MFP: confirm the fax sent

Is there a way for the printer to "beep" when a fax is sent successfully? Right now you have to look at the screen of the printer to confirm the fax has been sent successfully. Just old habit I guess.

    Hello @WaltGrosch,

Welcome to the forums of HP.

I understand you wanting to your M177fw "beep" when it sends a fax successfully.

    I would like to help.

If it's a wonderful idea, the Laserjet printer does not have this ability.

You can configure the printer to print a confirmation page when a fax is sent successfully.

I agree that the tone would be better.

To set the confirmation page, you can enter the menu setup then the fax menu.

  • LaserJet Pro M1536dnf troubled fax send... just saying fax work added but does not send

I have a LaserJet Pro M1536dnf, which is used as a stand alone Fax.  When we try to send a fax, the document is scanned, but instead to send the fax, it says Fax added task.  When you check the status of the fax machine it says nothing is stored and the fax is never sent.  I've updated the firmware to the last and it worked for a bit, but now it don't send faxes again.  He will receive faxes without any problem and can reproduce documents as well.  Is there anything else I can do to try to solve this problem.  I went through all the troubleshooting steps that appeared on the Web site.

    Appreciate the help!

  • LaserJet Pro M127fn MFP: Stuck "print fax page 1.

I had to receive two pages of fax. After that the first page has come through it is stuck "print fax page 1. The second page is never good. I can't print anything. I already disconnected my printer and plugged in. When the rear connection, it uses the same throughout first fax page and gets stuck again. Happen from nowhere at least once a week for the past few weeks.

    Hi @cvsc ,

I see that you are having problems with the printer stuck in an "Print fax page 1" error message when you restart the printer, it keeps printing the same fax. I would really like to be able to help solve this problem.

I would like to do a hard reset to see if that will solve the problem. It's probably a little different then what you have already tried.

Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector.
This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

I would say for updating the firmware of the printer. Here is the link just choose your operating system and select the firmware download. HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127/M128 series Firmware update.

If you're still having problems, try to reset the printer. I'll send you another step to try in a private message to try.
In the forum next to your handle name simply click on the envelope to see.

If you need help, let me know.

    Good day!
    Thank you.

  • LaserJet MFP M525 - incoming Fax number (mailbox full)

    Problem:

I'm working on a M525c who does not accept faxes all incoming visitors. The machine itself is not error codes, but the customer will get phone calls from their clients to inform them that a fax through and the outside client gets an error saying something like "Mailbox full". I confirmed that errors are observed by several clients from multiple locations, and there is sporadic.

    Additional details:

-The customer before (a month ago) had a LaserJet M521 who was having the same issue, what the required to return it and upgrade to the M525.

-They had an old machine to fax Muratec before those HP machines and never had any problems.

-The customer has had their fax checked by the telephone company line and everything came back ok.

    -Firmware is up to date

-I am a HP authorized technician and I work on M525c machines frequently and have not seen this problem before. (More specifically, I have not seen this question even two new printers simultaneously from the same family)

    Issues related to the:

There are default settings that might cause this problem? If so, what should I change to?

Has anyone seen elsewhere this same problem and how solve you this problem?
