  We have 1 VLAN disabled on our standard Cisco Catalyst switches and use our default VLAN 11.  We have recently added some 221 VLAN for voice while implementing a new Cisco UC system.  I can't disable VLAN1, however, I made the default VLAN 11 and 221 VLAN voice.  In management of VLANS, I can UNTAG 11 (VLAN PVID) on all ports but the connection to the Cisco 6506/port Gigabit.  The port still tags VLAN 11 and 221 and removes the brand VLAN (PVID) 1.

  I tried to make changes to the switch when you are connected to the switch and when I do the setting, the switch loses the connection to the 6506.  If I make the appropriate changes to GI (1) when you are connected to GI (2), the change takes effect, however, when I move the connection to GI (1) cable, the port and VLAN 11 configuration changes becomes identified and VLAN1 becomes marked.

  What is needed to prevent this?

  The roles of smartport negotiated links and seem to have resolved to manually set the port configurations.

  In addition, SX300 series does not support the SPAN distance, therfore silent monitoring does not work between the UCCX and phones when you plug into the switch (s).

  There is no 'RAM solution' for Windows Vista.  If you have a 32-bit version of Windows Vista, then you can install Service Pack 1 and it will allow you to 'see' the 4 GB of RAM on the property page, but it does not fully use it.

  If it is a single connection, you actually interrupt the network traffic to and from the host and virtual machines for a short period. If this is acceptable to you, then it's ok.

• Impossible to activate ports Gigabit Ethernet on ASA5510

  The ASA5510 has the Security license and running version 8.2 (5).

  When I put two Ethernet 0/0 (my inside interface) or Ethernet 0/1 to 1000 Full, the port stops on the switch and the ASA.

  If I put so many AUTO and AUTO, they work very well, but only 100 MB.

  I tried all possible combinations between the switch and the ASA and nothing works except for AUTO and AUTO.

  The switch is a 3750 G-48TS stacked with 3750 G-48PS.

  Is there a problem with the ASA or am I missing something here?

• Get-VirtualPortGroup - trying to get only the groups of ports attached to a switch.

  I've got the following as part of a script, that I'm working on.  I'm willing to all the port groups on the VMSwitch on all servers in the list.

  Gives me a list of all the port groups, on all switches.

  Is there something special about the. VirtualSwitch property that prevents from functioning correctly?  Is there another way to get a list of the groups of virtual ports on 'VMSwitch' and not vSwitch0 and vMotion?

  I think the name of the property in the VirtualPortGroupImpl object that you want is VirtualSwitchName not VirtualSwitch.

  Is it better to have all of your VMKernel ports on the same subnet or subnets separate (one for each role, iSCSI, management, vMotion, FT)?  Are their potential problems with either scenario?  Please include the ESX and ESXi.  I want to get my setup just as it should. Please let me know also if you need additional information.

  I have licenses for ESX and ESXi, but I'm leaning toward ESXi are all vSphere 4 Update 1.

  In fact, you have to use separate subnets for your vmkernel ports but they can run on the same thread. You can share a subnet between a vmkernel and service console, but not between two vmkernels. Just like that. So yes, you need to use several subnets.

  In the preferences/Options > privacy > history > show Cookies...

• Management of switch software

  I am trying to develop a system to monitor the components on the cards of PCB in the oven, it s essentially has a failure analysis of components such as C, resistors and capacitors.

  Here are some of my test system

  The test system must monitor the components on the PCB 1 year.

  I want to measure the resistances and abilities using a RLC to identify the problem. Failure of the resistance is identified with an open circuit and a failure of the capacitor is identified with a circuit short circuit/open. I have a 420 capacitances to measure and I would like to automate the measurement using multiplexers of NOR.

  I got to watch the first ability (C1) 3 minutes (which would be linked to the first input of the multiplexer), followed by second 3 minutes and so on. Once all 420 capacities are monitored, the loop must start from Capacitance C1.  I would like to know how to program the switches of the NOR. Could someone please suggest me how to proceed with this. ? Is good enough to automate Labview switches or should I go ahead with the switch management software? Can you please explain in detail because am a beginner in Labview?  Forward to your response. Thanks in advance

  Measurement of the capacitance range are you watching?

  What voltage are the plugs at?  Looks like it's just a test section, but I guess the capacitors to be held at a constant DC bias?  (Otherwise, the test data that you collect is capacitance of the real world).

  Without any specific input except the number of capacitors, I recommend 5 multiplexers of PXI-2575 x configured as a 2 son 98 x 1 mux.  You can use the PXI-2575 x modules only 3 in mode 1 wire 196 x 1 if your DUJT capacity is sufficient to overcome the parasitic capacitance total of 420 caps (all the negative wires would be linked to the negative contribution of the IGS), but I recommend the approach 2-wire, because it isolates each CAP in a differential measurement.

  The PXI-4072 has a function of measure of ability.

  With respect to the software, I recommend using NOR-DAQmx switch API, but you can also use the OR-Switch and NI Switch Executive API as well.  However, I think that NI Switch Executive is excessive for this application, and it will take a unique session for each switch OR Switch module (OR-Switch is consistent IVI and IVI has no concept of linking several modules).

  My question is what are the benefits of the stack of the two switches? If I just cross/split connect them should not be redundant?

  With EQL suggesting for all ports on the storage CARD in an OFFSET, this SHIFT needs to go to a physics/battery unit. And should not be split across several separate switches. With this in mind, so trying to keep the idea of redundancy, I would propose a combination of the two.

  

  With the above you end up with a redundancy of the storage unit to the battery, as well as a redundancy of the stack to the stack.
